Perfect condition and like new....no wait that's our other car. This 1 ton Ram has been used as a truck. It has pulled, hauled, carried and done its job. Sadly we no longer need this truck.. This truck was purchased to transform into the ultimate commercial utility vehicle but the business has changed and no longer requires such a capable, hard core truck. The truck was purchased in NC in 2010 for our tree & lawn business in the Asheville area. It has not left NC since then and has been used mostly for towing a small landscaping trailer, hauling brush and so forth. The Ram 3500 diesel was way more truck than we needed. It was purchased with high mileage so it was no surprise that both normal maintenance and some significant repairs were needed. In the last two years, the following items have been addressed in this order:
KDP - killer dowel pin
2 new Interstate batteries
Driver side front wheel bearing
Clock spring
4 rear tires (its a dually)
New windscreen
New fan clutch
*Automatic transmission rebuilt*
New front brake pads & rotors
New rear brake shoes
Replaced hydro boost pump
Replaced power steering pump & pressure line
Items that still need to be addressed:
2 front tires
Alignment
Passenger side front ABS sensor
A/C charge
Obvious body issues as seen in photos
So the truck runs and drives as it should. The 5.9L Cummins engine with the Bosch P pump is still at the original settings and runs awesome with plenty of power. The transmission has only a few thousand miles and is still under warranty. The most important items (engine, transmission & brakes) are all good. So while there are plenty of smaller issues, a least the truck goes & stops correctly.

Real-life Bravado Banshee from Grand Theft Auto up for sale
Sun, 01 Jun 2014Remember the Bravado Banshee that West Coast Customs built last year to promote Grand Theft Auto V? Given away by GameStop, the woman who won it says she's better off with money to send her two kids to college than with a race car, so now you can steal buy it on eBay.
Based on a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10, every exterior panel was redesigned to match the Banshee, and the red embroidered badging inside won't let you forget it. There's still that V10 up front that can make some kind of racket, and a SEMA-worthy stereo filling the entire trunk to make a different kind of racket. Oh, it's also got hood struts that have crapped out, so you'll notice the hood is held up with a wooden rod.
The auction ends on June 5, and you can make an offer or hit the Buy It Now button and hand over $170,000. Might be time to change the outfit and run a few jobs for some quick cash.
2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad soldiers on in the Chi
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Introduced to the market in 2008 and updated in 2011, the Dodge Journey crossover has had all the freshness of a retirement village in recent years. Filling a potentially important niche for Dodge as an affordable, family-sized vehicle, the Journey has gotten one last mild refresh here in Chicago. Feast your mild-appearance-package-loving eyes on the 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad.
We can't be sure if the inspiration for the Crossroad appellation was the 2002 blockbuster film, Crossroads, starring Britney Spears, or the 1986 cult-classic, Crossroads, starring Ralph Macchio, but based on the CUV's newfound boyish charm, we're betting on the Karate Kid.
Dark finish 19-inch wheels, platinum chrome accents and a manly new front fascia tell the world that this isn't the Dodge Journey that they've long since forgotten about. In fairness, the Crossroad is easily the best-looking iteration of the Journey to date, and should be better to live with, too, considering its revised cabin, leather seats and standard Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system.
Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.
