Jay Leno's Garage kicks off season 2 Wednesday

A few days ago, we wrote about the upcoming season of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Now the second season of Jay Leno's Garage is nearly here with a full 12-episode run. The previous season did well. The first episode was CNBC's most-watched original series ever, with 916,000 viewers tuning in when it aired in early October. This content is hosted by a third party. Nick Cannon is one of the stars in this week's episode, and he shows off his Ferrari California – a car which Cannon likes to drive at cruising speeds. The other guests during the second season include actor-turned-racecar-driver Patrick Dempsey, comedians Tim Allen and Dan Aykroyd, musician Brad Paisley, and Caitlyn and Kendall Jenner, according to TVNewser. Here's how wildly expensive it is to participate in F1

The cost of competing in Formula One racing is extremely high. Not in the physical and lifestyle sense, although that too takes a major toll on each team and driver, but in a literal hand-over-the-cash sense. Each F1 team pays hundreds of thousands of dollars to enter, plus a fee for every single point the team earned in the previous season. Motorsport.com recently detailed just how absurdly pricey entering the F1 field is. According to the piece, the price of entry goes up each year due to the U.S. Consumer Price Index. For 2019, the entry fee is $546,133, and it doesn't stop there. There are additional dues required of each team based on where the team finished in the previous season. Interestingly, the winners pay more. For example, Mercedes-Benz, the constructor champion for the past five years, must pay $6,553 per point it scored in 2018. Touring Superleggera Berlinetta Lusso makes us swoon [w/video]

For the past three years, we've been fortunate enough to have the folks at Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera bring something very special to the Geneva Motor Show: the Alfa Romeo 8C-based Disco Volante. First, it showed up in red (twice), and then last year, arrived in a very stunning shade of green. If we're honest, we were kind of hoping there'd be a further evolution of the Disco on display at this year's show, but then Touring unveiled the beauty you see here. Meet the Ferrari F12-based Berlinetta Lusso. What we really like about the Berlinetta Lusso is how closely it resembles the F12 on which its based, but with some rough edges smoothed out. Despite looking similar, almost the entire body is new, with smoother creases and more retro-inspired design cues. Honestly, to our eyes, it looks better than the Prancing Horse's original. Mechanically, it's pretty much all F12 underneath, right down to the screaming 6.3-liter V12 with 703 horsepower. We certainly don't have any complaints about that.
