1999 Ferrari 355 F1 Berlinetta. 32k Miles. VIN ZFFXR41A5X0114235.
For sale by private owner. CLEAR TITLE!
Exterior is Nurburgring Silver with factory shields and red brake calipers. Interior is black.
Transmission is the amazing F1 system.
This is a very well kept exotic - always garaged, never crashed, and never raced! Mechanically sound with good compression on all cylinders. Runs like new and is always an eye-catcher. Exterior is good to very good (a few nearly invisible rock chips/marks but NO DINGS!). There is a hairline crack through the inside portion of the windscreen. Interior needs a little work (stretched leather on instrument hood and passenger airbag), but it does not have the "sticky buttons" problem. It won't win any concours awards, but it's a great driver. I wouldn't sell this car if I didn't have to - it took me nearly a year to find the combo and quality I wanted and I hate to sell it...
The silver color highlights the beauty of the 355 series, and the yellow factory shields really show off on the front fenders. The car RUNS AND SOUNDS INCREDIBLE. The 355's have one of the best sounding exhaust notes ever (and there haven't been any issues with this example's exhaust headers). This car was manufactured in Oct. of 98, right near the end of all 355 production, so basically has all the internal updates that Ferrari included (valve guides, fuel lines, headers, etc.). I haven't had any issues with the car at all!
I purchased the car about 5 years ago from Lotus of Scottsdale via eBay, then had the PPI done by Andy Falbo in Arizona. I had him fix anything that need repair (motor mounts and a few other things), and have enjoyed the car trouble-free ever since! This is truly a spectacular example. I have the owner's manual and warranty booklet as well as the toolset. And if the price goes above 45k, I'll include the full official luggage set (black to match interior) with the car. This is a great deal, and I'm quite sad I have to sell it, but I've got some bills to pay.
The car is located in my garage at my house in Albuquerque, NM. Buyer is responsible for all pick-up and transport fees. $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit at time of winning bid. Balance must be paid in full and cleared before pick-up. 7-10 business days if paying by cashiers check. Or pay by cash or wire-transfer at time of pick-up. Title is free and clear and will deliver when car is picked up. Please ask any questions before bidding. The car is sold as is.

These are the top 10 highest-grossing auctions of Scottsdale 2015
Tue, Jan 20 2015Scottsdale always brings some pretty high-value metal across the auction block, but this year saw a particularly pricey array of classics trade hands. In fact, Hagerty reports that, with over $292 million in total sales from the various auction houses present, this past holiday weekend saw an 18 percent increase over last year – the second-highest year-to-year increase in Arizona automobile auction history. The Pratte Collection auction handled by Barrett-Jackson sold to the tune of $35.5 million, accounting for a large portion of overall sales, but even without that staggering array of classics, there was still an enviable array of machinery on the block this year. The highest-value lot not only of this year's event but of any year prior was the 1964 Ferrari 250 LM that RM Auctions sold for $9.6 million. And as you might have guessed, Ferraris accounted for the lion's share of the top ten results this year – including the first, second, third, fifth, seventh, eighth and both the lots that tied for tenth place on the list. In fact, three out of the top ten were Ferrari 275s. Coming in second place was the 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB Competizione that Bonhams sold for $9.4 million, which – like the 250 LM – was also raced by Scuderia Filipinetti. It was followed by a '59 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyder sold by Gooding & Company for $7.7 million. Barrett-Jackson sold a '66 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake for over $5M, Gooding handled a '62 Ferrari 400 Superamerica ($4M), and Barrett-Jackson's 1950 GM Futurliner brought in another $4M for charity. The remaining top ten was filled out by a '67 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 ($3.6M – RM), a '73 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder ($3.3M – RM), and a '54 Pontiac Bonneville Special Motorama concept ($3.3M – BJ), with a '66 Ferrari 275 GTB/2 Longnose and an '84 Ferrari 288 GTO tying for tenth place at $2.75M apiece by RM. Hugh Jackman will play Enzo Ferrari in upcoming biopic
Fri, Mar 10 2017Following the success of his latest film, Logan, it seems Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman already has a new gig lined up. According to Deadline, Jackman has accepted the role of Enzo Ferrari for a biopic manned by Michael Mann. Interestingly, this is the second actor with a major superhero role under his belt to be asked to play Ferrari. Christian Bale, who played Batman in the Christopher Nolan trilogy, was originally chosen for the part, but he quit when he felt he couldn't gain the necessary weight before filming began. To us, casting a famous Aussie as a man as synonymous with Italy as Pavarotti is a bit odd. But if Sean Connery, a Scottish man, can play a Russian submarine commander in Hunt for Red October, then Jackman shouldn't have much issue. Jackman won't be alone in playing the Ferrari role either. Another biopic about the racing driver and sports car builder is in the works from a different studio. That film will feature Robert De Niro as Ferrari, which seems like a match made in heaven. However, the subjects of each film are a bit different. The Jackman film focuses only on an early part of Enzo Ferrari's career, specifically the year of 1957. The de Niro flick will take a broader look at Ferrari's life from the 1940s until his death in the late '80s. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Ferrari worth over $11 billion, says Marchionne ahead of IPO
Mon, Jul 6 2015We all know that cars from Ferrari sell for hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars. But how much is Ferrari worth as a company? At least ten billion, according to its chairman. Speaking at the launch of the revised Fiat 500 in Turin on Friday, Fiat Chrysler CEO and Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne said he expected the vaunted Maranello-based supercar manufacturer and racing team to be valued at over 10 billion euros, or about $11 billion at current exchange rates. As Bloomberg points out, that would make Ferrari alone account for some 60 percent of the value of its parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, which is currently valued at over 16 billion euros. That may seem like an aggressive estimate, but we won't have to take Marchionne at his word for long. After having floated an Initial Public Offering on the New York Stock Exchange last year, Fiat Chrysler is preparing to do the same with its Ferrari unit as soon as October. FCA will not, of course, be selling off all of its shares. The projected scheme would have ten percent (worth about one billion by Marchionne's estimates) of Ferrari's shares floated on the NYSE. Another 10 percent is expected to remain in the hands of founder Enzo's son (and company vice chairman) Piero Ferrari's hands. The remaining 80 percent is slated to be distributed among Fiat Chrysler's existing stakeholders.
