This would make a great graduation present! Great looking and very sexy 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Shortbed 4x4 Lifted. Truck is 10 years old with 175,000 miles. 5.7 Liter Hemi Engine that runs strong. Truck shifts like new and tracks straight as an arrow going down the road. This truck has no fluid leaks at all. Ice cold A/C. Flow Master exhaust that sounds loud and mean. Everything works on this truck. Power windows and locks. Windows are tinted. AM/FM CD. Factory chrome rims on Big O tires. Tires are one year old cost $2000 to buy & install. Tow package. Weather Guard tool box that locks (2 keys). 4x4 works like it should. 20 miles since new air-filter, oil change, tire rotation, and front end alignment. 75 miles since new O2 sensors and new power steering pump. This truck is 10 years old but still gets compliments and turns heads wherever we go in it. We own 6 vehicles and are down sizing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this truck. This is a great looking and strong running truck.
We don't want you to have any surprises with this truck so here goes full disclosure. There is a report showing unibody damage on this truck. Not sure where that comes from. We have the CarFax that we will show you which lists no such thing and we will buy a new CarFax for the buyer before final payment is made showing that there is no unibody damage reported. This truck has been worked in, hunted in and had fun in. It is NOT brand new. As with any 10 year old vehicle there are some scratches here and there and a few small dings, dents and dog scratches (Look at photos). Also this truck was backed into by a vehicle in a grocery store parking lot in 2012 and has a very small dent in the back right fender (hardly noticable, see photo). At one time there was a Diamond Plate Bed Rail installed and the marks are still visible along the bed railing. Driver's seat has small cigarette burns (see photo). They are not visible when you are in the seat. Interior is clean otherwise. One rim has a small dent along the edge of the rim. Again, there is nothing wrong with this truck. You drive it and you will fall in love with it. Truck has Flow Master exhaust and the catalytic converter has been removed to give it that great sound and extra horse power. This means the check engine light stays on but its only because the catalytic converter is gone. I can give you our mechanics name and number to verify this. New converter is $275 installed if you want the light off. We have a clean title in hand. Truck is also for sale locally so we will end this auction if it gets sold.
Winning buyer will pick up truck at our home in Georgetown, Indiana or arrange for shipping at their expense. A $500 PayPal deposit is required immediately after the auction has ended and the remainder of the money owed must be in cash (NO CHECKS, EVEN BANK CHECKS) when buyer comes for vehicle.

2016 Dodge Viper ACR racks up lap records
Thu, Nov 5 2015With 645 horsepower and an adjustable spoiler nearly six feet wide, the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR would look at home on the runways of most any airport, air base, or aircraft carrier in the world. But it's not built for the runway. It's built for the race track. And it has positively mastered them one after another. In fact, the new Viper ACR has not only beat the lap times of its own predecessor as it set out to, but took the production-car lap record at 13 tracks across the country. The endeavor started out at the Inde Motorsport Ranch in Arizona, where development engineer Chris "The Wolf" Winkler set a lap time of 1:33.75 on the Configuration 4 track to beat every other street-legal vehicle to ever lap the circuit. Then it was off to Buttonwillow, the MotorSport Ranch (in Cresson, TX), Big Willow, VIR, Grattan, Pittsburg, GingerMan, the Motown Mile, Nelson Ledges, Waterford Hills, and Road Atlanta. And with the new American Club Racer, Dodge took the lap record at each and every one. The journey culminated just days ago at Laguna Seca, where track expert Randy Pobst climbed into the Viper ACR and set a lap time of 1:28.65. That's 5.27 seconds faster than the previous ACR's time, and 1.24 seconds faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder that held the record until now. The sum total is a bragging-rights sheet of lap records set at 13 tracks across these United States. And you don't have to take Dodge's word on that. The records have been certified by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), cementing the ACR's place in the record books. Nice work if you can get it, and you can scope it out in the video above and press release below. Junkyard Gem: 1986 Dodge Ram 50
