Very Rare 1961 Dodge W300 Power Wagon with Braden LU2 PTO Winch.
The 61 was the first year for this body style & although I've been collecting them for many years, this is the only 61 I've ever owned...there were less than 500 built & very few remaining on the planet. The 1961 can be identified by the unique aluminum grill. It's a beautiful truck, it has 4.88 gears, Dana 70 front & rear axles, & it has a new 225 slant 6, Brand new Michelin 11.00 x 16 Radials
The truck has undergone much restoration over the past year. The chassis was completely disassembled every nut & bolt, stripped, painted with marine epoxy & reassembled with all new brake lines, fuel lines, shocks etc. The chassis was fully restored including rebuilt engine, transmission, new clutch, brakes, etc, etc. I have pictures of the restoration & will post as many as I can.
The body of the truck was restored by a friend & collector in the Seattle, WA area several years ago & is an excellent driver quality job. Everything was disassembled & painted, new white oak wood in the bed. The truck was used by him during the renovation of his home & so this is no trailer queen. It's real purdy & it gets comments everywhere it goes but it has marks & scratches, the paint is not flawless by any means but I have only ever seen a couple of W300's in my 20 years of collecting that are as nice as this one. She'd hold her own at any truck show :)
The Interior is excellent, the seat reupholstered & looks like new, new winch cable & winch engagement handle. Extremely presentable under the hood....It's as nice of a W300 as you'll find short of finding one that's underwent a $60k restoration & there's less than 500 miles on the mechanical restoration since the chassis was restored.
Tons of money & hundreds of hours have gone into this truck.

I have no time for any goofballs or shenanigans. This is a beautiful machine, it's going to sell because I'm putting no reserve on it...so be nice!! I've always hated reserve price auctions...that isn't an auction is it? :) For you guys not wanting to wait 7 days, I added a buy it now but regardless, it will sell within 7 days.

Dodge Charger Hellcat makes 1,032 hp with Hennessey help

Sometimes you just want four doors. Earlier this week we brought you Hennessey's riff on the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Now comes the Charger. Much like its two-door sibling, the Charger gets boosted to as much as 1,032 hp and 987 lb-ft of torque (at the crank) thanks to the addition of a twin-turbocharging setup that works with the factory supercharger. The turbo headers and downpipes are stainless steel, and there is a high-flow air-to-water intercooler and dual-turbo waste gates. Hennessey also beefs up the fuel injectors, fuel pump, and the rest of the fuel system. The engine management system and chassis are recalibrated to accommodate all of this. You also get numbered plaques signed by John Hennessey, the boss of the Texas tuning outfit, and the technician who does your build. Hennessey's additions result in zero-to-60 mph sprints in 2.7 seconds, and the big sedan can run the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds at 142 mph. Like the Challenger, the Charger has the same disclaimer: the lofty horsepower figure comes from an engine dyno, and it will be a 15-to 20-percent lower at the rear wheels. Watch 1,414-hp worth of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat do stereo burnouts

When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.

Germany threatens to ban FCA vehicles over diesel emissions dispute

Germany is threatening to ban sales of FCA products over diesel emissions. According to the newspaper Bild Am Sonntag, Germany's Federal Motor Transport Authority found evidence of a so-called defeat device that shuts down certain emissions controls after running for 22 minutes. A standard diesel emissions test in the European Union reportedly takes 20 minutes to complete. FCA denies the allegations. "We believe all our vehicles respect EU emissions standards and we believe Italian regulators are the competent authority to evaluate this," the company said in a statement. The latter part of that statement drew ire from German authorities, especially after FCA declined to meet with German transport minister Alexander Dobrindt to discuss the issue. Graziano Delrio, the Italian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, vowed to work with German authorities on behalf of FCA. According to EU law, FCA is required to homologate its vehicles in Italy because that's where its regional operations are based. When will the diesel-scented soap opera end?
