I have a 1985 Ford Bronco up for sale. This is a decent project vehicle that needs very little mechanically. The body is in need of some attention though. The truck has 91,000 original miles on it. This vehicle is a 2 owner, family owned vehicle. It has the 5.8-liter 351 4 valve high output engine paired with the 3-speed automatic transmission. It has manual locking hubs that move freely and a manual shifting 4x4 selector on the floor that engages properly with no flaws. The interior is in great shape. The carpet has a few bare spots in the back cargo area from something being spilled. The dash has 2 hairline cracks about 2" in length but is in great shape compared to most of these Broncos this age. The truck did run great with no flaws until Tuesday morning. I'm pretty sure either the starter or flywheel went out. When you try to start it the starter engages but spins freely as if the teeth from the flywheel could be stripped. So the vehicle doesn't start currently and will need towed or trailered. It did run great up until the other day with no leaks or issues. The rear window works and tailgate operates like new. The front windows are power and go down easily but need a little help coming back up. All of the dash features work including the factory tachometer and stereo. The air conditioning belt has been removed due to a bad pulley on the ac compressor. The front brakes are 2 months old, the tires are brand new with only 500 miles on them. The tires are Mastercraft Courser M/T mud terrain tires and are like new! The Bronco was involved in a traffic accident in 2011 that involved the front fender and door hence the multi-colored door and fender. Due to the age and condition of the vehicle, the insurance company totalled the Bronco. I rebuilt it with the fender and door and had it inspected and received a rebuilt salvage title. So yes, it is road worthy and legal to drive and put plates on it. The title is signed, notarized and ready for the new owner. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION with a starting price of $500.00!!! I just paid $850.00 for the tires alone. If you have any questions, please call or text Zach at 330-546-3323. Thank you.

Mustang Cobra Jet prototype garners $200k for charity at Barrett-Jackson
Wed, 02 Oct 2013A few weeks ago we brought you news of a one-off Mustang Cobra Jet that Ford was donating to charity. The car was set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now that auction has taken place, bringing in an impressive $200,000 for MS research.
That's a lot of zeros for a Mustang, much less one you can't even drive on the street. But the unique pony car, bearing serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1, packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, competition gearbox, wheelie bar, roll cage... all you could want, in short, in a turn-key drag racer. And all that for a good cause.
Tanner Foust gets eponymous hotted-up Ford Focus ST from Cobb Tuning
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Racer and Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust has partnered up with Cobb Tuning to create a special-edition Ford Focus ST. The limited-edition hatches will come packing a reflashed ECU, special intercooler, tweaked intake and freer-flowing exhaust for up to 20 percent more power than the stock creation. Cobb says that the changes should push the final dyno figure to above 300 horsepower. Buyers can also expect to find special carbon fiber aerodynamic bits on board along with a new grille, graphics and wheels. Cobb hasn't released pricing on this Tanner Foust Edition Ford Focus ST as of yet, but you can bet the whole kit won't be cheap.
Fortunately, the company will sell you bits and pieces from the overall package for your Ford, and word has it engineers are also whipping up a Foust Fiesta ST. Look for Cobb's Focus ST website to go live next month, complete with accurate specs and pricing. Until then, enjoy clicking through the gallery here.
