Up for auction is a 1990 Ford Bronco XLT (302 V8) with 180,000 miles. Can be fixed up but also would make a good parts vehicle.

The truck has the following issues:

-Transmission begins to slip after entering 3^rd gear (can be driven under 25 mph, 4x4 works)

-Rough idle (will occasionally stall at idle, otherwise it runs well at higher rpm)

-Possibly needs a head gasket. There are multiple fluid leaks and the oil appears to have some contamination. This could explain the poor idle but I have not had the time to investigate this.

-Some surface rust (rear wheel wells, rocker panels, tailgate and rear bumper)

-Some scratches, dings, etc. and clear coat is starting to go on hood and roof

-Was rear ended causing minor damage to step bumper (bumper was in bad shape to begin with) and driver side quarter panel (small dent and paint chip)

-Not currently inspected for PA

The following parts have been recently replaced:

-Exhaust system

-Windshield

-Starter motor

-Spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor

-Ignition actuator rod

-Fuel filter

-Fuel tank straps

The interior is clean (non-smoker) and in good condition aside from a small tear in the driver seat and some stains in the carpet. The rear window works (can only be operated from switch on dash, key switch on tailgate doesn’t work) and both power windows work. Tires are decent with about 50% tread remaining.

Watch Piquet and Mansell bend some sheetmetal in Ford Fusion GP

As we told you about before, there were four episodes planned for the Ford Fusion GP campaign in Brazil, and the whole series has now run its course. The Ford ads pit Brazilian Formula One driver Nelson Piquet against English F1 pilot Nigel Mansell driving the new Fusion, the two coming together again after their partnership at the Williams F1 team ended in a miserable state more than 20 years ago.
They're lined up for you below, in reverse chronological order. You should watch number three first, though, as it adds a bit more spice to the NASCAR action in the fourth.

Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track

The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. Aussie Ford Falcon GT shows its rear end to Lamborghini Gallardo

When Ford Australia announces, as it did recently, that it wants to celebrate the end of its Ford Performance Vehicle division with a Falcon FPV GT-F that celebrates big-bore origins of the nameplate, it's talking about the kind of car in this video.
At some point the classic Falcon GT - said to be an XY series - was invited to a test of acceleration against a Lamborghini Gallardo. At the very least, the Falcon GT had a 351 cubic-inch motor and 300 horsepower, but whatever this guy's got under the hood of his yellow sedan makes has him so confident that he doesn't even move his elbow from its resting place on the door.
