I am proud and sad at the same time to offer this fine 2008 Ferrari Spider F1 in Corsa Red with Beige Leather. I purchased this awesome sports car, possibly going through my mid- life crisis. I looked for a long time to find the right car at the right price until I found this car. What a beautiful machine. I have owned many cars over the years, but none that have given me the thrill, or got the looks and thumbs up from people passing or driving by that this spectacular car has. I can't even begin to tell you how many people have asked to get a picture taken with this car. I've even have people ask to pay to take a ride in it. What a thrill!! Now unfortunately it is time to sell this great sports car. My loss can be your gain. This fine automobile has been garage kept and I have never even taken it out in the rain. This car was serviced less than 900 miles ago by Ferrari where they went over this car from head to toe. No expense was spared as the total bill for the service was $20,597. You can certainly buy this car with confidence. I stop short to say this car is flawless, because if you look long and hard enough you can find a flaw even with a new car. However I challenge anyone to find a cleaner or nicer 2008 Ferrari F1 Spider. It is drop dead Gorgeous!!!

Here are some of the particulars: The list price was $255,867.00. Options include, Daytona Style Seats, Electrically Operated Seats, Red Brake Calipers, Scuderia Ferrari Shields, Radio Navi System + Bluetooth, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Roll Bar Upholstery Colour, Leather Upholstered Rear Bench, High Power HiFi with Subwoofer, Special Stitching. All of these items are listed on the window sticker as options. I do have the window sticker along with the books and extra key. I also have the VIP book with actual pictures of this car as it is being built in the factory from beginning to end (pretty cool). This car has no paintwork, has never been in an accident and has a clean car fax. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, this is the one for you. I agree the miles are a bit high but when you're driving this baby, or have it parked in front of your house, no one will know unless you tell them. And of course the price is right! This car looks the part of a 5,000 mile car. The only thing I can say negative about this car is the rear window is a little flawed from putting the top done, but easy to replace if you feel it bothers you.

I feel this car is priced right… so serious inquiries only and no low balls please. If you have any doubts about the miles, look for something else. I want the person that buys this car to be as happy about their purchase as I was when I bought it, and I still am. I do want to find a good home for this car, however I am not desperate and won't give it away. I just want a fair price for me as well as you. Any serious inquiries can reach me at 215-669-7161. Thank You, Tony

Michael Schumacher’s championship 2002 Ferrari F2002 set for auction

Wed, Jun 19 2019

RM Sotheby's November auction in Abu Dhabi might still be months away, but Formula 1 just gave racing fans a huge reason to get excited for the event now. F1 and Sotheby's announced 10 early entries for the auction, and the most special of the bunch is the 2002 Ferrari F2002, Michael Schumacher's championship-winning race car. Schumacher dominated the field throughout the 2002 F1 season by finishing first or second in every race. That season, he won in Australia, Brazil, San Marino, Spain, Austria, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Belgium and Japan. Schumacher didn't use this exact car, chassis No. 219, for every race, but it is the vehicle he was driving when he won at the French Grand Prix, where he secured his fifth drivers' championship title (his teammate Rubens Barrichello took second but had about half as many points as Schumacher). Ferrari, having won all but two races that season, also took the constructors' championship that year. After its time in competitive racing, 219 was used as a test car for the remainder of the 2002 season before eventually retiring the next season. Since then, it has been owned by various private collectors. The F2002 was an absolute force of a machine. It used a 299.66-cc 90-degree V10 that made 823 horsepower at 17,800 rpm that paired with a fused titanium seven-speed gearbox. The car's structure was a honeycomb and carbon-fiber composite monocoque. Steering was mechanical power-assisted rack-and-pinion. It also had carbon-ceramic composite brakes and a suspension setup with independent push-rods, twin wishbones, torsion bar springs and telescopic shock absorbers. So how valuable is a car with this much history? Well, a 2013 Gooding & Company auction at Pebble Beach offered F2002 chassis No. 220, and it sold for $2,255,000. We expect this car to easily surpass that number. However much it sells for, RM Sotheby's says "a percentage of proceeds" will go to the Keep Fighting Foundation, which is inspired by Schumacher. Mark the date on your calendar: November 30, 2019.

Race Recap: 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix is racing like you dream about

Sun, 06 Apr 2014

Well. What a race.
The first line of last year's Bahrain Grand Prix recap was, "The sand, the wind, the penalties, the contact and the one crash - all of them collided to make the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix a surprise affair from day to day and lap to lap." This year the sand stayed mostly off the track and the wind limited its gusts to the back side around Turn 11, but everything else carried over into this 2014 F1 season.
There were penalties issued, penalties given, contact from the first lap and an astonishing crash that made the race even more exciting than it already was. Or rather, two races, because the Mercedes AMG Petronas cars are so good - and both their drivers are so good - that every pilot is still racing for third unless one of The Silver Arrows trips up. But even the race for third was riveting. As well as that for fourth, fifth, sixth, and every position back to about eleventh, all through the race. At times it seemed like the producers were so unused to having to follow actual on-track passing that they weren't sure which camera to switch to; there was so much action for all 57 laps, sometimes two or three passing moves on the same lap to go along with the close racing throughout, that we saw more passes in replays than live.

One more LaFerrari will be built to benefit Italian earthquake victims

Wed, Aug 31 2016

Today, Ferrari Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne announced that the company was planning to build one more Ferrari LaFerrari coupe in order to raise money for victims of the earthquake that struck central Italy last week, killing nearly 300 people. Production of the car officially ended in 2015, with 499 examples produced, though preparations for the LaFerrari Spider are in the works. The 500th LaFerrari will be auctioned off, though no word on when the car will go on sale. The lucky owner will take home the most powerful and expensive road-car the Italian automaker has ever produced. The LaFerrari, which sold for $1.3 million, makes 949 horsepower from its V12 hybrid system. It remains, and mostly likely will remain for quite some time, one of the quickest vehicles on the planet.
