Hi, up for sale is the last one of our cars.  This is a 1977 mustang cobra.  Ok, what's wrong: needs inner door seals, does not leak but haven't been replaced.  What's right: interior is very nice.  New leaf springs and shackles, new speed clutch cable, new vynil dash, new (used) dash cluster. (Kept original speedometer) New plugs, filter. New front power steering rack, new paint, new(used) grill.  See pics.  Other stuff I am sure just can't remember.  Please ask questions.  Car is a four speed manual, shifts smooth, clutch is a speed clutch so it seems stiff, not a lot.  Had transmission checked is fine. It has an after market radio should be changed.  Everything works, brakes, horn, lights etc.  Oh I and have the title you don't need one in ct. After 25 years but I asked for the old one because they just throw them away.  Also I have the original proof plate that came with the car to prove it is a cobra.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs.  Car is sold as is where as.  I do not sell junk I drive this car every day weather permitting.  Selling due to Health reasons.  I am also listing this private and reserve the right to pull E-bay add if reserve is not met.  Thanks and Good luck bidding.

Ferrari threatens to quit F1 over new engine regulations

Fri, Nov 3 2017

This past week, the FIA and Liberty Media, the group that currently owns F1, announced a plan to shake up the sport's engine regulations in 2021. The new rules are intended to make things a bit more exciting, though not everyone seems to be on board. Ferrari and FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne fired back, saying that the Italian automaker isn't interested in staying if the regulations stray too far from their current course. According to Bloomberg, Marchionne said that Ferrari will only stay if there is "a set of circumstances, the results of which are beneficial for the maintenance of the brand in the marketplace and for strengthening the unique position of Ferrari." Ferrari occupies a special and unique place in the sport. It's the only team to have competed in the sport since it officially became Formula 1 back in 1950. The team even has certain veto powers not granted to any other team. No other team has more wins or more championships. It could be argued that F1 needs Ferrari more than Ferrari needs F1. If this all sounds familiar, that's because it is. It seems that every time the rules get changed, Ferrari throws up its hands and threatens to walk if things don't go its way. It may sound like whining, but Ferrari has a point. Part of what makes F1 special and different from sports like IndyCar and NASCAR is that each team builds its own cars from the ground up. Ferrari actually agrees with the cost-cutting measures but is opposed to any changes that take away from "powertrain uniqueness." Basically, Ferrari want each engine and hybrid unit to be unique. In the end, Ferrari is more likely than not to stay in F1. The team's bosses will use their weight to sway things in a direction that benefits them because they believe what's good for Ferrari is good for the sport. Ferrari Driver Academy heads to Florida for the winter

Sat, 30 Nov 2013

Retirees and Girls Gone Wild camera crews aren't the only ones who go to Florida for the winter. So is a contingent of aspiring formula racing drivers taking part in the new Florida Winter Series being set up by the Ferrari Driver Academy.
The program is being set up in response to a lack of suitable weather at circuits in Europe, which would otherwise keep rising stars in formula racing from honing their skills during the off-season. Toyota runs an off-season series in New Zealand, but Ferrari is heading to the most southern of these United States to give its prodigies some much-needed track time.
Set up as more of a training program than a competitive championship, the FDA Florida Winter Series is based around a field of 15 aspiring drivers piloting the Formula Abarth-spec Tatuus FA010B, with a 195-horsepower engine furnished by Fiat Powertrain Technologies and an engineer for every three cars in the series.

1990 Riva 32 speedboat is a 780 hp seagoing Ferrari

Tue, May 3 2016

This is a 1990 Riva Ferrari 32, and it's going up for auction later this month in Monaco. The vessel resulted from a collaboration between the automaker and Italian shipyard Riva – which has also provided the basis for classic wooden speedboats for the founder of Lamborghini and the designer of McLarens. The Ferrari-influenced craft measures 32 feet in length with a pair of V8 engines under the aft deck capable of propelling it up to 60 miles per hour. Rather than make a marine version of one of its road-going engines, as Lamborghini has, the Riva Ferrari was powered by Vulcano 400 marine engines each displacing 8.0 liters and good for 390 horsepower. Only 40 examples were ever made, of which this is the 28th. RM Sotheby's anticipates it will fetch upwards of $200,000 when the gavel drops at Le Sporting in Monte Carlo, which is about what you'd pay for a California T these days. Matching red Wayfarers and gold Rolex not included.
