Car is all original and very clean.  Only 48,000 miles.

I bought it from the second owner who had it for 7 years. This is becoming a more and more desired model given they’re one of the more bullet proof, dependable Ferraris and are relatively easy to work on (engine doesn’t need to be removed for services); not to mention they’re rare.

Hard to beat the sound, the style, the handling……I get questions/looks every place I take it.

·         Original Red (Corso Rosso) exterior and black (Nero) leather interior

·         Original paint – never touched up.  Has some minor / few rock chips on the aluminum front hood deck fin….again, very minor but wanted to fully disclose.

·         Runs / starts extremely well. Sounds incredible. Handling is great.

·         Had the "major" Ferrari service 7,000 miles ago (full tune up, water pump, fuel filters, timing belts, hoses, and more) so wont need another major until 60k

·         Interior very nice....seats flawless, dash flawless, all electronics work

·         AC blows cold, heater blows hot

·         Has Denon AM/FM cassette stereo system with 6 disc changer

·         Includes full size spare with matching OEM wheel

·         Full Ferrari took kit

·         Service records; parts records

·         Owners manual, Shop manual, Parts manual

·         Extra oil filter

·         Tonneau cover that covers the interior area

·         Beverly Hills custom fit full car cover

·         Upgraded aluminum pedals

·         Convertible top is perfect and rear window is clear (not yellowed)

·         Includes boot for when top is down

·         Michelin TRX tires have about 400 miles on them

·         I just installed a new and redesigned GT Car Parts fuesebox.  The boxes in the 328, 308, Mondials and some others are the one weakness in these cars.  It was showing signs of corrosion and delamination, so I replaced.

·         Also installed a new Optima Red Top battery - the best I could get.

·         And, I have two new cam belts and two new Hill Engineering tensioner bearings - the key maintenance items on these machines.  These were just replaced 7,000 miles ago......but due to time, could be installed.  Its very easy to do and involves only removing the right rear wheel - the engines in the Mondials do not need to be removed for services.  If I find some time in the near future, I will do it.....but with travel and family, unlikely.  I can provide a tutorial with pictures if needed.

So this car is top notch and ready to drive....needs not a thing.  NADA average retail is $34,500 and high retail is $39,900 – before any low mileage adjust.  Car needs nothing at all. Title is clear and clean with no liens.

Potential for PARTIAL trades plus cash.  Welcome to bring a mechanic by.  Welcome to view the car in person before bidding/buying.  Test drives offered with cash/cashiers check in hand.

Immediate $500 pay pal deposit due upon winning bid.  I will work with shippers.  If no bids are received during listing, I reserve right to end the listing early since I will be offering it locally to some club members and co-workers.  I also have an offer from a local dealer on taking a vehicle plus cash from him, which I might entertain.

Exotic cars caught on video racing on neighborhood streets in Beverly Hills

Thu, Sep 17 2015

A pair of supercars caught on camera racing around a quiet Beverly Hills neighborhood last week has residents fearing for their safety. The video shows a white Porsche 911 and a yellow Ferrari LaFerrari as they clipped parked cars and blew through stop signs while residents of the upscale community watched in horror. Freelance cameraman Jacob Rogers shot the video of the supercar shenanigans. He later confronted a man outside the house where the Ferrari eventually parked. He asked the man if he cared that he was endangering people's lives. The man became combative and claimed he had diplomatic immunity. "He told me verbatim, 'I could have you killed and get away with it,'" Rogers told NBC Los Angeles. "I told him, 'the press is allowed to be here on the sidewalk on a public street.' He said, '(Expletive) America' and threw a cigarette at me." The Ferrari's plates are from the oil-rich country of Qatar. The race ended with the Ferrari pulling into the driveway of a $45,000-per-month rental home, its engine compartment smoking. Police can be seen arriving in the neighborhood. Los Angeles police are currently investigating the incident. Even though the LaFerrari was still smoking when police arrived they haven't filed charges because no officer witnessed the illegal activities. When police approached the owner of the vehicle he denied doing anything illegal and again claimed diplomatic immunity. Police told NBC they are in contact with the State Department about the man's diplomatic status and the legality of the cars in the neighborhood. Beverly Hills isn't the only swanky zip code plague by hotshot supercar owners. Some of the most expensive homes in London can be found In the Knightsbridge neighborhood - and some of the most expensive cars as well. This summer, the local council of Knightsbridge and nearby Chelsea began exploring a Public Space Protection Order that would fine drivers who rev their engines, drag race on residential streets or blare music, according to Reuters UK. Ferrari to debut new twin-turbo California in the spring

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

Ferrari hadn't made a turbocharged engine since the F40 ended its production cycle in 1992. But that all changed when it helped Maserati develop its new 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8. That turbo engine has so far been shoehorned into the Quattroporte, along with its 3.0-liter V6 cousin that also powers the smaller Ghibli. But soon it'll wear the Prancing Horse badge as further details emerge on the next-generation California.
Set to arrive in time for the spring (likely to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March), the new California will reportedly ditch its naturally-aspirated V8 in favor of a reworked version of the Quattroporte's twin-turbo unit, which at 523 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque is already considerably more muscular than the current California's 483 hp and 372 lb-ft.
The new California will likely be closely based on the outgoing model, but benefit from revised aluminum sheetmetal and an updated cabin with a new infotainment system - two areas in which the current model has scored low marks.

Ferrari design challenge looks for the supercar of 2040

Mon, Dec 7 2015

Ferrari launched a design contest to imagine what one of its cars might look like in 2040. Some 50 schools entered from around the world, and now that list has been whittled down to four. The finalists are: the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Hongik University in Korea, Hochschule Pforzheim in Germany, and the ISD-Rubika in France. Each school was invited to prepare three designs and spent the last year preparing them for final evaluation. The total of 12 entries are presented here from multiple angles in the gallery above. They range from the realistic to the fantastic, and while some were rendered in black, silver, or white, naturally most were imagined in the marque's signature red. The point in showing them to you is that the public gets to vote for their favorite. The winner will be awarded the Premio Speciale by popular choice. The Gran Premio, however, will be selected by a jury that includes Sebastian Vettel, Paolo Pininfarina, and musician-collectors Jay Kay (frontman of Jamiroquai), and Nick Mason (of Pink Floyd fame). The winners will be named on January 15, so cast your vote now on the dedicated Facebook page. What will the Ferraris of 2040 be like? The Top Design School Challenge enters its final phase Maranello, 4 December 2015 – What seemed like the wildest science fiction in the days of Jules Verne has been more than surpassed by modern invention. Maybe in a quarter of a century's time, we'll be saying the same about a slew of present-day projects that endeavour to envisage the Ferraris of the future. We are talking, of course, about the 12 models to have reached the finals of the Ferrari Top Design School Challenge. Also run in 2005 and 2012, this is the third outing for a competition in which the world's most prestigious design institutes vie for supremacy. Around 50 schools were considered in the first round and this number was then whittled to eight before four third-level institutes (spread across three continents) were selected as finalists.
