Up for Auction a gorgeous 2008 Dodge / Mercedes Sprinter 2500 High Ceiling 144 12-passenger van with 48648 original miles in like new condition throughout. The van is clean AZ tittle and a non-smoker. White in color with black fabric seating and grey trim. The paint is in great condition with no chips or nicks. The bumpers are straight and super clean with no damage. All exterior lenses are in excellent shape. The wheels are original Mercedes Ben’s rims with all center caps. The van has large factory tinted windows all the way around that offer great visibility while driving. The interior is in like new condition. The seats are in like new condition from front to back. It offers a seating capacity for twelve people. There is ample cargo space behind the last row of seats. The cargo compartment is spotless. The van comes loaded with power windows, power locks, tilt steering, power steering, cruise control, power side mirrors with signal, high ceiling, factory roof mounted air conditioning, high performance air conditioning package, traction, ABS, ESP, and so much more. The flooring throughout is like new. The headliner is spotless clean with no fabric wear or stains. The dash and door panels are all in new condition. Powered by a strong, smooth running 3.0 liter turbo diesel six cylinder engine, paired to a five speed automatic overdrive transmission that shifts smooth with no problems. QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football
Fri, 16 May 2014The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
Defiance Dodge Charger, saving Earth from aliens isn't clean work [w/video]
Fri, 08 Feb 2013You'll be forgiven for not having heard about the TV show Defiance - it actually hasn't aired its first episode yet. The new science fiction show about an alien war against Earth in the near future seems like a perfect fit for the SyFy channel, and, apparently one that Dodge saw as a slick marketing opportunity for its Charger sedan.
Here in Chicago, Dodge has given a large corner of its show stand to the Defiance Charger, a car that won't be skipped by any Mad Max fans in attendance at this year's show. The Charger boasts one hell of a gnarly patina under a confusingly welded cage of tube steel, as well as window bars, a grille guard in front, and big, knobby truck tires. There aren't any obvious guns or turrets on the outside of the vehicle, so we can only hope that the characters driving it go well-armed.
Look for the Charger to make its star turn in Defiance when the series premieres on SyFy on April 15 at 9:00 PM EST. Also, there's said to be a Defiance video game in the works, too, so you may get a chance to steer the burly Dodge for yourself. Find a trailer for the show, below, as well.
