1979 Ford LTD 2 Door Sedan. This car has a 302 cubic inch engine and a automatic C4 trans that runs great for a car this size, The Engine is very strong It has approx. 15K on a rebuilt motor ( New pistons, bored .030 over, ground crankshaft, rebuilt heads and a mild cam). Recently overhauled 2BBL Carburetor, New water and fuel pump, the power steering pump has new seals in it. It has a Chrome air cleaner (new) and valve covers to, the air conditioning still works and blows cold in the summer. The brakes are good, it has a new brake master cylinder, brake line and fluid. The rearend is good it has a new pinion shaft seal and gear lube. The body is straight except for the little ding, dents and such that comes with a car of 34 years old, it had a vinyl roof at one time but it was removed and sanded and primered black, It still has nice Chrome on the outside, Bumpers, grill and trim. The windows have been tinted, It has bucket seats, the interior needs to be redone but the dash front is still in good shape, the windshield has a single line crack on the passenger side but is not restrictive, the front tires are in good condition, Texas safety inspection sticker good until 4-14, This would make a great project car for a old Ford enthusiasts. This car is a good Hi-way ride but does need some TLC. This is a Great Buy you will have the only Car like this around, I get lots of looks when I drive this car and  Kool comments to...The Engine and transmission alone could be sold for $1500....

2015 Ford Mustang GT Line-Lock Burnout

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

In this brief Short Cut, Autoblog's Steven Ewing demonstrates Line-Lock on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. Accessed through an on-screen performance menu, the feature temporarily locks the front brakes to help you heat up the rear tires for better traction, as you would for drag racing. The result? A 15-second smokescreen.

Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock

Thu, 18 Apr 2013

Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500. Scroll down for a press release celebrating Flat Rock's milestone Mustang.

Is that the Ford GT Le Mans racer in the background of this Forza video?

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Shortly after the reveal of the new Ford GT in Detroit a couple of weeks ago, Microsoft announced that it was putting the new American supercar on the cover of the upcoming sixth installment of the Forza Motorsport video game series. Now it has put out a video of the process of digitizing Dearborn's latest. Whether you're into Detroit steel (or carbon fiber and aluminum in this case), exotic supercars or video games, the video is worth a watch in and of itself. But our eyes were focused on something else. In the background of one shot (around the 1:49 mark) you can see a design board with renderings of what looks to be the rumored racing version of the GT – complete with reshaped air intakes, deeper side sills, a bigger rear wing and a central rear fin like you'd find on the latest LMP1 racing prototypes. It wouldn't be the first time we've caught wind of the prospect of the Blue Oval's new supercar going racing. We first heard of the plans last October, further reinforced in December with reports of the new GT coming to Detroit. And as we reported just a couple of weeks ago following the supercar's reveal, a return to Le Mans could be in the cards – which would be fortuitous timing, since next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the original GT40 scoring its landmark 1-2-3 finish in the 24-hour race.
