1998 FERRARI F355 SPIDER, showroom condition in a very rare and desirable color combination of Titanium metallic over dark red interior with a black top and contrasting red Ferrari-Brembo brake calipers. The optional titanium paint was only offered on later model 355 Ferrari F355 (e.g., not available 1995-1996) and this is one of only 10 F355's make with the color combination of Grigio Titanio and red leather.
Lots of upgrades including $10,000 spent on upgraded 3-PIECE custom HRE wheels with substantially wider front and rear tires, a sweet sounding Capristo exhaust, Momo steering wheel (original wheel included), MACarbon carbon fibre door sills as well as upgraded OEM Ferrari disks and brakes. The car also has clear bra installed. The car also comes with a Challenge grill installed and the original (painted) grill included in the sale.
The major service engine-out service was completed in March 2012 at 21,400 miles.
The car comes with the original manuals, toolkit as well as the original Ferrari car and wheel cover. It was meticulously maintained and garaged. The car was only been hand washed weekly and hand waxed every 3 months.
This is a stunning looking car that runs well. A great investment as the F355 is now at the bottom of its depreciation curve and, if you have been watching the market, they're now appreciating.
According to most all polls, the majority of Ferrari owners feel the F355 is the best looking of all the modern V8 Ferraris (360-430), at least until the $300,000 458.
Also important is the fact that this is a six speed. Ferrari is not making them anymore and you don't have to worry about a $14K hydraulic pump failing. There is NO comparison; the F1 in a 355 is not good.
Ferrari manufactured more than 13,000 360 Modenas while they produced just 2,664 F355 Spiders for the entire world. That's it. A total of just 2,664 Spiders. This rarity combined with its stellar reviews and that Formula 1 race car sound, assures the F355 of collector car status. It's not all that long ago Dinos were $30k. Now they're five to seven times that sum. Legendary racer Phil Hill said the F355 is one of the top ten Ferraris of all time.

BMW hires Ferrari chief engineer Fedeli
Wed, 08 Oct 2014There's going to be a little bit more Prancing Horse in some future BMWs because the Bavarian brand is hiring Ferrari chief engineer Roberto Fedeli to join the company in November. Fedeli's new position is still somewhat of a mystery though, and he reportedly might be lending his talents to the high performance M division or possibly even Rolls-Royce. When asked by Automotive News Europe, BMW said that it "currently can't say what his role will be."
Regardless of his new job, Fedeli was a big get for BMW because of his strong résumé. He has been with Ferrari since 1988 and led the engineering for the famous Italian automaker's vehicles since 2007. Fedeli tendered his resignation in September at around the same time that chairman Luca di Montezemolo announced his decision to leave the company. However, Ferrari told ANE that there was no connection between the two events.
Sebastian Vettel signs with Racing Point for the 2021 F1 season
Thu, Sep 10 2020LONDON — Four-time Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel will drive for Racing Point starting next season. The team, which will be renamed Aston Martin, announced the move Thursday, a day after driver Sergio Perez said he was on his way out. The team said Vettel has signed for the 2021 season “and beyond" but did not reveal the length of the contract. “The signing of Sebastian is a clear statement of the teamÂ’s ambition to establish itself as one of the most competitive names in the sport," the team said in a statement. “As a four-time world champion, Sebastian brings a fresh mindset to the team." One of the most successful drivers in F1, Vettel is leaving Ferrari at the end of this season after he was not offered a new contract. He will be replaced by McLaren driver Carlos Sainz at Ferrari next year. Vettel has won 53 grand prix races, a tally only surpassed by Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton. He won four consecutive titles with Red Bull from 2010-13 and joined Ferrari in 2015 with the aim to win another. But he never had a car really capable of challenging Mercedes during his stint with the Scuderia, where he lost his No. 1 status as teammate Charles Leclerc came to prominence. “ItÂ’s a new adventure for me with a truly legendary car company," Vettel said. “I have been impressed with the results the team has achieved this year, and I believe the future looks even brighter. I still have so much love for Formula One and my only motivation is to race at the front of the grid." Currently fourth in the constructors' standings, Racing Point was handed a 400,000 euro ($470,000) fine and docked 15 points last month for copying a Mercedes design for its brake ducts. The team, however, was allowed to continue to use the offending components this season. Racing PointÂ’s other driver is Lance Stroll, the son of co-owner Lawrence Stroll. Ferrari officially teases successor to Enzo throne
Fri, 14 Dec 2012You're looking at our best view yet of the upcoming successor to the Ferrari Enzo. Rumors kicking around the web insist the new reigning monarch of the Italian kingdom will carry the "F150" name when it bows, otherwise known as the Special Limited Series. Word has it Ferrari has focused all of its experience in Formula One to create the new model. According to the manufacturer's official online magazine, the new ultracar will boast a carbon fiber monocoque chassis built in "an almost handmade style" using four types of the composite. We aren't sure exactly what that means, but the design should keep weight to a minimum.
Power should come courtesy of an 800 horsepower V12 engine married to a HY-KERS system good for an additional 100 hp. Early estimates say the creation will tip the scales at under 3,000 pounds, which means the vehicle will be a performance marvel. Sounds like a party.
