There is no rust anywhere on the truck, including the underneath. The interior of the truck is the same. With no problems or damage anywhere in the interior. The only issue as far as the interior goes, is the sunroof. I accidentally knocked it off the track just a few weeks after I purchased the truck. I never saw it as a necessity, so I closed it and never used it again. It shuts, and does not leak, however, it will not open properly. Other than that, there are no other issues with the interior, other than the GPS needs to be updated due to the fact that the truck is a 2010, and I have always used a windshield mount GPS. All the electronic extras work perfectly inside the cab."

This is a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie with a 4 Door Crew Cab.  It has an eight foot bed with a B&W hitch installed that can house a gooseneck ball as well as a 5th wheel hitch.  I installed an additional trailer plug in the bed for easy hook-up to trailers that couple in the bed.  There is also two plugs on the bumper of the truck.  The paint on the truck looks the same as new as well as the interior.  The only issue with the exterior of the truck is a very small dent in the rear bumper that I just put there a few weeks ago hooking up to my 16 foot bumper pull trailer.  There are a lot of extras that have been installed on this truck by a certified mechanic in my area.  The extras include, and H&S MiniMaxx engine tuner w/ head screen, Dual Disc South Bend Clutch, High Torque rear drive shaft, air bags under the rear suspension with air hookups mounted at rear of the truck,  custom designed head bolts and new head gasket for supporting higher engine pressure, exhaust temperature gauge, high torque universal joints, larger rear end housing to promote cooler temperatures, heavy duty B&W hitch system in bed, and a spray in bed liner.  This truck has been set up to work and haul, along with riding in comfort.  I am the second owner of this truck and was purchased in North Carolina.  This truck has been well maintained and taken care of since I have owned it.  Cleanliness and maintenance are my main priorities.  The truck right now has a fairly new turbo that has been installed by a Dodge dealer just this past February.  The oil and all other fluids have been changed according to good maintenance practices.  I have used this truck for what it is designed meaning that I used it to pull with.  I ran it over-the-road in a hotshot expedited freight service capacity for the past few years.   It was used over-the-road only and was never hauling materials off road.  I pulled a 50 foot PJ Gooseneck trailer with it all over the country and mainly in the southeast.  I dropped this truck out of service due to the fact that it was my personal truck as well, and I had purchased a road tractor to haul with.  My original plan was to keep this truck until I, or it died.  However, I realize that I have no use for a truck like this sitting in my driveway.  I no longer own that goosneck trailer, nor do I plan to put this truck back on the road again.  This is an excellent truck that will presumably run for as long as you want, and will be able to do whatever you need it to.

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Associate Editor Byron Hurd. With the Detroit Auto Show now in the rearview, focus shifts to news that crept up outside of the North American spotlight. The two talk about the new Ferrari Purosangue SUV, then pivot to a discussion about the future of the Dodge Charger and Challenger based on rumors of a new assembly facility. Next, they discuss what they've been driving recently. Byron leads off with anecdotes from his trip to Spain to drive the 2023 Range Rover Sport and his weekend with the VW GTI SE. Next, Greg talks about the ups and downs of the BMW X3 M Competition and Mercedes-Benz GLE450 Coupe. Dodge Demon test mule spotted wearing unusual camouflage

Thu, Feb 23 2017

The Dodge Demon apparently refuses to stay under wraps. The endless rollout of teasers continues each Thursday, but thanks to both Vin Diesel and our trusty spy photographer we have a whole suite of photos that show a nearly complete car in the flesh. This car appears to have been hiding in plain sight, as some of these photos were captured in the Detroit area. The car or cars in these photos is far less polished than the one shown in all of Dodge's teasers. The Air Grabber hood is unpainted, though it does come with some awesome hood pins. The same goes for the bolt-on fenders, as other pictures show a cleaner integration of the Demon's widebody modification. Despite the large Nitto logo on the top of the windshield, the cars in these photos are both wearing a set of Pirelli PZero All-season Plus tires on non-Demon wheels. It's as if drag radials aren't the best choice for winter driving. This car is fitted with two-piece Brembo brakes, but there's no telling if they're different than the standard Hellcat's. The decals on the side of the car may give clues to some of the Demon's equipment, but based on the LB Performance - commonly known as Liberty Walk- logo, the decals are likely more of a ruse than anything else. Liberty walk is famous in the tuning community for big, bolt-on body kits. The looks perfectly suit these test cars, though Borla exhaust and a Hurst shifter would be a wonderful addition to the Demon. Outside of that, there isn't much new to glean from these photos. Most of our questions about the Demon (horsepower, gearing, price) can't be had from pictures. Look for more news each Thursday in the lead up to the car's debut in New York in April. We're pretty sure the Challenger SRT Demon won't have 1,121 horsepower, but what if?

Fri, Feb 3 2017

Dodge's slow rollout of the upcoming Demon continues, and with it comes endless speculation about what it all means. Every video, every image, and every press release contains some clue that points towards the Demon's final specs. We don't think any of it is random or arbitrary. This week cryptic image, a small plate with a name and two numbers, shows us a little more than last week's license plate. Unfortunately, Dodge will neither confirm or deny anything, meaning we have no way of knowing which rabbit hole to go down. Don't expect to see official horsepower, a quarter-mile time, or an MSRP until the New York Auto Show. The plate is attached to the crate of goodies that comes along with every Dodge Demon. This particular one is labeled with three things: Tom Coddington, serial number 0757, and VIN 001121. The name is simple enough. According to Hot Rod, Coddington was one of the original Ramchargers, a group of engineers in the early 1960s that helped Dodge get involved in drag racing. He was a fuel system specialist, motor consultant, and a rotating garage manager. All of that could be clues. While a name is easy enough to Google, the two numbers can't be broken down so easily. The crazier theory is that the car makes 1,121 horsepower and will do the quarter-mile in 7.57 seconds. Frankly, those numbers are about as likely as the Demon actually being powered by a Rolls-Royce turbofan engine from a Boeing 757 or packing a carburetor with 1,121 CFM. The Demon is going to be street legal, and the costs associated with making a 1,121-hp car meet emissions standards alone are assuredly astronomical. As our friends from Road & Track pointed out, the more likely theory is that 757 is actually the horsepower rating. This seems totally plausible, but it means we still don't know what 1,121 means. Surely it's not a drag strip time, as the standard Hellcat will do 1/4 mile in 11.2 seconds. Like before, if you have any ideas, post them in the comments. Until April, we'll keep trying to solve Dodge's demonic puzzle. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
