Hey Folks! Welcome to a great opportunity for the right individual. Usually we do not sell vehicles that have a SALVAGE TITLE, and we actually specialize in 1-owner, low mileage Imports, but we took this vehicle in, and believe this represents an outstanding opportunity for someone looking for a 7/8 passenger Four Wheel Drive SUV. Let me tell you about this full-size Expedition XLT. You are viewing an attractive 2007 Ford Expedition XLT 4WD. It was originally purchased in North Carolina and has been in Florida since 2010. So it has mainly been a fair-weather vehicle. It is full-size, and has the more-desirable 5.4 liter V-8 (as opposed to the 4.6 liter which is considerably underpowered). It is loaded with full power options. It has ice cold air conditioning, rear air conditioning and all the options work properly (windows, locks, cruise control, intermittent wipers). It also have factory fog lamps, factory security system and keyless remote entry. This SUV was involved in an accident in 2010 in North Carolina, and AutoCheck shows it as minor to moderate damage. That's what they list it as, and we can send you the pictures at your request. Now, so that is out in the open. Please only bid if you know that, and understand that this Expedition had the Salvage Title issued after that accident. And because the battery went dead, and they couldn't read the digital odometer, they also enter a TMU order (True Mileage Unknown). But the truth is, this truck has only 93,352 miles on it. Records show that, and those are what the miles are on the truck., TMU entry or not. It appears to have been owned by a non-smoker and the interior is very clean with the exception of a couple stains. Seats and headliner and dash all look very good. Again, there are a couple minor spots, but as you can tell by the photos, the interior is clean. We've provided plenty of interior photos, and it also has a complete set of original carpeted floor mats. The exterior is in very good condition as well. We just had the truck detailed, as you can see by the photos, so EVERYTHING shows up on a newly detailed vehicle. So, it is in very good condition, but there are a few minor items. For instance, the FORD blue oval on the grille is a bit discolored. It happens to them all. It happened on my 32,000 F-350. Its $30 from the Ford dealership. There are a few scratches here and there, but overall, the exterior is clean. and again, since its been in Florida, we all know the benefits of a Florida-driven vehicle. Its had a new, complete tune-up and I just drove this 4-wheel drive Expedition XLT from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Jacksonville, FL. That's around 300 miles folks. And with ease. A very nice drive. Since it accident, its been repaired and driven fine since the accident in 2010, and again, the accident was reported as Minor to Moderate. Not quite sure why the totaled out the vehicle per the Insurance Company. But their loss, is your gain! The latest July 2014 NADA Used Car Guide shows the retail value for this truck without any loss history to be $13,625.....and a trade-in value of $10,575. So, do your homework, see what these SUV's are trading for. It also has very nice and practical chrome step bars, that not only look great, but are useful. The stereo system is excellent, with CD. And the tires are Brand New on factory aluminum alloy wheels. They are All-Season AT radials. There is about $750 worth on new rubber on this truck, and of course all the fluids and filters have been replaced. This Expedition XLT is ready for a long road trip, or a trip to the Country Club. We list our vehicles to sell and many end with a simple phone call to a sales associate. Please call Steve at 561.283.9511 with any questions you may have. I'll be happy to answer them. We have the Florida title in hand. Again, this is a Salvage Title vehicle, that has the accident history and previous damage documented and while the original mileage is 93,000 we are selling it TMU because some dummy at the insurance agency was too lazy to put a jump box on the battery to see the dashboard and the digital mileage readout. Don't worry, they all do that. Its business as usual in big corporate America. If you live locally, stop by our dealership in Jacksonville and inspect this Wedgewood Blue Metallic Expedition XLT 4WD in person. Take it for a ride and check it out. The finish is nice and brilliant, the interior smells fresh and clean, the truck runs and drives very good. You'll love it. If you want to save a lot of money from what your Ford dealer wants to charge you for their 2007 Expedition, take a look at this one. We ship Worldwide and can set up transportation for you. We charge a $299 dealer fee to each purchase. Please call or e-mail with any questions. This is a No Reserve 7 day auction. So good luck to everyone bidding. Do not miss this one. This will probably be the best deal you will find on a 2007 Ford Expedition anywhere. Bid with confidence and Bid to win! |

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost already hitting 12-second quarters
Sun, 28 Sep 2014The arrival of a new Ford Mustang means many things to many people, but not least of them is drag racers. The pony car has always been a mainstay of the drag strip, and the Ford Racing team aims to carry that reputation forward with this latest generation. So it cooked up a few basic modifications on three new 'Stangs and headed to the strips at US 131 and Milan Dragway to see what they could coax out of 'em.
Impressively, the 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT with a few modifications (but no forced induction) managed to clock a quarter-mile time of 11.77 seconds. Another Mustang GT fitted with a supercharger clocked a blistering 10.97 seconds. But just as intriguing was the modified EcoBoost model that, with only four cylinders and 2.3 liters of displacement, still passed the gates in just 12.56 seconds - nearly half a second better than expected. This with modification limited to a new subframe, half-shaft, drive shaft loops, exhaust, engine calibration, slicks, roll cage and bucket seat. Well done, boys.

2020 Toyota Highlander vs other 3-row crossovers: There can only be one!
Fri, Dec 20 2019We've done quite a few spec comparison posts involving three-row family crossovers, and when included, the Toyota Highlander has always been the runt of the group. While the rest increasingly seemed to be benchmarking each other toward greater girth, the Highlander was the outlier. That changes a bit for the 2020 Toyota Highlander, but only a bit. It's now larger and more competitive, specifically in regards to the amount of cargo space aft of the third-row seat. As you can see below, this aligns the Highlander most closely to its long-time competitor the 2020 Honda Pilot. However, let's see how it stacks up to others in the segment, which is heavily populated now, so for the sake of space, we've selected the newest entries: Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, Subaru Ascent and Ford Explorer. The order in which they are presented is random. Performance and fuel economy The 2020 Highlander is more than 200 pounds lighter than its predecessor, but has the same 295-horsepower V6 engine that was already one of the strongest in the segment. We'd say that would give it a leg up, but the Pilot and Explorer have proven to be sprinters, delivering 0-60 times in the low-6 range by some publications' stopwatches (or VBoxes, whatever). We don't expect the Highlander to beat them, but it may dip into the 6's. The heavy, less-powerful Subaru Ascent is most likely to take up the rear. It's fuel economy of 23 mpg combined also matches the Highlander and Explorer for segment-best. Remember, however, that the Explorer's turbocharged inline-four engine is likely more susceptible to differences in driving style (read: a heavy foot). Of course, if you're really interested in fuel economy, the Highlander and Explorer are the only vehicles in the segment to offer hybrid versions. The Ford Explorer Hybrid puts a greater emphasis on performance, however, resulting in lower estimates of 25 mpg combined (AWD) and 28 mpg combined (FWD). By contrast, the new 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is estimated to return 36 mpg combined. Passenger and cargo space According to Highlander chief engineer Yoshikazu Saeki, he had a choice of two directions with the new Highlander. He could have indeed made it bigger, matching these very competitors, especially in terms of third-row and cargo space. Or, he could have maintained a smaller-than-average size. He obviously chose the latter. First, it was the size customers had come to expect. Would they be put off by something bigger?
