For sale is a 2007 crown Vic police interceptor. Price REDUCED - 4700 OR BEST OFFER! 68,957 miles (!) this was the "supervisor's" car hence the extremely low miles. Has a 3 inch thick book of maintenance records. Runs GREAT, drives flawlessly, brakes, silicone hoses, battery, and newer tires (Firestone Firehawks - I put a coin in the tread in one of the pics so you can see the tread depth remaining)

Couple minor issues w/ the car: white paint is starting to peel off of one of the doors, black paint on two of the rims has a little surface rust (it comes off easily - would be a quick fix to re-paint black) and there is a small dent in the fender, presumably from a bad guy.
Not too many creature comforts on these, but it does have power windows & locks, and power locks. Comes with a cool brush bar up front, working spot light, and Kevlar bullet-proof inserts still in the doors, in case the apocalypse occurs, or if you just happen to live in a rough part of town.
Interior is clean & flawless with a brand new back seat! Rear doors currently do not open from the inside, but all the hardware is there, just needs connected. I can do this for a buyer if you'd like.

In particular, it focuses on the Mister Softee trucks, which criss-crossed neighborhoods of the eastern US serving ice cream. Looking past the ultra-durable vehicles used - heavy-duty Ford-based chassis, for what it's worth - the article delves into some deeper national-security territory.
See, Mister Softee truck owners were voluntary members of the Civil Defense, thanks to all the useful stuff (potable water, generators, freezers and fridges) that the machines carried with them for serving ice cream. Ford says C-Max mpg reduction has hurt sales

The Ford C-Max is having a rough time. Sales for the five-door hybrid hatchback were down 39.1 percent in March to 2,295 cars, and sales from January through March were down 42.5 percent to 5,566 units. In an interview with The Detroit News, Ford Americas boss Joe Hinrichs places the blame on lowering the model's fuel economy rating.
"We're definitely seeing consideration on C-Max decline over time. We need to reinvest in the product because it's a great car," said Hinrichs to The Detroit News.
The company was hit with bad publicity over the C-Max when owners in multiple states filed class action lawsuits that alleged the cars weren't able to meet the stated fuel economy. Ford eventually re-rated the model from 47 miles per gallon city, highway and combined to 40 mpg city, 45 mpg highway and 43 mpg combined. To soften the blow of the change, the automaker sent checks to the owners to make up some of the difference. Initially, Ford claimed that demand remained strong for the hybrid. However, the latest sales figures and Hinrichs' statement seem to show the opposite.

It hasn't yet been 12 hours since the hotly anticipated 2015 Ford Mustang has been let out into public view. After a series of evocative leaks over the course of the last days, we brought you a full deep dive of the sixth-generation pony car at the dawning of today. And yet, here we are rushing to bring you news of a new Mustang variant, already.
Be it part of a plan to keep the Mustang fervor at full boil, or a misunderstood email somewhere in the chain of command, Ford UK has unceremoniously tweeted a picture of the 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible. For a newly global Mustang, getting our first look at the droptop from the convertible-crazy British does make some amount of sense.
As for details, well, you're looking at them. Brandon Turkus reported yesterday that the Mustang 'vert would make use of a fully electric convertible mechanism, and that it would be of fabric construction rather than some kind of retractable hardtop. We see here that the fabric part is clearly true, and it does look as though Ford may still be employing the same kind of manually attached tonneau cover that exists right now. Of course, our view from this angle isn't great, and the particulars are still up in the air.
