This car is like no other I have seen and fairly rear, the condition is in good, but not perfect. We will start with INTERIOR-- all power, windows, locks, mirrors (both sides), power sunroof, power steering, cruise control, CD player W/ all good speakers (power and audio cords running to truck for AMP).  fog light, all gauges work, back seats lays down, New factory 4 speed shifter replace with in last yr, seat are not new, but good condition (drivers seat has small hole in back, and one  seem in sitting part is separating, dash is in good condition (only pulling away from defrost vent) carpet is fair & complete, console lid, hinge is broke. lid is there and in good condition. ENGINE BAY--  3.0 liter is strong, auto. trans. shifts good, ( new TRANS. fluid was replaced 2000 k ago. all parts replaced with in the last year will have ( N ) for new, brand new cold air tube, N. plugs, N.cap, N. rotor, N. wires, N. radiator , N.  battery, two N. motor mounts, 3 N. O2 sensors, N. vale cover gasket, N. upper intake gasket. UNDER THE CAR-- 4 N. 18" low profile tires (has 2000 K on them) 2 are Hankook and I think the other 2 are Falkens, N. struts all around, 2 N. springs on rear, 2 N. upper strut supports on front, 2N. front sway bar links, all N. rotors all around, all brakes have had N. Ceramic  pads put on when tire were in stalled, N. lock lugs W/key all around when tires where installed. N. Flex pipe on the exhaust. EXTERIOR-- body in fairly good condition, has some small pings & small scratches on rear bumper, driver side quarter, it had some wave in it where some one before I got it laid against it (looked like it) I tried to pull out with suction, would not pull out. So I sand to metal, used slide hammer, than bond-o 1 layer, needs a little more and surfaced (close, but not done) front air dam at bottom middle has small split where we hit tumble weed on the way to Montana. just installed a N. open hood scoop W/small hole in hood, new lock down hood pins on hood only(lost bottoms in move) looks very sharp). installed high boy rear spoiler, side scoops( was goin to make functional, but san out of money, last week installed 1970 dodge challenger flip gas cap. 18" rims are not new, but in good condition( has small chip and 2 lug cover has small crack). the hood and truck are primered , and roof is fading(was going to sand and primer, no money. front windshield has wiper ware)not to bad One more thing I forgot, the other day the shift cable (from shifter to trans. linkage) broke, I was able to splice back to gather and it works but made check engine come on. I took to AUTOZONE ran scan and said the cable needs adjusting, the trans. does not know which gear (P,R,N &1 are good, but drive is in 3rd than move in to D) the car is drivable. just adjust or may need cable, easy to change, simple fix, found 1 on ebay if that is what it needs for $25.00. I have gave all info. I can remember so U know what U are getting, I would will add, this car is very fun to drive and ever one goes out of there way to look at it, my wife not like to drive it, she says it get way to much attention, I like to drive it, because it is cool, when U pull up from behind people, U can see them breaking there neck in there rear view & side mirrors to see what is, and a lot of thumbs up, If U like to be noticed, this the CAR. the things it needs is front motor mount by radiator, two inner tie rods with alignment( car drives straight, but needs it (steering wheel cocked to right)I figure for around 200 U can fix mount & tie rods/ alignment and shifter cable, after cable is adjusted or replaced have disconnect battery to reset computer. all tags & inspection are current, clear title, Ebay said to list it rebuilt title, I di not know Y, it is a good Texas title, they told me it was never wreck or salvaged, so as far as I know it should be good. the license plates are HANDICAP and do not come with car.   I have spent around a hour just on info.it is important to me that U get what U pay for. I have the car for ----- $4800.------- this is a steal to be different. any question call me     361-222-1164 any time day or nite, does not matter. PLEASE NO TEXTING, SCAMMERS HAVE WORE ME OUT. P.S. 2016 Dodge Viper ACR priced from $117,895

Tue, May 12 2015

Fancy getting your hands on the all-new Dodge Viper ACR? Prepare to shell out at least $117,895, not counting destination or gas-guzzler tax. Those two add $1,995 and $2,100, respectively, for an out-the-door price of $121,990. That's $32,900 more than a base 2015 Viper, or the equivalent of a Challenger with a few options. As we explained previously, the ACR model doesn't do much for outright power – the 8.4-liter V10 offers up only five more ponies than before – but it does add suspension and aerodynamic upgrades that make this particular Viper far more potent on the track. The order books are officially open for the ACR, so if you've got the coin, get in touch with your local dealer. Until then, head into Comments and let us know what you think of the ACR's pricing. Would you shell out $118,000 for the ultimate Viper? DODGE OPENS ORDER BANKS FOR NEW 2016 DODGE VIPER ACR The fastest street-legal Viper track car ever offers a tremendous value for performance May 12, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - Viper enthusiasts with the need for ultimate handling, performance and road course domination, as well as the ability to drive their Viper home from the track, can now place their orders for the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever. The Dodge brand has announced pricing and opened order banks for the recently introduced 2016 Dodge Viper ACR. Unveiled last week at the revamped Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, the American Club Racer model of the iconic, hand-built American supercar will have a starting U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $117,895 (excluding destination and gas guzzler tax). "Bringing our street-legal Dodge Viper ACR back is going to arm our track enthusiasts with the ultimate weapon to dominate road courses across the country," said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO - Dodge and SRT Brands, FCA - North America. "This is without a doubt the best Viper ACR ever. The latest in aerodynamic, braking and tire technology will ensure its legendary performance reputation around the world." Originally introduced in 1999 and last available for the 2010 model year, the Viper ACR has a long-standing legacy as the ultimate street-legal track car for club racing. The new 2016 model honors that performance legacy with significant aerodynamic and suspension upgrades, new Carbon Ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers and high-performance tires specifically designed for ACR.

Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?

Mon, Feb 27 2017

We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat driver arrested hellbound at 160 mph

Fri, Mar 23 2018

When fisherman catch big fish, they want the world to know about it. That's approximately how the Indiana State Police felt when they busted a 707-horsepower muscle car booking it at more than 160 miles per hour. The ISP were chuffed enough about the catch that they put out a press release titled, "160 Mile Per Hour Hellcat Tamed On The Indiana Toll Road." The Dodge Challenger Hellcat driver, J. Jesus Duran Sandoval, told the arresting officer that he was "just trying to get to Maryland." The incident began just after Trooper Dustin Eggert finished helping a stranded motorist on the toll road at about 7 p.m. Eggert was merging back into traffic when he saw the Hellcat blast past at well beyond the 70-mph speed limit, allegedly weaving through traffic and — shock! — not using a turn signal for lane changes. With a Bandit on his hands, Eggert took the role of Smokey, and just like Burt Reynolds movies, couldn't catch the offender. Seems that Indiana State Police Dodge Charger Pursuit vehicles are speed limited to 150 mph, allowing the Hellcat to pull away. Eggert radioed for officers ahead to look out for the red baron, but received an assist before other LEOs swooped in: Eggert caught up to the Hellcat 11 miles down the road when the red coupe got held up behind two semis driving next to one another on the two-lane toll road. Sandoval pulled over, admitted he was doing a little more than 160 mph, then delivered The "Maryland" Defense unfazed by the fact that Maryland was more than 500 miles from his location. Turns out that 38-year-old Sandoval, from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, was also unbothered by driving on an expired license. The coppers took Sandoval to the LaPorte County Jail and booked him on reckless driving, bond set at $505, court date set for April 2. The ISP said this is the second time in two weeks they've busted someone doing more than 130 on the Indiana Toll Road. It's the second time in a year they've busted a Hellcat doing so — in April 2017, another pilot played Bat out of Hellcat at 158 mph, explaining his speed as a bit of show-and-tell for his friends in the car.
