Selling for a friend who is 92 years old.  His Daughter and Son have been taking him in this vehicle for years.  Most of the milage was at first, but lately it is hardly being used.  Thats why they are selling it now.  I have know the vehicle since new.  They always take excellant care of their vehicles.  It would be over serviced and always garaged.  No one smokes and they are very careful people.  As you can see it is loaded with equipment and in excellant shape.  Tires are new Michelins.  I'm not sure if it has ever towed anything.  Seats are like new, naturally a little wear show on driver seat.  Right rear vent didn't work when I tried it and they didn't know it.  They don't use them.  3 automatic door lock work spiratically according to them,  You can see them move but don't go all the way up.  One roof vent for rear A/C falls out.  Thats all I can find wrong.  Runs like a champ and looks like it did when it was new.  The California title is clear and in my hand.  They are the original owner.  No accidents or mechanical failures.  Who ever gets to own this Excursion won't be disappointed and will be very lucky to get such a nice Vehicle.  Hope pictures answer all you question, but if not call Gary at 951-471-0348 (home) 951-852-0197 (cell).  Your welcome to come look and test drive.  If your out of state I will be glad to pick you up at Ontario, San Diego, Orange County or even Los Angeles airport.  I will always try to help.  We want your check to clear before you pick it up and want a cashiers check or cash!!!  THANKS and Good Luck bidding.

Retro Wrong: MotorWeek shares first unaired pilot episode

Fri, Apr 17 2015

MotorWeek is an automotive institution in the United States. We all have to get our start somewhere though, and for the latest entry in the Retro Review series, the show is releasing its unaired pilot for the first time. Even today, the program isn't necessarily the most exciting thing on TV, but the modern incarnation looks like Top Gear compared to this original, very monotone attempt. The cars on display are more interesting from a historical aspect than actually being behind the wheel. MotorWeek puts the Chevrolet Citation and Ford Fairmont head to head. If you want to see progress in the auto industry, look here. The Fairmont manages a rousing 85 horsepower from a 3.3-liter inline six, and the Citation does only a little better with a 115-hp, 2.8-liter V6. The other highlight comes at the end when John Davis talks about the cars of the future. These include the upcoming introduction of the Ford Escort in the US and the mention of a possible gasoline-electric hybrid from General Motors. Given this pilot, it's amazing MotorWeek ever got the green light. However, if you're a fan of auto history, seeing the news from the past is always fascinating. Fields 'required' to use private aircraft, could make $5.25M as Ford CEO this year

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

Mark Fields' travels on the friendly skies will soon be a relatively personal affair, as the new CEO at Ford will be required to resume air travel via the company's private planes. Fields caught plenty of flak in 2007 for flying on the company's dime to visit his family in Florida. He's since flown commercial.
According to Ford spokesperson Susan Krusel, who spoke to Bloomberg, Fields (pictured above right, with Bill Ford, Jr. at center and Alan Mulally at left) will switch to private travel "for safety and to maximize his availability for company business." In addition to his new travel arrangements, the 53-year-old exec's salary and bonuses have been revealed.
Regulatory filings by Ford revealed that Fields, whose first day in the big chair was July 1, will receive a base salary this year of $1.25 million and he'll be eligible for $3.5 million in bonuses, both of which are lower than Alan Mulally's $2 million salary and $5.88 million in bonuses received last year. That's also lower than General Motors CEO Mary Barra's alleged $1.6-million salary and considerably less than Sergio Marchionne's $3.19-million fixed salary from Fiat. Despite falling short of other CEOs, Fields' new pay still represents a 33-percent increase over his pay as Chief Operating Officer.

Ford dominates most-stolen SUV list

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

The Ford Escape leads the NICB's list with 1,421 examples stolen.
If you drive a recent Ford SUV or crossover, you may want to keep a watchful eye out for thieves - especially if you live in the New York metro area or in Detroit. A new study from the National Insurance Crime Bureau has named three Ford models as the most likely vehicles in their genre to be stolen, with CUVs in general being especially attractive to bandits.
