Up for sale is my 1996 Dodge Ram van ice cream truck. We purchased the van locally in March of this year and at the time, it was a camper van. We then turned it into an ice cream truck! This van currently has 278236 miles, but I'm still running this business while this is up for sale, so the mileage will be different when purchased.. I have been running this van since June and have had no problems with it. It starts up just fine and runs great! There is very little rust and the temperature gauge doesn't work. There is also a small dent on the hood that was there when I purchased it. There are no leaks that I can see. Mechanically, this van runs well but please take note, I am NOT a mechanic and this van will be sold AS IS.  Please give me a call if you'd like to stop by and look at it before committing to buying it. (352)220-8042.
I am selling this because I do not have the time or desire to run it every day. You can easily make $100-$200 a day or more with this van if you have the time and dedication to run it!
This ice cream truck comes with a chest freezer (has a small dent near the light, but still works perfectly), a mini refrigerator/freezer, a 5000/10000 watt power inverter, 2 new deep cell marine batteries, a 400 watt Sony Xplode amp, a 100 watt speaker (ice cream music can be heard from far away), a CD/radio, ice cream music CD, a cooler for ice cold drinks, and any ice cream that I have left when the van is bought. Please note!! I am still running this truck while this is up for sale, so the amount of ice cream you'll get is unknown until the time of purchase. I am 5'3" and I can stand  up in the back serving area with my head touching the roof. There are also 3 sets of storage cabinets that run around the top back area.Since taking these pictures, I have removed the "chips" decal on the window and have added a few more ice cream decals. Also, in the pictures, you will NOT receive the brown step stool or my daughter's booster seat :)
This is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.  I require a $500.00 down payment within 48 hours at the end of the auction.
I have done my best to accurately describe this item.  I am human and do make mistakes.  Please expect normal wear and tear on the van because it is NOT a new vehicle.  You will have 72 HOURS to return the van to me after you pick it up if you find any other issues that I have not listed.  I will then refund your money.
I am located in Inverness, FL.  LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.  I can not ship this item!
The ice cream business is a very fun and rewarding experience.  My 7 year old daughter goes with me every Sunday to sell the ice cream.  She loves to help and we are making memories! Sadly, I've decided its best to let it go to someone who has the time and dedication to running it more than 1 day a week!

The Dodge Demon was developed under a cloud of smoke

Tue, Jun 6 2017

The Dodge Demon needs no introduction. The car is so full of superlatives that most of it sounds unbelievable until you see and hear it in action. The car was revealed after months of teasers and cryptic messages, but the public weren't the only ones in the dark. From the start, the Demon's development was a closely guarded secret. There were even some within SRT that didn't know about the project. The people behind the car went through a lot of effort to keep it that way. At an event covering the finer details of the Demon's supercharged 6.2-liter V8, Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis and SRT Powertrain Director Chris Cowland spoke about the smoke and mirrors used to hide the Demon's development. Work on the car progressed for nearly two years before it was made public, with just a small team having full access to the project. Numbers were altered. Secret meetings were held. SRT engineers worked nights and weekends while parts suppliers were given as little information as possible to move progress forward. Preliminary work on the Demon began in April of 2015, not long after the standard Hellcat hit the streets. The goal wasn't to create a faster Hellcat. Kuniskis said that would have been easy. They wanted a single-minded vehicle that could also be driven on the road. It's the same mindset that brought about the Dodge Viper ACR. Dodge wanted a car that could sell the brand to both enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike. 840 horsepower is going to raise anyone's eyebrows, including the Camry owner parked down the street. While preliminary work started in April, the final greenlight wasn't given until September. The project was originally going to revive the American Drag Racer, or ADR, name. When we saw the first hints of the Demon last fall, we labeled the spy photo above the Dodge Challenger ADR. It was set to have 10-percent more power and 20-percent more launch force than the already gut-punching Hellcat. It was also only going to have a quarter-mile time in the 10s, just slightly quicker than the Hellcat. Somewhere along the line, the team realized that the ADR wasn't enough. It was just going to be a Hellcat plus, and that wasn't exciting. The main goal was changed: 9s with light. Translated, that means a 9-second quarter mile with light under the tires (read: a wheelie). From that point forward, everything about the Demon's development, from power to suspension to weight, would be done in pursuit of that goal.

Dodge celebrates big B-day with 100th Anniversary Editions muscle cars

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Being in business for 100 years is a HUGE milestone, so we hope Dodge has more in mind to celebrate its centennial than just a special edition package for the 2014 Charger and Challenger. Called the 100th Anniversary Edition package, this collection of cosmetic enhancements will be available in limited quantities for both cars at a cost of $2,500.
Ordering a Charger or Challenger with the 100th Anniversary Edition package means starting with either a V6-powered SXT Plus or V8-powered R/T Plus model. They can each be ordered in many colors, but only the High-Octane Red Pearl Coat above is an anniversary exclusive. Each car also comes with an anniversary-exclusive set of 20-inch, five-spoke wheels with what Dodge calls "Granite Crystal pockets," a texture that's also mirrored on each car's grille.
Of course, there are commemorative badges galore affixed to the exterior of each car, including "Dodge Est. 1914" fender badges and "100" logos on the center caps of each wheel. The styling theme of each car's interior is a bit more interesting, with Dodge designers trying to evoke "the patina and machinist legacy of John and Horace Dodge," the company's founders. To that end, the leather interior can be had in Molten Red or Foundry Black Nappa, and each features a custom cloud overprint that makes the hide look like a working man's dirty dungarees. Designers also used brass-colored accent stitching on the interior's leather trim pieces, and affixed more "Dodge Est. 1914" badges to the front seat backs and floor mats. We do like the flat-bottomed steering wheel, and the Challenger 100th Anniversary Edition gets exclusive white gauges faces and the Charger black. The "100" on each car's speedometer is also highlighted in red.

2019 Dodge Durango raids the SRT parts bin for updates

Fri, Jul 13 2018

Fiat Chrysler will squeeze some extra excitement from the upcoming 2019 Dodge Durango, by providing some modest updates. They include giving the three-row SUV new colors and broadening the use of elements of the Durango R/T and SRT performance models, among other upgrades when it goes on sale in the fall. It'll still be offered in five models — SXT, GT, Citadel, R/T and the SRT — with the same 295-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 as the standard engine. For 2019, the GT model will get the SRT and R/T's performance front fascia and LED fog lamps. It also has the option of an SRT-inspired hood with center air inlet duct and two heat extractors. On the Citadel models, second-row captain's chairs will be standard. There's also a new integrated trailer brake on models equipped with the Trailer Tow Package. New 20-inch wheel designs are available on various trims, and an available 825-watt, 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for the Citadel, R/T and SRT. Three new exterior color options appear, too: F8 Green, Destroyer Gray and Reactor Blue. SRT buyers can now opt for red seat belts and lightweight Brembo brakes with two-piece rotors. Its Hemi V8 still makes 475 horsepower as it did last year. The R/T model, meanwhile, continues with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, also available on the Citadel, making 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. Sepia leather seats are a new option. Order books are now open, but there's no word yet on price. Related Video:
