ABSOLUTLY STUNNING 1985 FERARRI MONDIAL 2+2 (FOUR SEATER) CABRIOLET.  FERRARI RED WITH TAN LEATHER INTERIOR.  RUST FREE AND STOCK.  SINCE I'VE PURCHASED THE CAR IT'S BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE GARAGE FOR SUNNY DAY CRUISES OR DRIVE WAY DETAIL ONLY.  NO RAIN OR DIRTY ROAD DRIVING.  THOUGH SLOW AND FINICKY SWITCHES THE ELECTRIC WINDOWS OPERATE.  THOUGH THE ROOF SHOWS SOME AGE I DOUBT IT LEAKS, BUT DRIVING THIS BEAUTY WITH THE TOP UP OR IN BAD WEATHER IS BORDERLINE SINFUL.  I'VE RECENTLY UPGRADED THE ROOF LATCHES TO RON F TOGGLES.  NOT SURE WHEN THE LAST FULL SERVICE WAS DONE, BUT I AM CHECKING INTO THAT.  THOUGH IF YOU DID WANT TO REPLACE THE TIMING BELTS IT COULD BE DONE WITHOUT REMOVING THE ENGINE IN THIS MODEL FERRARI.  I DON'T THINK THE A/C BLOWS AS COLD AS IT SHOULD, BUT WITH THE TOP DOWN NOT SURE YOU'D HAVE MUCH USE FOR IT.  THE MONDAIL IS OFTEN REFERRED TO AS THE BEST ENRTY LEVEL FERRARI AND HAS A TIGHTLY KNIT FOLLOWING WITH TREMENDOUS RESOURCES FOR OWNERS.  ODOMETER READS ABOUT 56,000 MILES BUT EXPECT THAT TO INCREASE SOME AS I JUST HAVE TO ENJOY A FEW MORE CRUISES BEFORE SAYING GOODBYE.

I ALSO HAVE THE CAR FOR SALE LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END AUCTION EARLY.

Ferrari 458 Speciale with aftermarket exhaust screams

Mon, Mar 7 2016

Take an already amazing Ferrari 458 Speciale, add an aftermarket exhaust capable of shooting flames, and unleash the coupe in a tunnel to maximize its sonic glory. This video uses that simple formula, and the result sounds spectacular. According to the YouTube description, the Ferrari has a system from the company Frequency Intelligent Exhaust, and the new pipes make the high-revving V8 scream. The little jets of flame that come out the back only sweeten the experience. The video lets you hear these wonderful pipes while the 458 is stationary and on the move. From inside, the sound is surprisingly subdued when the driver doesn't have the throttle against the floor. It seems like you could actually cruise around without needing earplugs but still enjoy the superb noise when desired. Related Video:

Ferrari to be spun off from Fiat Chrysler

Wed, 29 Oct 2014

The recently merged Fiat Chrysler Automobiles empire has ambitious plans for growth, and it's going to need some big bucks in its coffers in order to enact them. Part of that cash injection is coming from the floating of its IPO on the New York Stock Exchange, but now FCA has announced a further capital campaign to be based on the enormous asset that is Ferrari.
FCA's board of directors has just approved the separation of Ferrari from the rest of the group as a separate entity. Once that separation is complete, Ferrari will put 10 percent of its shares on the stock market "in the United States and possibly a European exchange" as well.
This isn't the first time that the idea of a Ferrari IPO has been raised. Sergio Marchionne, chief executive of Chrysler, Fiat and Ferrari (pictured above), first raised the idea four years ago. Former Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo nixed the idea, but now that he's been discharged, it appears there's nothing to get in the way of Marchionne's desires.

Ferrari believes F1 title is still possible

Tue, May 31 2016

Ferrari believes the changing shape of the Formula 1 championship battle, with points leader Nico Rosberg hitting a difficult patch, means its own title hopes are far from over. Despite more frustrations at the Monaco Grand Prix, where a poor qualifying showing left its drivers unable to fight for the win, both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen remain within striking distance of the leading Mercedes driver. Raikkonen is 45 points behind Rosberg - and only five behind Daniel Ricciardo - while Vettel is just one point further back. With the title momentum appearing to have shifted in recent weeks as Rosberg's winning streak has come to an end, team boss Maurizio Arrivabene believes the story of the championship this year has yet to be settled, as he predicted some 'interesting' times ahead. When asked if he feared the title was slipping away, he said: "No way. You saw Ricciardo here was quite good, and Hamilton is coming back. "So what we have to do is to keep our concentration, to keep focus, concentrate and look forward. This championship is going to be quite interesting I think." Qualifying frustration Arrivabene thinks that key to Ferrari's campaign going forward is in getting to the bottom of what is going wrong with qualifying, as again the team was slower in Q3 than in Q1. "I don't want to find any excuses, but we were not good enough in Barcelona in Q3 and it has happened also here - and we paid the price during the race," added Arrivabene. "It was a heavy price to pay, but I take the lesson that we need to really understand where the problem is. "If you compare Q1, it was more or less similar. Here in Q1 we were 1m14.1s and were slower in Q3. So there is the problem that we have to look for."Related Video: This article by Jonathan Noble originally appeared on Motorsport.com.
