I have up for bid, a 2006 E-450 cutaway ambulance chassis.  This chassis was traded in when we remounted the ambulance body that was originally on it.  This was a County owned and operated vehicle and was well-maintained.  It has the 6.0 Liter Turbo-diesel Powerstroke engine with automatic transmission.  It was in service prior to coming to us for a remount, therefore the alternators, AC, transmission, etc all function as they should.  This unit starts, drives, shifts and stop very well.  We do have both front seats although only one is shown in the pictures.  The cab, although in decent shape, does show some wear and tear as to be expected from an ambulance with this many miles.  The refrigerant in the AC has been reclaimed and it is now disconnected.

Potential buyers are welcome to come and take a look and test-drive this chassis.  I would be happy to forward any additional pictures, if desired.

Buyer is responsible for shipping or driving the unit away.  This unit may be driven as it is or you can choose to put a piece of plywood across the back to close in the cab.  If the unit will be driven away, we will make sure that it has mud flaps and break/tail lights.

Please plan on making full payment within 5 days of the end of auction.  We can hold the unit here for up to two weeks at no cost.  We are a Michigan Automotive dealer and must follow required guidelines for in-state or out-of-state sales.  This may include Michigan or your local State taxes being collected here and us processing the title at our State office prior to you leaving with the chassis.

Feel free to call with any questions -- Mark @ 231-250-4790

Watch Piquet and Mansell bend some sheetmetal in Ford Fusion GP

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

As we told you about before, there were four episodes planned for the Ford Fusion GP campaign in Brazil, and the whole series has now run its course. The Ford ads pit Brazilian Formula One driver Nelson Piquet against English F1 pilot Nigel Mansell driving the new Fusion, the two coming together again after their partnership at the Williams F1 team ended in a miserable state more than 20 years ago.
They're lined up for you below, in reverse chronological order. You should watch number three first, though, as it adds a bit more spice to the NASCAR action in the fourth.
