I'm putting my truck up for sale.Truck is great, it has high miles but the way it runs and drives I'd swear it had been rebuilt. Clear NY title (I just moved back to MA). No liens no bull. It was originally a PA truck before I got it in NY. When I got it out in NY it had ~248,500 miles it now has 251,xxx. Starts without issues runs and drives like the hemi beast it is. A/C is cold. Private Party value in Fair Condition with 252,000 miles is $11,173.

Known issues: (this will all reflect in the price and then some)
It was clearly a work truck so it's got it's small dings in it.
The rear end needs "whale sperm" additive put in to be perfectly smoothe
A little exhaust leak sound not sure where

Stock:
17" chrome wheels in good condition with 285/70/17 (33") tires (tires are pretty gone but good for a little fun if you so choose).
Power drivers seat
5.7L 345hp Hemi motor
Tow Package
Front bumper has towing thing that works well for pulling shrubs and such
Fog Lights
Sliding Rear Window
4x4 that works great (4x4 on the floor so no need to manually lock hubs)
Woodgrain dash

Additions since I bought it:
Hard Tonneau Cover (needs shocks to hold it up or just use a rake like I did)
Seat Covers Front and Rear
Aftermarket Radio with MP3, Ipod, and Aux cable capability
Wired for a subwoofer system (I have a system in the truck for a little extra if wanted)
Dodge floor mats in the front
Dodge steering wheel cover
K&N Cold Air intake
22" Black Wheels with chrome caps (305/40/22 load range E tires in good condition) just put on about a week ago.
DeeZee Side Steps (chrome 3")

In all honesty the truck is great but I just don't need a truck. I want to sell it to someone who will get the use out of it thy it deserves. You won't regret buying this truck.

My price is 7,000/Bo cash only priced for quick sale. Mind you it's value in fair is $11k I'm asking way under that and that's to cover anything it may need. Because of the mileage it's sold as-is. Whoever buys will be very happy with this truck. I've driven it from buffalo to the south shore 2.5 times with no issues that's about 1500 miles.

Viper fans are at the Nurburgring to reclaim production-car speed record

Fri, Jul 21 2017

With the outgoing generation of the Viper, Dodge missed a fabulous opportunity to set another Nurburgring lap record. The company did it, twice, with the previous-generation Viper ACR, but never went back with the latest ACR, and it definitely won't now that the car is being discontinued. This is why a group of Viper fans began fundraising back in January to take ACRs to the 'Ring for one more shot at glory. And, right now, that group is in Germany preparing for the attempt. The team made it thanks to support from GoFundMe donors, and sponsorship from Kumho Tires and Prefix, a design and prototype company based in Michigan. They're using two Viper ACR GTS-R commemorative-edition cars, which are appropriate for competing track cars since they have the same white-with-blue-stripes color scheme as Dodge's old Viper GTS-R racecars. The cars are supplied from ViperExchange and BJ Motors and equipped with Kumho Ecsta V720 tires. According to the group's Facebook page, the team has been practicing since Wednesday, July 19. A video posted today highlighted that the only mechanical issue so far has been an overheating problem that was solved with a new thermostat. Each car is running a different suspension setup for practice - one soft, the other hard - and they'll adjust them as needed. The plan is that both cars will use the same setup on the record attempt. To claim the record without any argument will require beating the 6:45.9 time set by the Nio EP9 electric car. Right behind it is the Radical SR8LM, which is technically street-legal, but not really a street car. It set a time of 6:48. As for true street cars with gasoline engines, the target the Viper team will really want to beat is the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, which pulled off a time of 6:52. You can track the team's progress at its Facebook page. Related Video: Image Credit: Dodge Auto News Motorsports Dodge Coupe Performance Supercars dodge viper acr nio ep9

EV cost burden pushing automakers to their limits, says Stellantis' CEO Tavares

Wed, Dec 1 2021

DETROIT — Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said external pressure on automakers to quickly shift to electric vehicles potentially threatens jobs and vehicle quality as producers struggle with EVs' higher costs. Governments and investors want car manufacturers to speed up the transition to electric vehicles, but the costs are "beyond the limits" of what the auto industry can sustain, Tavares said in an interview at the Reuters Next conference released Wednesday. "What has been decided is to impose on the automotive industry electrification that brings 50% additional costs against a conventional vehicle," he said. "There is no way we can transfer 50% of additional costs to the final consumer because most parts of the middle class will not be able to pay." Automakers could charge higher prices and sell fewer cars, or accept lower profit margins, Tavares said. Those paths both lead to cutbacks. Union leaders in Europe and North America have warned tens of thousands of jobs could be lost. Automakers need time for testing and ensuring that new technology will work, Tavares said. Pushing to speed that process up "is just going to be counter productive. It will lead to quality problems. It will lead to all sorts of problems," he said. Tavares said Stellantis is aiming to avoid cuts by boosting productivity at a pace far faster than industry norm. "Over the next five years we have to digest 10% productivity a year ... in an industry which is used to delivering 2 to 3% productivity" improvement, he said. "The future will tell us who is going to be able to digest this, and who will fail," Tavares said. "We are putting the industry on the limits." Electric vehicle costs are expected to fall, and analysts project that battery electric vehicles and combustion vehicles could reach cost parity during the second half of this decade. Like other automakers that earn profits from combustion vehicles, Stellantis is under pressure from both establishment automakers such as GM, Ford, VW and Hyundai, as well as start-ups such as Tesla and Rivian. The latter electric vehicle companies are far smaller in terms of vehicle sales and employment. But investors have given Tesla and Rivian higher market valuations than the owner of the highly profitable Jeep and Ram brands. That investor pressure is compounded by government policies aimed at cutting greenhouse gas emissions. The European Union, California and other jurisdictions have set goals to end sales of combustion vehicles by 2035.

2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody | First Run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Mon, Jul 17 2017

In addition to driving the Dodge Demon, we also had a chance to sample the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody last week. We drove it on the famed infield road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We're not at liberty to give you our impressions just yet, but you can experience the sights and sounds of the 707-horsepower Hellcat Widebody in the above video. Thanks for watching. Check back on Wednesday, July 19, to read about the experience.
