I am selling my dads ford bronco11 that he purchased new. He passed away and I have no need for the car. He meticulously took care of this car since new. It has hardly ever been outside in the weather as he stored it inside. He had clear seat covers on the seats all these years and that is why the interior is like brand new. He never smoked in it as he was not a smoker. Everything works on the car as I just put a new battery and starter in it as they were in need of repair. The air works but I will have to get it recharged as it has been in storage for the last year and not in use. 73000+ miles is the exact mileage on the car. The paint is like new with only 1 nick in the door which I am sure a dent repair man could fix easily. Any questions you may have please call my husband on the following number as I am not to acqlimated to automobiles. I will miss this little car and I hope it goes to a good family and somebody will enjoy it. Debbie( 903-216-4376 Tim)

Ford Explorer is America's new favorite police car
Mon, 24 Mar 2014There is a new vehicle that you should keep an eye out for when you're going a little too fast down the Interstate. Ford's Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility was the bestselling new law enforcement model in the country last year, and signs show that won't be changing anytime soon.
Ford sold 14,086 Interceptor Utilities in 2013, up 140% from the year before, and 10,897 Interceptor Sedans, up 31%, according to USA Today. Overall, the brand's police sales were up 48 percent, and they were enough to boost the company's law enforcement vehicle market share by 9 points to nearly 50 percent.
The success comes just a few years after it made the decision to finally retire the long-serving Crown Victoria-based cruiser for two more modern vehicles. "We had to reinvent the category," said Chris Terry of Ford Communications to Autoblog. The automaker had to convince police departments that a unibody chassis without a V8 could perform better than a model that had been a law enforcement staple for years.
Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.
Ford recalls 422,000 SUVs for rear view camera display that may fail
Thu, May 18 2023WASHINGTON — Ford is recalling 422,000 sport utility vehicles in the U.S. because the video output may fail, preventing the rear view camera image from displaying. The recall covers 2020 through 2023 Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair SUVs with a 360-degree camera. The recall expands and replaces prior Ford callbacks for the same issue in 2021 and 2023. Ford last year updated the image processing module (IPMB) software in an effort to address the issue. Ford said on Thursday it is "working together with suppliers to identify root cause and provide the correct remedy as quickly as possible". The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the loss of the rear view camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 26. Last year, Ford said it had reports of 17 minor crashes relating to the recall issue and more than 2,100 warranty reports but no reports of injuries. The NHTSA in August 2021 opened an investigation after Ford in 2020 recalled 620,246 vehicles for another rear camera issue. The investigation is reviewing if Ford had recalled the vehicles in a timely fashion and if it recalled enough vehicles. Recalls Ford Lincoln Crossover SUV
