Hello diesel family and friends, here is a quick snapshot if what I'm about and my policy's please read over to get a feel for what I'm doing and please let me know if you have any other concerns. my name is Tom my wife and I have been licensed PA new and used Truck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rot and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to California and other west coast states, and deep in the south to buy a few creampuff 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast to folks who have never seen a no rust old vehicles. Trust me they are not cheep, but worth the extra if you can swing it. I'm doing something different here this week since I need room on the lot this truck will be sold to the high bidder reguardless what the high bid is, if at the end its a grand its sold, if its 2,3 4 10 20 grand its sold, it will go to some luck owner and must be sold. Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.
