This First Gen Cummins is in really good shape. It wouldn't take much to restore her back to show room status. I use this truck as my daily driver and would not hesitate to drive it any where, it's super dependable. Yes, you can get mileage in the 20s if you know how to drive it. This truck has lots of horsepower and if you drive it like a teenager, your fuel cost will reflect that, so I make no promises when it comes to MPG. I make my own fuel, so MPG doesn't matter to me that much, I'll show you how to if you're interested. The 4X4 works great! There's tons of pulling power, runs very smooth and the automatic tranny shifts fantastic. DOES NOT slip in and out of overdrive like all the rest. I've done a lot of modifications and maintenance. Oil and fuel filter changed every 4,000 miles with Rotella 15W-40 and NAPA Gold filters. I live on a dusty road so I always run a pre-filter on my air filter.

PROS:
New brake pads
New Master cylinder
Valves Recently adjusted
less than 3,000 mi. on all six +40 hp injectors
New 16cm turbo housing
Custom air intake, no stock air box
New 4" turbo back straight exhaust
New tires
Rear end rebuilt
Does not use oil between oil changes
No rips, tares, or sag in interior
Seats lay all the way back and are the most comfortable seats of any truck I've ever rode in.
CD Player
A/C blows cold, heater blows hot
Has Block Heater, but still starts when it's cold
Sturdy suspension, leaf springs all around
Power windows, power locks, lights and wipers all work
Perfect prepper vehicle because you can make your own fuel.
Does not use oil between oil changes
Solid sturdy frame

Cons:
Cruise control not working
some scratches and minor dents (pictured)
Two surface rust spots, not bad yet (pictured)
Rock hit windshield (pictured)
No tailgate
I do find a small amount of oil under it from time to time, but pretty sure it's coming from the power steering pump.

Diesel tank and toolbox not included in sale. Feel free to call or text me with questions any time between 8AM and 9PM MST at (406) 214-8419 leave message if I don't answer. Truck is located in Kalispell, Montana.
I am also listing this truck locally and therefore I reserve the right to end this auction if I need to. Deposit must be received within 24 hours of auction end or item will be re-listed, and full payment must be received within 7 days of auction end or item will be re-listed and deposit will not be refunded. Please don't bid if you're not a serious buyer. You're welcome to come look at it and drive it before you bid on it, otherwise the truck is sold as is. Thanks

Dodge Demon exorcised by Rhys Millen in new video

Tue, Aug 15 2017

When you call your car something like the Demon, it provides plenty of opportunity to play around with the name ͗ especially when said car has 840 horsepower directed to the rear wheels. Pennzoil is doing just that in the above video, called "Exorcising the Demon." In it, Rhys Millen tears up the streets of Pittsburgh at night in a black and yellow Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, smoking tires, popping wheelies and breaking the rear end loose in massive drifts around corners. He even pulls a pretty hairy 360. It's certainly a lot different sort of driving from the straight-line drag-strip experience for which the Dodge Demon was purpose-built. At the end of the video, Millen parks the car below a gargoyle, whose eyes briefly glow a menacing red. Millen sends a text message saying "The Demon is back in its place." The response: "Das good. How are you in the Ring?" (Hmm.) Then the clip ends, and we're told the story will be continued. If you don't want to wait for more cinematic Demon action, you can check out Pennzoil's behind-the-scenes video, called, "Unleashing Unprecedented Power." In it, we get to see more angles of the stunt driving, hear about the production, and, of course, get a plug for Pennzoil: This content is hosted by a third party. Pennzoil also offers a few other Dodge Demon videos, one about the car's development, one about its performance, and a third focused on Pennzoil Synthetics. Earlier this year, Pennzoil also did a similar video series to bid farewell to the Dodge Viper. Marchionne may stay with FCA until 2020

Mon, Aug 31 2015

We might get to see Sergio Marchionne and his vast array of sweaters in the auto industry for even longer than expected. The FCA CEO suggested last year that he would retire from the automaker when its current five-year plan was complete in 2018. Now, he has tentatively extended that point out to at least 2020. "I can do this for another five years if you push me, right? Beyond that, I ain't gonna do it, and I don't want to," he said to Automotive News. That would give Marchionne a 16-year career at the top from joining Fiat in 2004 to possibly leaving FCA in 2020. Although, take the CEO's statement with a grain of salt because he has made multiple statements about the timing for his retirement. In 2012, Marchionne said he would only remain in charge until 2015, which is, well, now. Those five years might also go quite quickly because Marchionne is a busy guy with the Ferrari IPO, the attempted merger with General Motors, implementing FCA's five-year plan, and many other projects. He's already considering the next CEO, though. "My purpose in life is to find the Kuniskises of the world, the Manleys, the Biglands, the Palmers," Marchionne said to Automotive News, referencing the heads at Dodge, Jeep, FCA North America, and the company's chief financial officer, respectively. "I told them, 'One of you is going to do what I do one day. I don't know who that is, but one of you is going to do it.'"
