This vehicle was just 1 of 20 rare vehicles that I purchased several years ago from a one off collection. It sat next to several high end vehicles, including a million dollar Rolls Royce. The collector was very particular as to what he kept around, there were no ordinary cars. Although this 308 has a lot of character, driving it is a bit of an issue, I am 6'6" so I have been sticking to my Mercedes 6 door as a daily driver during the summer. I would much rather see someone else enjoy this Ferrari. It beats collecting dust in the garage. There are some minor chips in the paint, but nothing that would discourage anyone from purchasing it. The car was repainted when the Koenig widebody was installed. I recently had the car tuned up and changed the water pump and fuel pump. It took a full 18 months to get this car shipped to us because it didn’t have any keys and the wheels were locked in an awkward position. As you can see in the photos, there are 2 sets of wheels. This is because we needed to get it to drive and roll until we found a nice set of wheels for it. I have a friend in CA that will custom man any type of wheel for this 308 GTB Koenig. I have attached an example of what it could look like with custom made wheels. This is a perfect opportunity to own an original, rare Ferrari. Why spend $100,000 when you can enjoy this beautiful machine for less? Classic cars are making a come back, invest now, while you can. The rest of my collection is located in North Chicago, where I am from. I do not have enough room for my cars in Los Angeles. Feel free to message me to set up a time to take a look at this vehicle in person. The Ferrari 308 GTB was introduced at the Paris Salon in October 1975. It showed a similar mechanical layout to the Bertone-styled 308 GT4, but was equipped with only two seats. The beautifully styled coachwork by Pininfarina incorporated some visual aspects of the fantastic Dino 246 GT. .

A little about Koenig Specials: Koenig-Specials was founded by Willy K?nig. The company was based in Munich, in the south of Germany. The story starts when Willy K?nig (or Koenig whatever you want) bought himself the first Ferrari 365 BB in Germany, back in 1974. Willy K?nig was a car racer and a publisher at the time. Because he wasn't pleased with the performance of his new Ferrari he had it modified by engine-specialists and coachbuilding companies to suit his demands of creating the ultimate racingcar for the streets. Soon other people got interested in K?nig's modified 365 BB the hobby was turned into a professional bussiness: Koenig-Specials was born in 1977. Koenig-Specials outsourced it's modifications to companies and specialists with experience in the bussiness. The engine tuning was often done by Franz Albert and many of the widebody designs were done by Vittorio Strosek, who later started his own Porsche tuning-company.
Koenig-Specials is one of those tuning-companies who had just as much enemies as fans back in the 1980s. His modified Ferraris were not liked by the Maranello manufacturer, Enzo Ferrari ordered all stallion badges off the Koenig cars. Many people dislike Willy K?nig's creations, but still he's a tuning-legend with many fans all over the world. Vehicle specs:

Raikkonen likely to retire from F1 after 2015 [w/poll]
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Though his irreverent demeanor party-goer image might suggest otherwise, make no mistake about it: at 34 years old (and with 37-year-old Mark Webber out of the race), Kimi Raikkonen is the oldest driver in Formula One. He's three months older than Jenson Button, a good year older than his former wingman Felipe Massa, three years ahead of Adrian Sutil and a good decade beyond the latest crop of up-and-comers on the grid. So it's only natural that we should start wondering how much longer he'll stick around, and now we may have our answer.
Speaking with motorsport journalists at the British Grand Prix this past weekend, the 2007 World Champion and winner of 20 grands prix, Raikkonen indicated that the next season will likely be his last. According to numerous racing news outlets, when asked how long he plans to stay on the grid, the famously terse Finn responded: "Until my contract is finished, and then I will probably stop. That is what I think is going to happen."
Kimi was a relatively unknown entity when Sauber gave him his first drive in F1 back in 2001, upon which he finished in the points on his first race. He moved to McLaren the following season, racked his first podium finishes, and took his first win the season after that. He finishes second behind Fernando Alonso the next season, well ahead of the rest of the pack, and switched to Ferrari two seasons later in 2007, winning the world championship on his first season in red. After just three seasons, Ferrari showed him the door and Kimi left F1 entirely, trying his hand at everything from the World Rally Championship to NASCAR. He returned to F1 with Lotus in 2012, and in a rare move for Maranello, was invited back for this season on a two-year contract.
Kimi Raikkonen moving to Ferrari?
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Kimi Raikkonen, easily one of our favorite current drivers in Formula 1, may be making a move from Lotus to Ferrari, according to a Finnish tabloid called Ilta-Sanomat. Raikkonen, who won the driver's championship in 2007 with the Italian brand, is in high demand and is also rumored to have options on the table from Red Bull and his current team.
Of course, a move by Kimi to Ferrari means at least one of the Maranello-based outfit would need to find another ride. Driving ace Fernando Alonso has publicly voiced his displeasure with the Ferrari chassis, and rumors have the Spaniard considering a move to Red Bull to replace Mark Webber. Buckle up, folks, this Silly Season is shaping up to be bumpy...
Ferrari F12 races Air Malta A320 jet
Fri, 29 Mar 2013Air Malta recently worked up a little stunt that pitted an Airbus A320 against a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta in a drag race to raise funds for charity. It's easy to forget just how quick something the size of a jetliner can be, but watching the video below shows us just where the big passenger aircraft stands when it comes to sprinting down a runway. We won't spoil the clip for you, you'll just have to check out the showdown below.
Air Malta says it raised over 178,820 euro with the stunt, which is around $230,000. That's despite the fact that intermittent rain showers kept crowds away. Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton even stopped by to say "Hi" to the crowds. He wasn't piloting the F12, however. Check out the video below for yourself.
