Excellent 1976 Ford Bronco Ranger Uncut LUBR. This Bronco is a daily driver that draws stares and thumbs up wherever it goes. You can't go into the supermarket without someone crawling around it or asking about it. Spends 99% of its time with the top off in the garage. It is not a frame off but has been totally redone and gone through. Drives straight at speed and with hands off the wheel (it is almost 40 years old though) power steering and power brakes. The body was stripped to bare metal and two or three small rust spots replaced with new metal. The entire tub and bed was shot with Raptor as well as the underneath of the hood and engine compartment. New 3 1/2" lift with new springs, leafs and shocks from Bronco Graveyard as well as new steering stabilizer. Brand new Warn hubs and U joints. Paint is less than a year old in PPG Medium Blue Poly with Whimbelton White top and grill. Original 302 Engine was replaced due to cracked freezing block at 72,000 miles with a Hi Po 289 from a 66 Mustang. Engine has Holley carb Edelbrock manifold and headers which are all less than one year old. Also a brand new 2 into 1 exhaust from headers back was just installed also. Nice quiet rumble without the obnoxious drone. Interior has new carpet, trim, seat covers, door panels, locks. Also a stereo with Aux input four Rockford Fosgate 6x9s and two Subwoofer behind the rear bench seat. The C4 tranny shifts smooth and no leaks. This Bronco has been used for fun and show not four wheeling as I have two 4x4's for that. Spends most of the sitting in the garage waiting for nice days. All gauges work (replacement temp) and turn signals. Heater is strong and all door and windows have brand new felts and weatherstrip. New windshield with no chips and new body trim and most lenses.. This rig also comes with two sets of tires and rims, white spokes with 31x10.50 x 15 mudders and 30x9.50x15 at's with mags. The truck no longer has 6pt, only 4pt cage, kid too tall (6'9"). new dash pad and fully insulated top and padded full carpet for noise deadening. This is not a trailer queen or show Bronco but instead a fun great looking rig that will only appreciate in value. Kids are off to college so time for a new dad only toy. Some original owner paperwork and tags. A little mud/dirt in some of the pictures

2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Up until now, it's been some years since I managed to get behind the wheel of the hot Mustangs tuned by the folks at Roush Performance. My memories of those vehicles are fond, as the Roush up-fits usually make for better-driving examples of the iconic Ford pony, with better-tuned suspensions, excellent short-shift kits and, of course, huge additions of power. The wake-your-neighbors aural characteristics of these cars have been nothing short of outstanding, too.
But in the years since my last experience with the Roush formula, Ford's own development team has churned out some pretty potent 'Stangs. We currently live in a world where the Blue Oval will sell you a Mustang with 662 horsepower from the factory, and the recently departed Boss 302 remains one of the best Mustangs - and best sports coupes - the Autoblog crew has ever driven.
So with great-driving and hugely powerful Mustangs coming straight off the line at Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant, does the Roush package still offer that extra special something to make it stand out? I spent a week with a Stage 3 coupe to find out.
Ford dissects the heart of the 2015 Mustang, its engine range
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Happy Mustang Day. Are you tired of hearing about the 2015 Ford Mustang yet? No? Good, here's a bunch of mechanical data on Ford's sixth-gen muscle car, along with cutaways of the GT's 5.0-liter V8 and the new 2.3-liter, EcoBoost four-cylinder shown above. We also have a smattering of info on the Stang's updated transmissions and an exploded-parts-diagram view of its all-new independent rear suspension.
Ford is set to make waves offering the Mustang with a turbo for the firs time since the small-volume SVO of the 1980s. Displacing 2.3 liters, the engine's twin-scroll turbo should help the four-cylinder turn out a projected 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, while also returning the best fuel economy in the Mustang's engine lineup. As we said in our Deep Dive, the EcoBoost will be slotted in as a premium engine, above the 3.7-liter V6 but below the 5.0-liter V8.
Speaking of that high-revving eight-cylinder, it's receiving a new cylinder head with high-flow ports. The intake and exhaust valves are larger and the cams have been replaced, among other tweaks. It should rev even higher thanks to a rebalanced crankshaft and forged connecting rods. Ford is still claiming a projected 420 hp and 390 lb-ft, although as many of the changes for the 2015's V8 come from the 2013 Boss 302, we're going to assume there's some sandbagging at work.
Watch this awesome R/C car chase scene made with cardboard and glue
Fri, 22 Feb 2013It never ceases to amaze us how much video production talent you can find on YouTube, especially when considering movies like Battleship actually exist on the silver screen. It's even better, of course, when cars are involved, which is why we can't stop watching this car chase between a pair of radio controlled Ford Mustangs.
Racing through a detailed set built in the middle of a public street using just "cardboard, hot glue and spray paint," this video is possibly even greater than The Greatest R/C Car Chase Ever that we saw last year. With the exception of a fruit stand and/or a plate-glass window being carried across the street, this has all the makings of a classic cliché chase scene.
Scroll down to watch the scaled-down action ensue as well as the full-scale conclusion.
