If you’ve been looking for a quality pre-emissions sprinter in a passenger van, this one has ultra low mileage and it’s in good condition. It’s my 1-Owner Dodge Sprinter 2500 Super High Ceiling Sprinter 140” wheel base passenger van with the rear A/C option. The body, drivetrain, underbody and interior are well above average. Read on for a full description.

Mechanically this van is superb. Engine starts up smooth with no smoke or hesitation, no engine or waring lights on the dash and no leaks underneath. Great power, turbo sounds healthy and the transmission shifts are excellent. The tires are about 70% tread and wearing evenly, brakes stop smooth with no pulsating or pulling to either side. The 2.7 5 cylinder Mercedes diesel is quiet and powerful and also gets 23-27 MPG fully loaded or empty (I recently sold another sprinter to a local flower shop and they will attest to the fuel consumption). Undercarriage is clean and dry with no leaks or rust at all. You will not have to spend a dime and this truck, drive it to California and back it’s that good.

Cosmetically this truck, I would say is well above average for the year. The paint is straight and shines very well, was just fully detailed. It does have a few flaws to mention on the body; normal small door dings on some of the panels the size of a dime (pictured), one 6” scrape on passengers side quarter panel (pictured) a few small paint blemishes (pictured) and a few normal stone chips. Overall appearance is excellent as it is a clean and straight van but if you are looking for perfection please look elsewhere or expect to do some paintwork. The interior is excellent, all seats, flooring and headliner are great with no wear out or flat spots, no rips or tears and no funny odors. All options are working including the front and rear air conditioning and climate control and radio all work well. Doors open and close nice.

Here is your chance to buy a wholesome sprinter van that well never abused and has low mileage. I’m asking a reasonable $19,999 for this sprinter and this seems to be the going rate for this year and mileage so please don’t call or email lowball offers. The auction can end at anytime so if you are in need of one of these and want a solid one, get your finger clicking and send the deposit over. Feel free to call me at 717-991-8991 my name is Travis. I have a clean and clear title in hand and ready to sell.

Dodge Charger Hellcat hitting 60 in 2.9 seconds on drag radials?

Thu, 02 Oct 2014

The Dodge boys and their cousins from SRT have shoehorned the same 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged V8 into both the Dodge Challenger and Charger. The former being a two-door, it's lighter than the latter four-door sedan. So it would stand to reason that the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would be the quicker of the two, right?
Only that's not necessarily proving to be the case. On stock rubber, yes, the coupe beats the sedan: Dodge quotes a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds for the Charger SRT Hellcat and 3.5 for the Challenger. Same gap across the quarter-mile: 11 seconds flat for the Charger versus 10.8 seconds for the Challenger. But according to recent reports, the story changes when you put both on drag radials.
While visiting Chrysler HQ in Auburn Hills, MI, TorqueNews.com caught wind of performance figures for the Charger Hellcat on drag tires: 0-60 in a mind-blowing 2.9 seconds and a quarter-mile in just 10.7. The latter figure just barely pips the Hellcat-powered Challenger's NHRA-certified figure of 10.8, making the Charger not only the fastest sedan on the market, but also the fastest muscle car. What isn't immediately clear, however, is whether the drag radials in question have any tread on them and are street-legal, or if they're pure slicks confined to a closed strip.

Dodge Viper might not live past 2017

Wed, Oct 14 2015

The Dodge Viper might be running out of venom because the muscle-bound sports car could be on the road to being cancelled in just a few years. According to Allpar, the proposed deal between the United Auto Workers and FCA US would close the Connor Avenue Assembly plant, which produces the Viper, in 2017. The proposed union contract doesn't give a reason for closing the factory, but the decision is understandable if frustrating. The plant was idled twice last year to reduce production of the Viper to match flagging demand. A $15,000 price cut for the coupe eventually allowed for a sales surge, but that appetite hasn't continued in 2015. From January through September of this year, the company has only moved 503 of the sports cars, down eight percent. To further spur demand, Dodge has employed a few other tactics like the 1 of 1 program for buyers to personalize their Vipers, and the introduction of the brutally track-focused ACR. In a world where high-end sports cars are continuing to get friendlier for both their drivers and the environment, the Viper remains a holdout with a big, naturally aspirated V10. Even with the addition of some electronic aids on the latest Vipers, the snake still demands respect from those behind the wheel. Respect is fine, but sales are what matter to FCA – and the harsh reality is that a lack thereof might force the Viper into retirement, whether we like it or not.

New Viper 'is a possibility,' Sergio Marchionne says

Wed, Jan 13 2016

It was thought the door to the future for the Dodge Viper had closed last year, but Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne reopened it during his press conference at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Marchionne said the current Viper is the only FCA product to use the ZD platform, which "doesn't make sense to me." Yet, "given the architectural development within the brand, there is a possibility that a new version of the Viper may surface." Automobile reports that the company uses a versatile, rear- and all-wheel drive Giorgio platform for Alfa Romeo and Dodge. It will support the Alfa Romeo Giulia (Alfa Romeo's larger BMW 5 Series competitor), the next-generation Dodge Challenger, Charger, and rumored Barracuda, and it could support a new generation of Viper. We're probably talking about a different kind of Viper, though, with Automobile saying, "the current car's truck-based V-10 no doubt would be scrapped along with its platform." A Viper without a V10 doesn't seem like a Viper to us, but we'll wait to see what happens. In the midst of contract negotiations for a new labor agreement between FCA and the United Auto Workers last year, it emerged that the Conner Avenue Assembly plant that builds the Viper hadn't been given any new product after the end of Viper build-out in 2017. That led most to reason that the current Viper would be the end of the 25-year run of America's hairiest sports car. How long we'll be waiting is unknown. Marchionne had no timetable and admitted that a future Viper might not appear on the heels of the current one. With a renewed commitment to being debt-free by 2018, FCA is likely more focused on getting Alfa Romeo running properly and cranking out the volume variants for the Giorgio platform first.
