I have for sale a 1995 Dodge Ram quad cab 4wd long bed 5.9 Cummins automatic pickup. The truck is green in color with grayish cloth interior. The body is in good condition other than the paint coming off on the bed in spots as is common with dodges, and some fading on the driver side rear door. There is absolutely No rust other than a spot on the rear bumper where apparently dirt gathered and caused it to rust. I am the only owner and have had the truck in Huntsville Tx since it was new. The interior is in very good condition, other than the carpet needing cleaning, there is a tear on the passenger seat where you get in and out. It has a new dash, not just a cap,  a new dash from the dodge dealer so it has zero cracks in it. The AC is cold, cruise, tilt, power windows and locks all work with the exception of the driver side door lock, it needs a new actuator ($40). The tires have approximately 3/4 of their tread left and are mounted on a set of factory chrome wheels. It also has a sliding rear window. The truck has 281k miles on it. The transmission was rebuilt at 185,000 and works perfectly. The tappet cover which is on the left side of the engine is leaking slowly, the gasket for the tappet cover is $30 and takes about 2 hrs to change. I also installed a new aluminum radiator so it will not corrode. I am selling it because I just don't drive it any more. I live in dallas and the truck is in Huntsville. It hadn't been started in 6 months, so I reciently  went to Huntsville, turned it over, it started right up, I then hooked the boat to it and drove it to the lake and went fishing. I have a friend who can show it to you and can go with you if you want to test drive it.
I can send you more pics if you would like them. You can call or text me at 936-661-7449. Ask for Ken

New Dodge Charger SRT Widebody likely teased in brief video

Wed, Jun 26 2019

This morning, we saw a new, extremely brief teaser for a new version of the Dodge Charger SRT. We don't know exactly what the car is, but rumors and spy shots suggest that the big sedan could be getting the same treatment as the multiple Dodge Challenger widebody models. The teaser of course cuts just before you can see anything truly telling, but there are a few details we can glean. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the full reveal. The car appears to be painted B5 Blue, one of a number of knockout colors in FCA's portfolio. Through the cover we can see that the car gets the upgraded grille that we saw last summer. A pair of inlets helps feed more air into the engine bay. The lower intakes on the front bumper appear to be all new and much larger than anything else we've seen on the Charger so far. It's unclear what exactly that means, but it does give an already bold design an even more aggressive appearance. Over the past couple of years, Dodge revealed widebody versions of the Challenger R/T Scat Pack, Hellcat, Hellcat Redeye and the widebody only Dodge Demon. Each car is faster and more powerful than the last. The bulging fenders allow for a revised suspension setup, wider wheels and tires and a wider track for more stable handling. It makes an already big car even bigger, though you do get genuine improvements when it comes to performance handling.

Marchionne on Alfa's US return, Dodge Dart's powertrain weakness and minivan plans

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

As a reporter covering an auto show, the one opportunity you never want to miss is going to the Sergio Marchionne press briefing.
"This undertaking to bring Alfa back is a one-shot deal... We are not going to do this twice."
There just aren't that many real characters left in the auto industry. Marchionne, who sits atop both Chrysler and Fiat, is not only one of the smartest execs in the business, but also the most frank. Herein, a sample of the quotable always-sweatered executive:

The final-year Viper special editions sold out so fast Dodge is adding more

Fri, Jul 1 2016

Viper collectors don't mess around. After Dodge opened ordering for its 25th anniversary 2017 Viper models – some of the last ones that will be built – all of the cars were spoken for in just five days. The company managed to sell 206 cars, an average of about 41 per day. Compare that to the 241 Vipers sold through May of this year and you can see why special editions make good business sense. Demand was so strong that Dodge will add a sixth special-edition for the Viper's last year of production. Within the group of five initial special packages, the winner was the 1:28 Edition ACR; all 28 went in 40 minutes. Dodge sold the 31 VooDoo II Edition ACRs in two hours, while 25 Snakeskin Edition GTCs and 100 GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACRs took two days to sell out. The 22 Dodge Dealer Edition ACRs took five days – apparently the dealers were too busy taking orders for the other 184 cars they didn't have time to order their own. The additional anniversary car is called the Snakeskin ACR. Dodge will build "up to" 31 of them, which we're pretty sure means exactly 31 if the previous demand is any indicator. The count matches the 2010 run of Snakeskin ACRs and will take the final-edition total to 237. We don't have any photos of that one yet, but you can get a good idea of what it will look like from the Snakeskin GTC. This one features Snakeskin Green paint, obviously, with a custom snakeskin-patterned SRT stripe, the ACR Package, the Extreme Aero Package, carbon-ceramic brakes, the ACR interior, a serialized Snakeskin badge on the instrument panel, and a custom car cover with the owner's name by the door. It will be available to order in the middle of this month, which means it will be sold out well by the end of the month. Chances are these and many of the others will go to mega-collectors like Wayne and D'Ann Rauh of Texas, who, at last count, owned 79 Vipers. Seventy-nine. Like we said, Viper collectors don't mess around. Related Video:
