1998 DODGE VIPER GTS IN RED OVER BLACK

10 CYLINDER 8.0L - 415HP / 450 FT/LBS

ONLY 5K MILES!!

The iconic Viper is the ultimate Dodge sports car!  The body did not change much through the different generations but it did get refined and was a better quality vehicle in its second generation.  This is my personal favorite body style and generation of Viper available and it is at a price point that is hard to beat.  This Viper GTS is not one that can be replicated in Viper Red Clear Coat over Black leather and only 5k Miles!  This Viper still looks like new in many ways!!  There were a few updates made to this Viper and make it a further outrageous vehicle.  Clean Car Fax and Auto check. Never seen rain! This is very possibly the cleanest 1998 preserved Viper in the country!  Dealer installed extra's: Custom CCW highly polished wheels 18/19 with 355 rear Perelli P 0's.  Yes 355's! Voted the best Viper wheels with a look of the ACR.  Lowered ride height gives it the crazy look the factory should have. B&B headers with performance exhaust. Smooth tubes to air intake.  Roe Racing custom tune with in car air fuel ratio. Viper logo shift knob. Driven only on perfect weather days you could lay a sandwich on the under side of the car and not hesitate to eat it!  Yes it is that new! Everything works as new.  Pictures do not do this car justice, the car sounds just right (nasty & mean) and goes down the road exceptionally smooth and tight with not one rattle. Note: this car from the factory was rated at 450hp now makes 530 at the motor and 470 at the rear wheels.

This outstanding GTS will not last long!

The updates include:

B&B Custom Tri-Flo Exhaust

Koni Series 8040 Shocks

Eibach Springs

ROE Racing - Viper Engine Calibrator

CCW 19" Custom Polished Wheels

There are manuals/ documents and receipts for all of these upgrades.

This Beautiful 1 owner GTS Comes with 2 Keys, 1 Remote, Book, Original Window Sticker and a Service Manual!!

Chrysler recalls 350k vehicles over ignition switches

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

Chrysler has announced a recall covering 349,442 vehicles due to ignition switches that can either become stuck or move without warning. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2008 model year, and were built before May 12, 2008.
The automaker has learned that ignition keys on some vehicles "may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position during engine-startup," the company said in a statement. Additionally, "an ignition key may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position and may inadvertently move through the 'ON' position to 'ACCESSORY' or 'OFF.'"
Chrysler says it is unaware of any related injuries, and notes that while reduced braking, engine or steering power is possible in such instances, the airbags are not affected. The later stands in contrast to General Motors' recent rash of high-profile recalls, and it's an important distinction that Chrysler (understandably) felt necessary to call out in bold print in its press release.

1968 Dodge Super Charger is a super Charger with a supercharger

Wed, Oct 31 2018

Mopar's latest custom creation is sure to be in the running for coolest car at this year's SEMA show. It's a 1968 Dodge Charger, a car selected in part because this year marks the car's 50th anniversary, but taken to the extreme and renamed Super Charger. The headliner of the car's radical upgrades is the new "Hellephant" engine. It's a take on the original car's 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8. But this new engine, with the same displacement, is based on the current Hemi V8, and adds a supercharger. All told, it makes a whopping 1,000 horsepower and 950 pound-feet of torque on 93 octane pump gas. It will be available as a crate engine, too. The engine is far from the only impressive change to the car. All over the body are mild to wild tweaks. The wide, uninterrupted grille from the original is still here, but it's a one-piece example now. And instead of hiding the headlights behind doors that have to open for illumination, the lights simply shine through the grille, retaining a clean look even at night. The whole car sits 2.5 inches lower than stock, and it's now four inches wider thanks to the huge fender flares. They house 305-mm-wide tires up front, and 315-mm tires in the rear. Likely the most complicated change to the car is the lengthened wheelbase. There are two more inches between the wheels now, something Mopar did to reduce the front overhang. A close second in complexity are the taillights. They're the same shape as the originals, but now the round elements are actually exhaust outlets. The tips also happen to be the same as those on the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. There are other details that help bring together the exterior. The rain rails have been smoothed out on the roof, the vent windows removed, special 426 stickers have been added, and the fuel door now has a Hellephant badge with a blue background with lots of little Mopar Ms. The interior gets some attention, too. The rear seat has been removed, Dodge Demon style. It gets a custom roll bar designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, even getting the hoop around the seats to roughly line up with where the windows meet. Gauges come from the Mopar catalog, and the steering wheel and seats are from the dearly departed Dodge Viper. They're particularly relevant, as the six-speed manual transmission comes from the Viper, too. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. The Dodge Challenger plays its trump card: all-wheel drive

Wed, Dec 7 2016

Perennially stuck in third place behind the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro in sales and enthusiast comparisons, the Dodge Challenger is doing something unconventional for a muscle couple. It's adding all-wheel drive. It's a new feature for Detroit's pony cars – none of the three have ever had it – and it could be a game-changer. Called the Challenger GT, the Dodge launches this winter for a starting price of $34,490. The Challenger GT comes with the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 rated at 305 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque. It teams with an eight-speed TorqueFlight automatic transmission and is estimated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. An FCA spokesperson said no manual transmission or V8 models will be offered on the all-wheel-drive Challenger. It will be on display in January at the Detroit auto show. View 8 Photos All-wheel drive is a widely expected addition for the Challenger. The coupe shares underpinnings with the four-door Charger, which offers an all-wheel drive variant and the cars have similar powertrain offerings (the AWD Charger is also V6 and automatic only). Naturally, the Challenger borrows the Charger's AWD system and during regular driving conditions, the front axle disengages and full torque goes to the back wheels, allowing the Challenger to function as a rear-wheel drive car. It automatically goes back to AWD when more traction is needed. Handling is also fortified with a vehicle dynamic control system. Conversely, the electronic stability control has three modes and can be switched off for drift-happy enthusiasts. The GT has features familiar to other Challenger and Dodge owners, including an 8.4-inch touchscreen radio, Performance Pages (accessible through the Super Trak Pack button), and paddle shifters. A Sport Mode changes shift points to improve acceleration. It all rolls on 19-inch wheels wrapped in all-season rubber. The exterior gets a hood bulge, LED head- and taillights, and a decklid spoiler. The Challenger GT also offers a $995-interior package different than RWD models, adding Nappa leather, Alcantara suede seats, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, performance steering wheel, and more. All of that is just window dressing. It's all-wheel drive that could be a difference-maker for consumers. The Challenger won't likely be able to take down the Mustang, which will finish 2016 as the pony car sales king.
