Please save me in your sellers list. I do towing and sometimes come across nice vehicles, mostly Dually trucks, since that's what I personally like to drive. I check them for possible problems and do a test drive. I don't buy junk or vehicles I wouldn't trust driving myself. Some of the vehicles I come across are repos or have expired tags, but are good running vehicles with no problems. If I find any problems I will post them in the listing so you know what you are bidding on. Vehicles with expired registration are especially good for buyers outside of California because back fees owed to California DMV don't apply in other States. You will also be able to legally drive the vehicle back to your State by purchasing a vehicle moving permit that you can get for $18 at any California DMV.

Up for sale is a good running 97 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually Truck. Has a strong running V10 8.0 L engine and a good shifting automatic transmission. Has power seat, power windows, power mirrors, AC/heater, CD/radio. Everything is in good working condition. It also has trailer brakes and a tow hitch. Tires will have to be changed soon, but will still get you home. When you put the key in the ignition the emergency lights start blinking, but once you start the truck they stay off. I think it has something to do with the alarm system and it doesn't affect the trucks starting or running.

This truck runs and drives good with no problems, no leaking of any kind, no warning lights, no overheating, no shaking.

The exterior is straight with no dents or damage. Paint is not that good. The top sides of the vehicle are fading, especially on the hood and the dually fenders.

Gray cloth interior is very clean and in good shape, but the headliner was taken off (see picture) and there are a couple of sun cracks in the dash closest to the wind shield.

This truck holds a clean/clear title and I have it on hand.

IMPORTANT: Registration has been expired since Jan 2012 and owes about $600 to California DMV. This fee does not apply to out of State buyers.

Truck is being sold as is where is.

If you have any questions or would like to test drive the truck prior to placing a bid please contact me and I'll get back at you asap.

Thank you and happy bidding.

2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad soldiers on in the Chi

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

Introduced to the market in 2008 and updated in 2011, the Dodge Journey crossover has had all the freshness of a retirement village in recent years. Filling a potentially important niche for Dodge as an affordable, family-sized vehicle, the Journey has gotten one last mild refresh here in Chicago. Feast your mild-appearance-package-loving eyes on the 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad.
We can't be sure if the inspiration for the Crossroad appellation was the 2002 blockbuster film, Crossroads, starring Britney Spears, or the 1986 cult-classic, Crossroads, starring Ralph Macchio, but based on the CUV's newfound boyish charm, we're betting on the Karate Kid.
Dark finish 19-inch wheels, platinum chrome accents and a manly new front fascia tell the world that this isn't the Dodge Journey that they've long since forgotten about. In fairness, the Crossroad is easily the best-looking iteration of the Journey to date, and should be better to live with, too, considering its revised cabin, leather seats and standard Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system.

eBay Find of the Day: 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 with 504 miles

Tue, 26 Nov 2013

It's typically hard to find early examples of the Dodge Viper that haven't been crashed or modified, but one eBay seller has a showroom-fresh version of the V10 roadster up for sale worthy of an eBay Find of the Day.
With just 504 miles on the odometer (according to the description and not the images) and "no defects at all," this 1994 Viper is a rare find indeed. Tack on the Buy It Now price of just $37,500 and it seems like a steal - especially when checking out the prices and conditions of other early Vipers currently listed on eBay.
Even after spending months ogling the all-new 2014 SRT Viper, it's hard to ignore the raw beauty of the original open-top model. From the three-spoke wheels to the calf-searing side pipes, everything about this Viper looks just the way it did when it rolled off the line almost 20 years ago. The seller even says that the top and windows have never been installed meaning there are no scratches anywhere on this car!

Cars.com runs 11-second quarter with Dodge Charger Hellcat

Mon, Jun 1 2015

The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and its Challenger sibling are two of the heroes of the modern performance world. With a headline-grabbing 707 horsepower from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, their output even shames many supercars. But how quick can one really cover a quarter mile? Cars.com recently decided to find out by taking a Charger Hellcat to the drag strip to see if the sedan lived up to Dodge's 11-second claims. The results were quite impressive. After 13 quarter-mile runs of adjusting variables like the tire pressures and the car's various electronic aids, the Charger Hellcat managed a pass in 11.03 seconds at 126.61 mph – the pinnacle result of the day. This car was mechanically stock and wore the optional Pirelli P Zero tires. According to Cars.com, other quick sprints reached 11.09 seconds and 11.1 seconds, which even beat the site's 11.41-second best from a Challenger Hellcat last year. Getting the Hellcat's prodigious power down without losing traction was a challenge, even on the summer tires. Cars.com thought it had a run that could have dropped below 11 seconds, but then the wheels spun. Using the factory-recommended pressures, the Charger Hellcat was no still slouch with an 11.27-second time recorded, but taking things down to 25 psi proved the quickest at the strip. We already knew that the Charger Hellcat was a wonderful vehicle for eating up huge gulps of asphalt at high speeds and could verify its 204-mile-per-hour top speed (quite a bit faster, incidentally, than the Ferrari California T's 196 mph top-speed). Apparently, the 11-second quarter-mile claim is just as accurate. Also, for any curious owners, the Cars.com story divulges many of the tweaks required to reach this seriously quick time.
