Up for auction is a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 Extendedcab SLT 4x4. The truck has 158,000 miles which is just getting broke in forthese Cummins engines. The engine starts up and runs great, she has a lot ofpower. I bought this truck from a diesel mechanic and as a daily driver butdecided to start building it up. Just had my first son last week and realizedthe truck is not going to be practical without having a club cab hinse thereason for sale.
It has an HX 40 turbo with a bigger intake.
The fuel pump is turned up and fuel plate is shavedat #100 were it has the little sliver on the bottom with advanced timing. Yesit rolls the coal but gets decent fuel mileage if you’re easy on it.
It was an automatic and had the 5 speed conversionkit done right. I just put a new clutch in 2 months ago.
It has a full 5" MDRP all the way back with a4" downpipe from turbo.
It has a BD exhaust brake with the switch on thegear shift and works amazingly. Hardly ever haft to use your brakes with it on.
It has adjustistable rear suspension air bags and they work nice when hauling.
The carrier bearing started getting a lil loose so Ireplaced that 2 weeks ago.
New serpentine belt, water pump, front wheelbearings rotors shoes and pads all last summer.
It has a 4" lift kit with 36x12.5x16 MickeyThompson Baja Claws on it right now but I also have a set of 17" rims thatgo along with the truck(tires are shot).
The bed is rhino lined as well as the whole bottomof the truck.
As for interior it’s not the greatest due it beinga daily driver but it just needs cleaned up. The driver’s seat as a whole but thatabout it.
Boost pressure and exhaust temp gauges.
The truck has its little kinks but can be very verynice truck with little work.
It needs a fuel shutoff solenoid
The fuel gauge is off by a quarter and the Speedois off due to the bigger tires.
The 4x4 works awesome it just needs a new universalso the front driveshaft is in the bed at the moment. Hasn’t had the time to putit back in.
The door lock actuator went out on the driver’sside door and will need a new one.
The rust isn’t that bad for being a 97 but it coulduse some work such as both rocker panels and the driver’s side rear cabcorner(saw it was a lil rusty when I had it on the lift 2 months ago when I putthe clutch in)
The truck is quick, gets up and goes, and will pull anything, even with what work has beendone to it now. I know there is some things that I’m forgetting and I haven’thad it dynode yet but I’m guessing it’s around 450+ horse and you can see the gaugebuild 50 psi of boost with no problem when you want it to. She has a lot ofpotential just not right in my circumstances and I hate to get rid of it butfamily comes first. I’m selling the truck as is because of it being a 97.Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
I appoligize for the pictures and the confusion on the tires. The truck currently has the 36" micky T's on it with 16 in rims. It also comes with a set of 17" rims with smaller tires(as in most of the pictures) but the tires are shot. Thanks

Trump tells Detroit 3 CEOs he wants more US jobs, calls environmentalists 'out of control'
Tue, Jan 24 2017As expected, President Donald J. Trump met with top executives from FCA, Ford, and General Motors this morning as part of a larger push to generate jobs in America. "I want new plants to be built here for cars sold here!", Trump said in a tweet ahead of the meeting. Not everything said in the meeting was made public, but the President later tweeted that he had a "Great meeting with automobile industry leaders." FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne, Ford chief Mark Fields, and GM's Mary Barra all echoed the positive vibes after the meeting. In a statement, Barra called the discussion "very constructive and wide-ranging," adding that it focused on "policies that support a strong and competitive economy and auto industry," and "that supports the environment and safety." That's noteworthy, because Trump is reported to have said "I am to a large extent an environmentalist. I believe in it, but it's out of control." Fields, speaking to reporters after the meeting, said, "We're excited about working together with the president and his administration on tax policies, on regulation and on trade to really create a renaissance in American manufacturing." The Ford CEO was specifically talking about Trump's withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. "We've repeatedly said that the mother of all trade barriers is currency manipulation, and TPP failed in meaningfully dealing with that, and we appreciate the president's courage to walk away from a bad trade deal," he said. Marchionne focused on American manufacturing in his statement after the meeting. "I appreciate the President's focus on making the US a great place to do business. We look forward to working with President Trump and members of Congress to strengthen American manufacturing." Perhaps equally as interesting as what was said and who was invited are what wasn't said and who wasn't invited. Trump has been very vocal about his distaste for US automakers' plants in Mexico, but no mention was made of the North American Free Trade Agreement by Trump or any of the Detroit CEOs after the meeting. We also have to wonder if Trump plans to meet with representatives from German, Japanese, and Korean automakers that have made massive investments into American plants and produce a large number of cars in this country. Weekly Recap: Ferrari plans to gradually increase production by 2019
Sat, Oct 17 2015Ferrari has long been known for the exclusivity of its performance machines. It's on a different level than Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes. But as it transitions to a new era of independence from Fiat Chrysler, Ferrari is going to get a little less exclusive. It's by design, and it means a subtle, slow ramp-up of production – a move Ferrari believes will ensure its future by meeting growing demand in new markets. The strategy was detailed in SEC documents filed this month as part of the company's pending stock offering. The files reveal Ferrari will gradually increase shipments to about 9,000 units per year by 2019. This is a reversal of Ferrari's 2013 plans to cap production at 7,000 cars annually, which it hit on the nose that year. Ferrari shipments inched up to 7,255 in 2014, though that's down from 2012's record tally of 7,405. Ferrari is a vastly different operation than it was in 2013. Longtime chairman Luca di Montezemolo stepped down last fall, and FCA chief executive Sergio Marchionne has been overseeing the company since then. Its IPO has attracted high levels of attention from enthusiasts and investors. As expected, demand has reportedly outstripped the availability of the stock, which has an estimated offering price of $48 to $52 a share. Speaking of more Ferraris, the company revealed a limited-edition model this week called the F12tdf (shown above). Based on the F12 Berlinetta, the car is a salute to the Tour de France endurance auto race that Ferrari dominated in the 1950s and '60s. The V12 engine's output increases to 769 horsepower, while weight is cut by 243 pounds – allowing for a sprint to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. Dramatic carbon-fiber elements and a radical redesign of the body panels give the F12 a more dramatic look. It will be limited to 799 units over the life of the car. If this is how Ferrari is increasing production, we're more than okay with the company's new strategy. OTHER NEWS & NOTES Tesla software unlocks Autopilot features Tesla released the latest version of its software for the Model S this week, which allows the all-electric sedan to drive in a semi-autonomous state called Autopilot. Tesla Version 7.0 enables the Model S to maintain lane position, change lanes by touching the turn signal, and manage the car's speed using an advanced, traffic-sensing cruise control. It also has a parallel parking feature, which searches for open spots and then parks your Tesla.
Watch a Dodge Viper driver show off his V10 all the way into a wall
Mon, Apr 11 2016Has there ever been a show-off video that doesn't end terribly? This video clip captured with a cellphone shows the driver of a neon green Viper GTS giving a fellow motorist a couple throttle blips to signify his intent – which seems to be to crash the Viper into a concrete wall as quickly as possible. It's not pretty. The mean machine seems to be a second-generation Viper GTS in Stryker Green. To our knowledge, no photos have surfaced of the aftermath, so we wish both the driver and their most-likely bruised ego a speedy recovery. Who knows, maybe the Viper is also salvageable.
