So here is the story on the truck...
I bought the truck from owner #2 as a donor vehicle for a cummins conversion...I did not have the heart to dissassemble this truck as it was too nice to do that too. Owner #2 bought this truck in Las Vegas in 1997. He bought a newer diesel truck in 2005, and it stayed on his ranch, and he placed it on non-op with the state of california back in 2007. It is a loaded Club Cab LE truck...

The truck is very solid. There is no cancer on this truck, but does need paint. there is a spot on the bed where it has been repaired before, and paint has faded differently from other areas, and has clear coat peeling as well. The floors are about as nice as they come, and the roof is solid. There is no visible rust on the underside of this truck, and is consistent with Dry California vehicles.

Truck will need front tires, the rear dually have about 5k miles on them...rears are a matching set of 235/85r16 and don't rub...the fronts are 215/85r16 and are old and hold air...they need replaced...

As the pictures show, this truck deserves a restoration, the interior
is serviceable, but will need a headliner redone.

Please ask questions, as I will do my best to answer them
.
Total Miles=212344

This truck deserves to be restored or used like it is. I don't have time to play with it as I wanted to, and sold off the crew cab that I was going to utilize the cummins drivetrain on, so selling it off so someone can enjoy it.

I will be selling some of my other projects off in the coming weeks, Dodge PALOMINO truck, Dodge Monaco Police 440 car, Ramcharger C/S

I reserve the right to end this auction in the event of a local sale.

Vehicle is sold in "as-is where is" condition with no implied, written or verbal warranty.

Our video tribute to Star Wars with a Stormtrooper Charger

Fri, Dec 18 2015

When the refreshed Dodge Charger debuted, the white one was immediately compared to a Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet. Chrysler recently ran with that idea and decorated a fleet of cars, including some Chargers, for use in a marketing stunt to hype its wares alongside the no-hype-necessary Episode VII: The Force Awakens film. We got our hands on one for a day and had some fun making a few videos. Above are a few shorts with names that we at least think are funny. There's one that includes the latest example of video producer Chris McGraw's patented nightlapse technology (it's a hyperlapse shot at night, which just looks plain neat). In the clip below, you can see all of the car's various Stormtrooper-inspired details. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The car started out as a bright white Charger R/T Scat Pack and was treated to a partial vinyl wrap on the body and the glass. The fantastic 485-horsepower Hemi V8 was left alone. Watch the videos and then tell us how they're non-canon in the comments. Humor Dodge Videos Original Video star wars dodge charger scat pack

Driving the 2019 Dodge Durango Pursuit | Bells and whistles, lights and sirens

Tue, Jul 24 2018

Recently, we went to the FCA proving grounds in Chelsea, Mich., to test out the company's 2019 model-year lineup. There are a lot of cars to choose from, and only a limited time to drive them, so since we couldn't drive the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye (that drive is coming soon, though) naturally we gravitated to the flashiest, noisiest one: the 2019 Dodge Durango Pursuit police vehicle. This is the first time the Durango is being offered as a cop car, and there are a number of features that make it fit for service. All Durango Pursuit models feature all-wheel drive, and it's available with two different engines. The standard motor is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, providing 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The tester we got to drive, though, was equipped with the 5.7-liter hemi V8, good for 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. It also has a load-leveling performance suspension, which really helped out when we tossed it around the handling course. It has 8.1 inches of ground clearance, which means it can get to scenes off the beaten path. As much as we loved driving it, we had the most fun just playing with the lights and sirens of the Durango Pursuit. Standing outside the vehicle, the sirens and horn are incredibly loud, enough to make bystanders jump in fright. Dodge did a good job with the sound deadening, though, and the sustained wail wasn't bothersome when chasing imaginary suspects around the test track. One feature we didn't get to test out, but important to police duty, was the special Uconnect system in the Durango Pursuit. More than just an infotainment system, the seven-inch display is equipped to integrate various law enforcement systems. Another cool detail about the car, its tri-zone climate system is ideal for K9 units, with the ability to set separate HVAC settings for the dogs in the back of the car. Check out the video above, and stay tuned for more videos to come from our time spent at FCA's Chelsea proving grounds. Ram, Jeep redesigns on hold, Alfa Romeo models may come sooner

Wed, Jun 3 2015

Last summer, FCA outlined an ambitious five-year plan that sketched out the company's product intentions for each of its brands through the end of 2018. However, even the best strategies sometimes need tweaking. According to Reuters after speaking with unnamed people at auto suppliers, FCA is now possibly delaying at least a dozen projects in North America for a variety of reasons. From vehicle to vehicle, these postponements allegedly last anywhere from just a few months to over a year. The sources from the suppliers claim that in some cases these tweaks are for engineering and design changes. The next-gen Ram 1500 reportedly has among the shorter delays and is being pushed from mid-2017 to November 2017, according to Reuters. Also, the much-discussed future Jeep Wrangler is allegedly moving a little later to July 2017. Among the vehicles purportedly seeing longer delays, the next-gen Grand Cherokee could get pushed back about a year to 2018. That then forces the launch of the three-row, luxury Grand Wagoneer to be even further away. Jeep's upcoming C-segment CUV and the all-new Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Challenger might also see postponements. The one brand allegedly seeing an accelerated plan is Alfa Romeo. Without going into detail, the sources from these suppliers claim that the Italian automaker is getting even more vehicles for its lineup and could get them even faster than planned. "Those plans need to be flexible and fluid, with the potential to add some vehicles, pull some forward and extend the life cycle of others," FCA said to Reuters about all of these allegations. "We look at these programs on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis." Investment in the auto industry has been a major topic for FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne as of late. He believes consolidation is necessary so that companies aren't burning money on the same projects.
