I do know that the original owner had the engine replaced under warranty by Dodge at 14K miles, so the engine itself is at approx. 12K miles.  It's been strong, reliable, and has been free of any annoying tapping/ticking noises that I've heard on other Vipers.

Oil changed regularly w/ synthetic.

Engine burns no oil - Oil level remains constant between oil changes.

Engine sounds strong, and makes no strange noises; no abnormal ticking or tapping noises.

The transmission/clutch shift very smoothly.

The car drives straight, and runs just like it did when I bought it in 2009.  Actually it runs a lot better/cleaner with the custom tune.

Air conditioner blows cold.

I have owned this Viper since early 2009, and immediately bought a factory extended warranty through Dodge/Chrysler.  I never had an issue that made me want to take the car to the dealership, and risk dealership damage, carelessness.

The car’s driver-side window will likely need a new window regulator at some point, which is very common on these cars.  The window opens & closes fine, but periodically does not auto-drop when exiting the car.  I have always left the windows cracked, or down when driving, so it has never been an issue for me.

Also, the tire pressure warning notification is on, as the tire pressure sensors will need to be re-synced to the car.  Again, I eventually would have gotten this fixed, but wanted to avoid possible wheel damage ect.  All tires are at 29, and none leak any air.

The car has been driven, just over 26,000 miles, so it does have minor paint imperfections on front bumper, hood ect...

I have the title in hand ready sign over to the new owner.

If shipping is needed, it will be at  the buyer’s expense.

Winning bidder must PayPal me $500 within 24 hours of auction end. - Remaining purchase amount may be in the form of a bank wire, cashier’s check, or cash. (within 7 days)

All funds must clear before car is shipped or picked up.

I do not have to sell, and I am not necessarily in a big hurry to sell….so no low-ballers.

I am just looking to make a change after 5 years with this car.  I have owned Vipers previous to this car, and most likely will be moving into another Viper.

Let me know if there are any questions. You can contact me through eBay, or via email: cmilburntx@gmail.com

Thanks, and Good Luck!

Chrysler slows minivan production, hasn't built VW Routan this year

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Chrysler has slowed production of its Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans this week, Automotive News reports. The Windsor, Ontario plant will cut its three shifts from eight hours each to four hours each in an effort "to align production with market demand," a Chrysler spokesperson told AN. Chrysler also builds the closely related Routan minivan for Volkswagen at its Ontario facility, but has not built a single example thus far in 2013.
Sales of Chrysler's minivans fell 15 percent for the first two months of 2013, and a large part of that has to do with the 26-percent drop of the Grand Caravan alone (the T&C was only down by one percent). According to Automotive News data, as of March 1, Chrysler had an unsold inventory of 24,713 Town and Country models and 18,547 Grand Caravans - a 69- and 43-day supply, respectively.
"No sense running full speed now, then have a lot of vehicles sitting around a few months down the line," Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson told AN. Full production is expected to resume again on March 18.

Ford, Stellantis workers join those at GM in ratifying contract that ended UAW strikes

Mon, Nov 20 2023

DETROIT — The United Auto Workers union overwhelmingly ratified new contracts with Ford and Stellantis, that along with a similar deal with General Motors will raise pay across the industry, force automakers to absorb higher costs and help reshape the auto business as it shifts away from gasoline-fueled vehicles. Workers at Stellantis, the maker of Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles, voted 68.8% in favor of the deal. Their approval brought to a close a contentious labor dispute that included name-calling and a series of punishing strikes that imposed high costs on the companies and led to significant gains in pay and benefits for UAW workers. The deal at Stellantis passed by a roughly 10,000 vote margin, with ballot counts ending Saturday afternoon. Workers at Ford voted 69.3% in favor of the pact, which passed with nearly a 15,000-vote margin in balloting that ended early Saturday. Earlier this week, GM workers narrowly approved a similar contract. The agreements, which run through April 2028, will end contentious talks that began last summer and led to six-week-long strikes at all three automakers. Shawn Fain, the pugnacious new UAW leader, had branded the companies enemies of the UAW who were led by overpaid CEOs, declaring the days of union cooperation with the automakers were over. After summerlong negotiations failed to produce a deal, Fain kicked off strikes on Sept. 15 at one assembly plant at each company. The union later extended the strike to parts warehouses and other factories to try to intensify pressure on the automakers until tentative agreements were reached late in October. The new contract agreements were widely seen as a victory for the UAW. The companies agreed to dramatically raise pay for top-scale assembly plant workers, with increases and cost-of-living adjustments that would translate into 33% wage gains. Top assembly plant workers are to receive immediate 11% raises and will earn roughly $42 an hour when the contracts expire in April of 2028. Under the agreements, the automakers also ended many of the multiple tiers of wages they had used to pay different workers. They also agreed in principle to bring new electric-vehicle battery plants into the national union contract. This provision will give the UAW an opportunity to unionize the EV battery plants plants, which will represent a rising share of industry jobs in the years ahead.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat in the works

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

In Autoblog's recent First Drive of the 2015 Challenger SRT with the 707-horsepower Hellcat V8 we found its engine to be as brutally powerful as the numbers would suggest, even if it wasn't the best handler. However, the muscle-car-styling just isn't right for some buyers that need four doors and proper rear seats to haul around the family. It appears that Dodge has their backs, though, because the Hellcat is very likely on its way into the Charger in the near future. Imagine the looks on your passengers' faces when you stomp down on the throttle.
According to Road and Track, when Dodge submitted the Hellcat for engine power certification to the Society of Automotive Engineers, the company included the Charger on the paperwork. That showed that the automaker wanted the engine checked out for the sedan, too. R&T reckons the 707-hp Charger would hit the road about a year from now, clearing the Challenger for a year of exclusivity with the powerplant.
When the Charger SRT Hellcat does hit the road, it may carry a very special accolade. Assuming nothing beats it in the meantime, it might be the world's highest horsepower production sedan. Think on that for a second. Even a Mercedes S65 AMG only has 621 horsepower, though a good bit more torque at 738 pound-feet to the Dodge's 650 lb-ft. So while the beastly engine is getting put into other models, where else would you like to see it? The Ram? Grand Cherokee? Let us know in Comments.
