GETS THE GIRLS!!!
HONEST!!!

LOL, oK ok!!! I ADMIT, THAT WAS A PLOY TO GET YOUR ATTENTION... DID IT WORK???
YOU STILL WITH ME?
GOOD!

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE TRUCK!

It is a 1997 Chevy 1500, single cab, 4 wheel drive, 318 engine- strong engine!, Automatic transmission, And, it has just enough lift to be cool! And the tires are downright decent- lookin almost as good as new!
OH, and it belonged to my friends Dad- an older man til a year ago, when he passed away.
The truck sat for a year, and when my friend took it home- thinking she would fix it up for herself, it started acting up, so she had a number of things done to it- at the recommendation of a shady mechanic that cleaned her out! She has receipts for all of the new parts, but, now can't afford to finish the work on it! Sooo,  I called an Army mechanic friend of mine- told him the symptoms... YOU START IT UP- AND IT RUNS GREAT- TIL IT WARMS UP- THEN IT SHUTS OFF! And, he told me it was vapor locking, which he said was not a big deal to fix- but, he is in another state, and the truck is here...
AND FOR SALE!
AND, HERE IS A LIST OF THE NEW PARTS THAT HAVE BEEN PUT ON IT:
FUEL PUMP
BRAIN
DISTRIBUTOR COIL
COIL PACK
CRANK SHAFT SENSOR
RADIATOR
BATTERY
AND, A NEW DASH!!!
WOULDN'T WANNA ACCUSE ANYONE OF GOING OVERBOARD!!!

SO THERE YA HAVE IT, THIS LITTLE TRUCK COULD BE PRETTY COOL WITH MINIMAL EFFORT AND CASH!

BUT, IT IS NOT GOING TO LAST! GET IN ON THIS WHILE YOU CAN!!!

THANKS FOR LOOKING!

AND
THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHOPPING WITH
BIG MOMMA!!!\

The Grand Caravan, at least the name, isn't dead yet in Canada

Mon, Jul 20 2020

Last week we got Stellantis. This week, we’re learning that the Grand Caravan name isnÂ’t actually dead. ItÂ’s just moved to Canada. Allow us to explain. The Dodge Grand Caravan is well and truly gone. However, FCA has decided the name is too good not to use. Therefore, FCA Canada just announced that Canadians will get the Chrysler Grand Caravan for the 2021 model year. One look at the photos will tell you most everything you need to know about the van. ItÂ’s a rebadged Chrysler Voyager, which itself is a budget Chrysler Pacifica by a different name. Basically, the U.S. gets the Voyager, and Canada gets the Grand Caravan. “WeÂ’re incredibly proud to maintain the ‘Grand CaravanÂ’ nameplate exclusively in the Canadian marketplace,” said David Buckingham, President and CEO, FCA Canada. “Particularly here in Canada, that name has become synonymous with affordable, safe and innovative family transportation that the 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan builds upon.” Now that the Voyager and Caravan are the same again, the next logical step would be to bring back Plymouth, right? Rebadged Plymouth Hellcats wouldnÂ’t bother us. Just Â… you know, an idea. Canadian customers will have the choice of two trims for the Grand Caravan: Base and SXT. Similar to the U.S., upper trim levels of the van will be called Pacifica. The two will be sold alongside each other at Chrysler dealerships. Photos of the Pacifica with the Grand Caravan badge already have us a little weirded out, but now youÂ’ll know whatÂ’s going on during your next trip up north when you see a Chrysler Grand Caravan roll by. Stellantis and Foxconn's new joint venture will focus on connectivity

Wed, May 19 2021

MILAN — Carmaker Stellantis and TaiwanÂ’s Foxconn announced plans to develop a jointly operated automotive supplier focusing on technology to make vehicles more connected, including artificial intelligence-based applications and 5G communications. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said the services that will be developed through the tie-up “will mark the next great evolution of our industry,” alongside fully electrified and hybrid powertrains. The deal brings together Stellantis, the worldÂ’s 4th-largest automaker formed this year by the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Peugeot, and Foxconn, a major supplier of iPhones. The companies said the venture would focus on such services as infotainment, the integration of telecommunications and computer systems, artificial intelligence-based applications, 5G communications, e-commerce channels and smart cockpit integration. The companies announced a non-binding memorandum of understanding to form a 50-50 joint venture called Mobile Drive, which will be based in the Netherlands and function as an automotive supplier also to other carmakers. The new venture will combine advanced consumer electronics, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) to create new services “that will exceed customer expectations,” the companies said in a release. “Customers today and, in the future, demand and expect ever-increasing software-driven and creative solutions to connect the drivers and passengers with the vehicle inside and out,Â’Â’ Foxconn Chairman Young Liu. Dodge Challenger Shakedown: '71 body, new guts

Tue, Nov 1 2016

While Jeep has created a number of vintage-bodied custom vehicles with modern components, this year's SEMA show plays host to Dodge's take on the idea. The Shakedown concept began life as a 1971 Challenger and ditched almost everything in it, including the engine and chassis. What's left is a modern car with a retro look. The chassis was a particularly complicated part of the job, since the Challenger was originally a unibody car. However, Dodge chose to separate the Challenger's iconic body from its structural parts, and moved it onto a custom, one-off chassis from which the body can be removed as needed. The chassis also carries lowered suspension, Challenger Hellcat brakes, and a 6.4-liter 392 Hemi V8 connected to a six-speed manual transmission from the Viper. Dodge also installed the engine using the new Hemi engine swap kit from Mopar. With the shaker cold-air intake and custom exhaust, the Shakedown's powerplant makes 485 horsepower. View 13 Photos The body itself received plenty of tweaking as well. Dodge shaved off the drip rails, door handles, and turn signals for a cleaner look, and also fitted the grille, headlights, and taillights from a 2017 Challenger. The whole thing is finished in matte black paint with a "vibrating" stripe offset on the left side. The Shakedown also gets 20-inch Slingshot rear wheels and a pair of custom 19-inch versions for the front. On each fender is a bright red "392" decal that uses the same font as the labels on classic Mopars 360 cubic-inch V8s. Inside, the Shakedown gets the same radical upgrade as the chassis. Two Viper seats accompany a Viper steering wheel, and the rear seats are gone altogether. The Viper gearbox is shifted with a Challenger Hellcat gear knob, and carbon-fiber accents and leather adorn the wheel, door panels, instrument panel and center console.
