Jay Leno's Garage kicks off season 2 Wednesday
Mon, Jun 13 2016A few days ago, we wrote about the upcoming season of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Now the second season of Jay Leno's Garage is nearly here with a full 12-episode run. The previous season did well. The first episode was CNBC's most-watched original series ever, with 916,000 viewers tuning in when it aired in early October. This content is hosted by a third party. Nick Cannon is one of the stars in this week's episode, and he shows off his Ferrari California – a car which Cannon likes to drive at cruising speeds. The other guests during the second season include actor-turned-racecar-driver Patrick Dempsey, comedians Tim Allen and Dan Aykroyd, musician Brad Paisley, and Caitlyn and Kendall Jenner, according to TVNewser. Haas pens partnership with Ferrari
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Gene Haas is undertaking quite the initiative by starting his own Formula One team instead of simply buying an existing one. And he's making it even harder on himself by laudably insisting on quartering the operation at his home base in North Carolina. But to get onto the grid by 2016, he's going to need some help.
Fortunately that appears to be just what he's getting thanks to a new partnership with no less accomplished an outfit than Ferrari - which, despite not having won a championship since 2008, remains far and away the most successful team in the history of grand prix racing, with sixteen constructors' championships, fifteen drivers' titles and 221 grand prix victories to its name.
Haas Automation, the CNC machine manufacturer over which Gene Haas presides and which funds his various racing activities, has just signed a sponsorship deal with Scuderia Ferrari that has already seen the Haas logo appear on the F14 T that Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen drove in the British Grand Prix this past weekend. More than a sponsor, Haas Automation has become an official supplier to the Maranello squad, but is expected to lead to even closer cooperation that will help get the American F1 team up and running in time for the 2016 world championship.
Full-camo Ferrari F12 M spied testing in Maranello
Thu, Nov 10 2016Going on five years old, the Ferrari F12 is due for a freshening. And so our spy photographers caught the next version of Ferrari's front-engine two-seater running around Maranello in full disguise. According to Autocar, the production version should appear at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Details at this point are scarce. In the photos you can see the large round brake lights behind the body coverings. They appear to be the same as those on the current F12, but don't count on that continuing through. As with the FF's evolution to the GTC4 Lusso, we expect some changes to the front and rear styling when the F12's suffix changes from Berlinetta to M. And with the GTC4 Lusso adopting a turbo V8, it's possible Ferrari will spread that option to the F12 M as well. But calm down, we're not expecting he V12 to go away. In fact, we expect it to get a power bump, similar to what we saw in the limited-edition F12 TdF, which puts out 769 horsepower, 39 more than the F12 Berlinetta. What we probably won't see in the upcoming F12 M is a hybrid powertain, despite the fact that all Ferraris are moving in that direction. That shift will happen with the F12's successor. Which leaves you plenty of time watch this video of the F12 M running around Maranello. Enjoy. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
