Rated for 26 passengers with 240" stretch. This limo is almost 40 feet long and was used for tours of the Rocky Mountains. I am the fourth owner, and have included a picture of all the Colorado PUC stickers on the windshield as proof. Bought it from another limo operator in Nashville, TN and he was the third owner. We had a minor accident on the front passenger side in 2010, but it was fixed immediately. This limo is currently located in Fort Collins, Colorado is still in service on our website at the Longest Limos in Fort Collins. Just Google it. Very clean interior for its age. Engine and transmission meticulously maintained. Tires have less than 1000 miles on them, and comes with full spare, jack and lift. Just installed 2 BRAND NEW batteries from Advance Auto with 3 year free replacement warranty. Running boards redone 2 months ago, and body is in great condition with absolutely no rust. AC blows ice cold, and front cabin has flat screen TV with DVD and USB/Ipod hookup. Rear passenger area has 4 bars spanning over 20 feet, neon, fiber-optics, CD player with Ipod hookup, Lava lamp, 2 dozen champagne flutes and the largest glowing star field you have ever seen. It runs over 20 feet long on the ceiling and looks incredible with changing colors. Sorry there are no pics at night, but it looks like Vegas inside.
Since I have been misled on several vehicle purchases on Ebay, please be assured that EVERY single issue with this limo has been listed below. No surprises. There is nothing worse than being unpleasantly surprised after flying in and discovering something is not as described. I have been there. Here we go... Carpets need a good cleaning from all the beer being spilled from this past year. Floor mats have one hole. Front bumper has small ding. (see pic) There are 2 tears in the canvas top. (You can see black tape sealing it on the very top of the roof in the front pic) Doors do not lock with the Lock/Unlock button, but you can operate them manually. Front AC is really cold. Rear AC works great, but needs to be recharged on a regular basis. ABS light is. Has been since I purchased it back in 2007. CHECK ENGINE light is on because of an EGR valve. Had them check it at Advance Auto Parts when batteries were replaced. Brand new parts installed in last month.... Alternator, 2 batteries, AC compressor, and tune-up. Thanks for looking. Feel free to call me with questions at 970-215-8358. I paid $38,000 for this limo back in 2007 and have already gotten four times my money back. No reserve and bidding starts at $1000. |

UAW warns automakers: Restarting U.S. plants is 'too soon and too risky'
Fri, Apr 24 2020WASHINGTON/WARREN, Mich. — The head of the United Auto Workers union on Thursday said it was "too soon and too risky" to reopen auto plants and Michigan's economy in early May, citing insufficient scientific data and coronavirus testing to assure workplaces are safe. The warning from UAW President Rory Gamble on Thursday afternoon came as General Motors Co , Ford Motor Co and Toyota Motor Corp took new steps toward reopening North American vehicle manufacturing operations in an environment where consumer demand is uncertain and worker safety paramount. The union has said that 24 of its members have died from Covid-19, though it was unclear whether they might have become infected in the workplace. Unionized Detroit automakers and non-union German and Asian automakers have been preparing to restart U.S. vehicle making operations by early May. Companies have shifted reopening dates amid uncertainty about government stay-at-home orders. Gamble's statement appeared to derail plans by the Detroit Three to start bringing UAW workers back to vehicle manufacturing jobs on May 4. The longer the automakers cannot produce profitable U.S.-made trucks and sport utility vehicles, the longer they burn cash. The UAW leader's statement was also aimed at Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who has come under pressure from conservative groups and President Donald Trump to ease coronavirus stay-at-home restrictions. "At this point in time, the UAW does not believe the scientific data is conclusive that it is safe to have our members back in the workplace. We have not done enough testing to really understand the threat our members face," Gamble said. "We strongly suggest to our companies in all sectors that an early May date is too soon and too risky to our members, their families and their communities." Gamble said the union was "happy with the auto companiesÂ’ response and cooperation on working through the health and safety protocols we will need in the workplace when it is appropriate to restart." Earlier Thursday, GM began notifying front line managers to come back to work next week to get trained on new safety protocols designed to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus as workers return to plants.
Ford dinged by OSHA for asbestos at Buffalo plant
Sat, 20 Jul 2013Ford has come under fire from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for violations regarding asbestos exposure in a company metal stamping plant in Buffalo, NY. OSHA has cited Ford for eight violations in total, according to an Automotive News report, and faces fines of up to $41,800. 537 workers are employed at the stamping facility.
The violations include a pipefitter at the facility being exposed to asbestos-containing material while working on a steam line, other workers exposed to the material without respiratory protection and work areas that were not designed to limited the number of workers in contact with asbestos. Further, areas in which asbestos was present were not properly restricted, and levels of asbestos in the air were not monitored.
According to an unnamed Ford spokesperson in the AN report, the company feels that the OSHA citation is erroneous saying, "We have fully cooperated with the local OSHA officials and we don't believe the citations are warranted." Ford also maintains that it will work with the authorities to resolve the issue.
