I have for sale my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500. This truck came equipped with the 6.7 Liter Cummins Turbo Diesel, attached to the G56 Manual 6 speed transmission. The truck is equipped with the Laramie package, including options such as power Leather seats, Navigation, Back up camera, Heated front seats and steering wheel, Premium Alpine sound system including factory subwoofer under passenger rear seat. Some of the cosmetic upgrades i have done are as follows: Truxedo Tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats front and rear, 5% window tint on side and rear windows, 12" 5% strip across the top of the windshield, the rest of the windshield from the strip down is tinted 50% (just to take the glare off while driving) Rubber bed mat, Smoked tail light covers, Horn Blasters triple Trumpet Train Horns. The truck has been lifted with a top of the line 6" BDS long arm lift, Fox 2.0 shocks all the way around as well as dual Fox 2.0 Steering stabilizers. For wheels i went with Black 20 X 12 Fuel Hostages Wrapped with 35 X 12.50 Toyo Open Country MT's. With this suspension this thing rides very smooth for a heavy duty truck, as well as handles and corners extremely well! (I have invested almost $10,000 in just Suspension, Wheels and Tires alone, and it was worth every penny in quality) As far as motor work goes, I have deleted both the DPF of off the exhaust as well as the EGR system on the motor. i have also installed a 5" Flo-Pro Exhaust system with a 5" inlet 8" outlet 18" long Exhaust tip. S&B Cold air intake and H&S Mini Max Tuner. in addition to the extra horsepower all that added as a precaution I also replaced the factory head with an aftermarket Industrial Injection head Premachined to accept Fire ring head gasket, Fire ringed head gasket, Industrial Injection Camshaft, A1 Technology Head Studs. **** THIS TRUCK DID NOT BLOW A HEAD GASKET, THIS WORK WAS DONE TO ENSURE THAT IT WOULD NOT**** a very common problem with the 4th gen cummins was blowing a head gasket after adding a tuner and deleting them, all of this was done to make sure that didnt happen to this truck. all of the parts were purchased from Industrial Injection and were installed by Deihl Dodge in Butler PA. Along with all of the motor work I had them install a Dual Disk 1850 series Clutch. I travel quite a bit for work and wanted to build a truck that was just as powerful as it looks but would be dependable enough to drive to california if i needed too, and that is exactly what i have!!! If you add up what this truck cost new and all of the work that i have had done it be somewhere in the high $80,000's range. now i understand it would be unrealistic to try to get all that back out of it, but i'm not going to give it away either. This is a Florida truck with Florida plates. I travel alot for work and I am currently working in Cranberry Township PA and that is where the truck is located. Please contact me with any questions before bidding! Thank you and Happy bidding, Trevor

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat en route to dealers

Sat, 15 Nov 2014

Get ready, world: The 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has officially been unleashed. But rather than just have the big coupes quietly arrive at dealers, Dodge has released this video, showing Hellcats loading up onto car carriers at Fiat-Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario plant. And yes, that is Mötley Crüe's "Kickstart My Heart" playing in the background. Of course.
This really is worth all the fanfare, though, considering Dodge will sell its ridiculously powerful, supercharged machine for just $59,995. And if the Challenger isn't quite up your alley, just remember, there's an equally powerful, 204-mph, four-door Charger Hellcat on the way...

Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites

Sun, Jan 7 2024

Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.

Dodge Durango Shaker concept: A 392 V8 in front of six Viper seats

Tue, Nov 1 2016

When done right, a parts-bin special can be a beautiful thing. This Dodge Durango Shaker concept for the 2016 SEMA show is one such vehicle, and it's easily our favorite Mopar debuting in Vegas. The key, of course, is pulling from the right bins. Take a tour and you'll see Charger, Challenger, and Viper pieces grafted onto this slick crossover. The featured special part is the big, 6.4-liter 392 Hemi V8 that's been dropped under the hood; it's sourced from the SRT Challenger and Charger where it makes 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. With that in place, the fabricators cut a big hole in that hood for the Challenger's awesome optional shaker scoop. It wasn't an easy installation; it required a custom spacer for the intake to make sure everything lined up with the hole properly. View 17 Photos Apparently there were some Viper seats lying around, so six of them were stuck into this Durango. Makes sense. It does lose a bit of people-carrying capability as a result, since only two seats fit in each row, and the seats don't fold for extra cargo room. A Dodge spokesperson attested to the fact that all three rows are usable, if not totally comfortable. But then stock third-row seats aren't always that comfortable anyway. Seriously, though, Viper seats. We don't care how comfortable or usable the result is. Although you might not give it a second thought, even the fuel filler needed some special attention. This piece was also lifted from a Dodge Challenger, and it was taken along with the surrounding sheet metal. Because of the different orientation of the filler cover on the Challenger, the builders decided the easiest way to get it to fit was to chop the fuel filler section out and weld it onto the Durango. The designers also put a little blue Stig on the cover. And those are just the cool parts that were hard to install. This Durango features plenty of other slick details, like the custom bumpers, fender flares, and side skirts. Everything is painted B5 Blue with matte black and carbon accents all around. Up front, the bumper hides a pair of fog lights stolen from a Challenger Hellcat – and yes, they're the ones with intakes in the middle. The grille is also a custom piece, losing the standard crosshair design for better airflow. The fender flares cover up some seriously wide, 305-section tires at all four corners, which are hauled down by Hellcat brakes. The rear bumper bumper contains a stylish center-exit exhaust with dual tips.
