I looked for a couple of years to find an X this clean before purchasing this one. My family and I have used this vehicle for family vacations to Colorado and to travel all over the state hauling my son to baseball tourneys, and it has never let us down, not to mention it provides better fuel mileage than any other vehicle we own. (Avg. 18-21mpg) I'm the third owner, and have made the following mods since purchasing from a Ford Service Manager, at a local dealership last September

Installed custom 4" suspension system built by CT Performance Inc, inclusive of custom valved bilstein shocks, singles in rear and duals in front, and dual fox steering stabilizers. You can look them up at http://ctperformanceinc.com/

Professionally installed audio/video system inclusive of the following. (Receipt Available)

Kenwood DNX690HD Stereo/DVD/CD/Nav. head unit.

6Ct 5"X9" Focal speakers, and 1Ct 12" JL Audio Sub.

700W 5 Channel JL Audio amp

10" Audiovox Rear DVD/Entertainment System with 2 Sets Of Headphones

2 Way Clifford Alarm System, with Viper Smart Start System

MBRP 4" Turbo back exhaust system

3 gauge pillar pod with Autometer gauges, boost, egt, and transmission temp.

Edge Evolution programmer never tuned higher than Level 1 for increased fuel economy Avg. 18-21mpg

05-07 Front End Conversion inclusive of front bumper, grille, and headlights.

05-07 power towing mirror conversion.

Firm on price, as I have personally added 10K worth of extras to this vehicle since purchasing in Semptember of 2013. The only reason I'm selling it is I have taken a new job and have moved, and no longer have the space, or the time to enjoy it as I had originally planned when purchasing. Clear and transferrable title.

Ford sued over alleged 3.5-liter EcoBoost defects

Thu, 16 May 2013

Three Ford owners from Ohio have filed a lawsuit against the automaker over defects that they allege exist within the company's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine. Automotive News reports that the lawsuit claims the engine "contained serious latent design, manufacturing, or assembly defects." Those defects, the suit claims, cause the vehicle to shake, misfire and lose power quickly.
Two of the plaintiffs, a married couple, own a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, and allege they experienced a loss of power and stalling, while the third, an F-150 owner, claims he lost power while accelerating. In addition to the Taurus SHO and F-150, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine is also available in the Ford Flex, Explorer Sport and Lincoln MKT and MKS. Other three- and four-cylinder EcoBoost engines are not included in the suit. There have been no recalls associated with 3.5-liter V6 engine, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is currently not investigating the matter.
The plaintiffs, however, claim Ford has known about the problem, citing several technical service bulletins issued to dealers of the F-150 that suggest possible fixes. Ford had no comment for Automotive News, saying that it's yet to review the lawsuit, which was filed last Friday in Columbus, OH.

Ford Mustang returning to Australia in 2016

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

Australia's Herald Sun newspaper has reported that the next-generation Ford Mustang is heading Down Under in 2016, just as Ford is hanging the "Closed for Good" sign on its Australian manufacturing operations and sending the Falcon to its grave. Ford hasn't offered any official word on the matter, but the paper says that Ford's global VP of sales and marketing, Jim Farley, is flying to Australia to make the announcement himself.
While Ford converted Mustangs in the early 2000s from left-hand to right-hand drive for the Australian market and then sold them at high prices, it's been almost five decades since Ford imported a dedicated right-hand-drive Mustang to Oz. The arrival of the global model specifically made for places like Australia and the UK means Ford will also be able to offer them at better prices than the converted models; the Herald Sun says the price is expected to be "close to $50,000."
And that's for one of the "V8 performance models," which are the only ones Australia will get; Ford apparently won't send the turbocharged four cylinder or the V6. The Aussies could find out in a month from now whether this rumor is true. We will all find out what this Mustang fuss is about when the car debuts at next year's New York Auto Show.

Ford Mustang to get four-cylinder in Europe, but not US

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

Fans of the Ford Mustang SVO, which was produced from 1884 through 1986 with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine and a manual transmission, may be interested to know that Ford is reportedly going to introduce something similar for 2015. But don't get too excited if you live in the US, as Edmunds reports that the vehicle will be offered in Europe only. Boo!
According to the report, Ford will put a version of its EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder into the engine bay of the Mustang. The engine would be enlarged from its current 2.0 liters to 2.3 liters, taking horsepower from 252 to around 300. The well-known 5.0 V8 engine will also be available in Europe.
"The Mustang is uniquely Ford and has a huge fan base here in Europe. Now those fans have something to look forward to and we look forward to providing more details in the near future," says Ford of Europe CEO Stephen Odell. That's great... but why not offer buyers in the States the (likely) fuel-efficient turbo option, too?