Mon, Apr 8 2024After years of selling the Isuzu Faster with Chevrolet LUV badges here, GM replaced it with the S-10 in 1982. Ford sold Mazda Proceeds with Courier badges for even more years, but ditched the Courier once the Ranger became available as a 1983 model. Chrysler was able to put truck beds on Omnirizons at that time, but didn't have the deep pockets to develop its own rear-wheel-drive small pickup; for this reason, Dodge-badged Mitsubishi Forte pickups continued to be available in the United States all the way through the 1994 model year. Here's one of those trucks, found in a Colorado car graveyard. The first Chrysler-imported Mitsubishi Fortes showed up in the United States as 1979 models. The Dodge-badged version was known as the D-50, while Plymouth dealers got theirs with Arrow badges. The Dodge D-50 became the Ram 50 for the 1981 model year, while the final Plymouth Arrow trucks were sold as 1982 models. Just to make things more interesting, Mitsubishi started selling its own vehicles in the United States beginning with the 1983 model year. That meant that the Ram 50 had to compete for sales with a near-identical twin sporting Mitsubishi badges. Things in the Chrysler-Mitsubishi universe got even more exciting a bit later, when there were four marques selling essentially the same car here simultaneously: the Mitsubishi Mirage, Plymouth Colt, Dodge Colt and Eagle Summit. All of the Dodge D-50s and Ram 50s came with Mitsubishi power under their hoods. This one has a 2.0-liter SOHC straight-four rated at 88 horsepower and 108 pound-feet. For a while, a 2.3-liter Mitsubishi diesel was available in the Ram 50. It had been discontinued by 1986, however. This one has the base five-speed manual transmission. It appears that this truck was being used for long-term storage of many, many boxes of random household stuff when it was banished to this place. Much of the stuff was scattered on the ground nearby. Perhaps it was parked at a rent-a-storage facility and got evicted for lack of rent payments. Much of the contents consisted of stacks of newspapers and magazines from the 1960s and 1970s. Here's an Art Buchwald column about then-Vice President Spiro Agnew from February 23, 1971. Here's a Beetle Bailey strip from the same year. There's plenty of history in the junkyard, if you know where to look. There must have been a half-ton of paper in this truck when it arrived here. Sadly, some family's photo albums were here as well.
2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Quick Spin
Thu, Jun 18 2015"Scat Pack" is plucked from The Big Book of Dodge Nameplates to describe what is basically the average of the Charger R/T and Charger SRT 392. Unnecessary horsepower always seems to go down better with a dose of heritage. If you think it's a silly name, just be thankful Dodge didn't call it an S/RT or an R/T-S. In previous years, a similar formulation was known as the SRT8 Super Bee. Going by another name, it's still as sweet and wears the same hurried-looking pollinator on the grille. We do wonder: What has displeased him so, and why does he have wings and wheels? The packaging is at least fresh. All Chargers get updates for 2015, including improved interiors and a Dart-on-steroids exterior redo. The new lines work especially well on the more aggressive models, including this Scat Pack car. Like the Super Bee before it, the Scat Pack gets the 6.4-liter engine from SRT 392; for 2015 it gets a slight output boost to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, respective increases of 15 and 5. It does without the SRT three-mode suspension and comes with cloth seats (leather is an option) to keep the price down. The Scat Pack also has slightly smaller Brembo front brakes, narrower wheels, and different rubber. It does, however, cost eight grand less and is just as quick in a straight line. Intriguing. Driving Notes Scat Pack cars get an electronically controlled active exhaust that we'd call hyperactive. It's loud all the time, opening its widest at startup, idle, and when you ask for any appreciable amount of power. Sport mode supposedly makes a difference, but we couldn't discern loud from louder. It's a delicious and appropriate loudness, with a brassy trumpet tone to it, and the engine makes top-fuel noises at full tilt. The squeal of the rear tires can be heard from every stoplight no matter the road conditions. A light touch avoids leaving a mark if you're so inclined. We weren't. When the tires eventually smear into the realm of traction, this thing is pretty quick – hitting 60 miles per hour takes 4.5 seconds. There's also an adjustable launch control mode if you want to cut out some of the wheelspin. The eight-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Quicker, more-palpable shifts are had in Sport mode, but occasionally the transmission still needs a moment to drop down from seventh or eighth when you mash the throttle. Despite its two overdrive gears, this Charger is still loud on the highway. In a good way. Probably.
