I am the second owner of this truck, the first 145k miles of it life were spent completely stock in MI with a man late 40s in age behind the wheel driving it too and from work and doing the normal around the house stuff. when i got ahold of this thing in 09 it was absolutly spotless,it had been babied and in my opinion a perfect start to a big build. so i drove it for a little while till i got my daily driver, an f150 so that i could keep miles off of this once it was done and during the build. In the fall of 2010 it rolled in the shop and the project began with the soul intention of being my boat hauler. mid july of 2012 it came out of the shop all finished up, i have put about 200 miles on it since it has been done, five trips to our local lake with the boat behind it and a little weekend sunny day cruzin other than that it stays in the shop all cleaned up never driven in the rain or snow. The only reason i am even considering selling is because we are wanting something a little more interstate friendly like maybe a crew cab dually for taking the boat to bigger water, this machine really isnt the most logical thing to put on the road for six and eight hours at a time with a boat behind it, not that i wouldnt trust it to do the job becuase it would take me to the coast and back no problem.its deffinatly going to be hard to part ways with..  the project began with a complete tear down to the cab,bed and motor sitting on the frame rails, first the whole frame was sand blasted then a new paint job front to back after all the fab work was done for the suspension, next was off to the body shop for the install of the 09 front clip mopar fenders, recon projectors, cowl hood, big horn edition front bumper, and the RBP grill. then the axles where gone through everything replaced to new condition then blasted, all tabs welded and new paint as well. all fluids in the truck front to rear are full synthetic. on to the rest of the upgrades that are all brand new!

FOX tripple bipass remote resi 2 1/2" body in the rear $1300 a piece, 2" body twins mounted on the front $800 a piece, dual 2" body steering dampners also. all custom built to spec. just for this truck in house at fox ind.

13.5 inch professionally fabed lift, the four link and track bars are all made from 2" temp treated solid steel bar drilled and taped to except the 80,000 lb rated hiem joints, all brackets are made from 1/4" flat steel, all welding taken care of by LRBS of IL, you will not find a lift on the market that offers more strength or suspension travel

Watch dual-engined Dodge SRT4 do a FWD burnout, a RWD burnout, then AWD launch

Wed, Dec 3 2014

There's something fantastically insane about racers who go out on their own and build something unique. Just take this crazy video from last year of a twin-engine Dodge SRT4 at a drag strip that can burn the rubber at either end – or both ends – at a moment's notice. With tires sticking out way past the fenders, a massive cooling system at the front and no back window to speak of, this Dodge is clearly meant solely for speed. Though it's real party trick is being able to spin the front or rear wheels independently. The setup makes for three quite showy burnouts. When it came time to actually get down the track, things got somewhat awkward. Like other twin-engine creations we've seen, the separate powertrains make for some odd sounds and a weird look launching down the strip. Still, there's no doubt that the engineering behind this Frankenstein is very impressive. Scroll down to see this monster in action and another of it in a very mismatched race last year. Dodge Challenger spied exercising supercharged Hellcat Hemi V8

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

One of the prime complaints against the Dodge Challenger is that, even in SRT8 guise, its 470 horsepower is responsible for hauling over 4,200 pounds of vehicle. For comparison, the 420 hp in the Ford Mustang GT only has to deal with 3,618 lbs. Things only get worse from there, as the higher-performance variants of both the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro are far more powerful than an SRT8 without adding on much heft.
So what is Chrysler to do? The correct answer is add a whole lot more grunt to its hefty two-door and even the odds. That's where the all-new Hellcat engine comes into play. We reported on this engine in May, and suggested that the Hellcat, a supercharged powerplant based on a 6.4-liter V8, would easily generate 500 to 570 hp and could likely arrive boasting more than 600 ponies.
Chrysler's ace in its sleeve has now been spied testing, with a number of Hellcat-equipped Challengers running the potent new engine both in more urbanized areas and under the sun of Death Valley. The hoods on these testers have been raised to accommodate the engine, and that camouflage over the fascias of these prototypes is there to hide a larger air intake. We also note what appears to be a new split grille under wraps. As for power output, our spies are now suggesting a Viper-equalling 640 hp from the Hellcat-equipped cars.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat en route to dealers

Sat, 15 Nov 2014

Get ready, world: The 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has officially been unleashed. But rather than just have the big coupes quietly arrive at dealers, Dodge has released this video, showing Hellcats loading up onto car carriers at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant. And yes, that is Mötley Crüe's "Kickstart My Heart" playing in the background. Of course.
This really is worth all the fanfare, though, considering Dodge will sell its ridiculously powerful, supercharged machine for just $59,995. And if the Challenger isn't quite up your alley, just remember, there's an equally powerful, 204-mph, four-door Charger Hellcat on the way...
