Excellent example of the beautiful 1989 Ferrari Mondial T Cabriolet. Low Mileage car that has been very well
maintained since new with factory books and extensive service records. The body is nice and straight with its
original paint. The interior is also in excellent shape for its age. The original carpets are showing a bit of age
but overall still in good condition. There is no shrinkage in the dash at all. All gauges, lights, signals etc
works as they should. The soft top and boot covers are also in great condition as you can see in the pictures.
This Mondial T has extensive service record going back to almost new with just completed 30k major belt service
which include full clutch kit replacement along with new fuel pressure regulators and a new battery. Full brake job
was done several years ago but only driven about 1000 miles since. Engine and trunk compartments are very tidy and
comes with factory jack roll and books. The picture shows it has a Clarion stereo head unit but now has been
replaced back with Alpine head units that previously came with the car.

Ferrari lawsuit argues Italian sports charity should drop Purosangue name
Mon, Feb 3 2020Ferrari announced plans for its first SUV back in 2018 by trotting out the name Purosangue, which translates loosely to “thoroughbred” or literally to “pure blood.” Only one problem: ThereÂ’s a tiny anti-doping sports charity active in Italy and Africa that already claims that name. No problem, Ferrari says. The Financial Times reports the famous Italian brand has opted to sue the nonprofit Purosangue Foundation, claiming that its registration should be removed because of a lack of use over the past five years. The matter will be heard in a court in Bologna on March 5. A lawyer representing the nonprofit pro-bono told FT “This is David versus Goliath” and said the brand has been in constant use, including a partnership to produce branded sneakers and clothing with Adidas, which is a sponsor of the charity. A Ferrari spokesman said the company does not comment on pending litigation. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Purosangue Foundation describes itself as an “international solidarity running project” that has been active since 2011 to promote clean and social sports. It also operates training camps in Kenya, Mozambique and Italy, and it runs projects to conduct health check-ups for the elderly and send running shoes to Africa. The organization is registered in London with the UK Charities Commission. “I am an athlete, used to getting up at 4:30 a.m. to train, so I have a certain mentality,” Max Monteforte, one of the nonprofitÂ’s founders and running coaches, told FT. “I am not going to be scared off, even knowing that we are up against one of the most important brands in the world.” As for FerrariÂ’s version of the Purosangue, the SUV FUV, short for Ferrari Utility Vehicle, is expected to launch in 2022 or 2023. ItÂ’ll be built on a modular platform shared with other front-engined cars planned as part of CEO Louis CamilleriÂ’s three-year, 15-new-product roadmap. Reports have suggested it will offer a height-adjustable suspension and a plug-in hybrid powertrain using a new, twin-turbo V6, with a pure-combustion V12 likely to serve as the flagship. Ferrari hasnÂ’t said much about its first high-riding ‘ute, and all weÂ’ve seen of it so far was footage of a mule version back in 2018.
Ferrari makes its return to Need For Speed: Rivals in a big way
Thu, 14 Nov 2013With all the excitement over Forza Motorsport 5 and Gran Turismo 6, it's easy to forget that there's another racing game from an even older franchise coming out. The latest Need For Speed installment, Rivals, is set to hit stores November 15 (this Friday) for the Playstation 4, November 19 for PS3 and XBox 360, and November 22 for the XBox One. As part of the run up to the launch, we have a great look at all the new Ferrari content for the new title, which marks only the second time the Italian marque has been in an NFS game.
The last time we saw a prancing horse in Need For Speed was 2009's Shift, when we got ten models as part of a paid, downloadable pack. In anticipation of Ferrari's return to the series, we've got a gallery of images of some of the featured models, like the F12 Berlinetta (which we've shown you before), the FF, the Enzo, the 599 GTO and both the 458 Italia and Spider. All of which are bound to make for phenomenal tools for escaping the virtual cops.
We'll have a more extensive look at Need For Speed: Rivals in the near future, but until then, have a look at the game's Ferrari content up top.
1962 Ferrari 250 GTO auctioned for a record $48 million
Sun, Aug 26 2018As anticipated, the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO chassis number 3413 made some serious money at the RM Sotheby's auction at Pebble Beach. As the hammer came down at $48.2 million, the Ferrari became the most valuable car ever sold at auction; it made the Goldeneye Aston Martin DB5 look like a used DB7 in comparison. Last night, racing legend Derek Bell drove the Ferrari onstage, and bidding was opened at a breathtaking $35 million. Three bidders were involved in the sale, and the complete sum including fees came to $48,405,000. The auction house knew it was going to be expensive, having estimated the car at more than $45 million in June. It handsomely topped an earlier Ferrari 250 GTO record of $38 million. The Ferrari, the third one out of a 36-car production run and complete with significant racing history, has a numbers-matching powertrain and a Scaglietti-built Series II body. It has been with its previous owner since 2000, and the last time it was sold it commanded $7 million. The $40-million bump in value is simply incredible, Ferrari 250 GTO or not. And all this time the car hasn't just sat, appreciating; it has been seen in numerous classic events, in actual use.
