1938 Dodge pickup.
The truck is not what is looks like! It looks like an old Junker and that's how I like it, actually it's anything but that. The truck was built on it's original frame with Corvette C-4 suspension front and rear. It was done right it goes down the road strait and true. It has 4 wheel power disc brakes with power rac-n-pinion steering, Vintage AC that blows nice and cold. The motor is a 305 with edelbrock intake and summit 650 duel feed carburetor. The radiator is aluminum with electric fans front and back. The truck runs cool around 170-180 in the Florida heat. The transmission is overdrive 700r that works great. The rear has stock gear so she runs on the interstate at 70MPR @ 2,000 RPM's. The battery is located under the right rear fender it's in a drop down stainless steel box. The wiring is painless system and very wire is tagged with nice new fuse panel. The steering column is GM with tilt and key on the side. The gages are electric Dolphin and are all working as they should it also has working dome lights and under dash lights that come on when the doors are opened. It has an electric wiper motor and there is a wire running to it but I never hooked it up because I don't drive it in the rain. The glove box works fine and I built a steel insert and put a radio inside. I also put insulation under the carpet for sound and heat deading. The doors have bare claw latches and they do have electric solenoids but I never hooked them up I like the door handles. The electric windows work fine but I only have them on the drivers side not the passenger. Both door glass have some cracking I was going to replace them but decided to keep them because they ad to the look of the truck. The body was striped and left outside to rust! yes it needed that rusty patina that it now has. The body is very solid but not rust free you can see where there are some patches here and there. The body is not clear coated yet, that was my next thing to do but I have been driving the truck everywhere and enjoying it and have been working on other projects so I never got around to it. The front end is tilt and you open it by pulling on the grenade on the front of the hood. Don't worry guys it's not live! The body is steel but the fenders and running boards are fiberglass. There are just painted to look like rust. The front end has Zeus fasteners that hold it down. The running boards are reinforced so you can steep on them. It has a custom built tailgate that functions fine and the bed has pressure treated wood. The wheels are from a late model trans-am with nice tires it sits right and they do not scrape. The gas tank has a submersible high pressure fuel pump because the truck had a tune port injection when I got it. It never worked right so I converted it to carburation and I have had no problems with it. The truck is very reliable and drives like a dream you can let go of the wheel and she goes strait down the road, there is no play at all in the steering and it handles like a spots car. I really don't want to sell her but I have to many projects going and I've tried to sell some of my other cars first but there's no money out there so maybe someone will like my truck as much as I do and see the value. You could not build the truck for what I'm asking. I'm open to realistic offers but won't give it away. There is a ton of time and money invested and she still looks like a rusty old truck! I love it!!
The truck is sold AS-IS with No WARRANTY... Buyer pays shipping but I can help arrange on my end. The truck has clear Florida title in my name and is registered and fully insured threw Hagerty collector car insurance for 25K The title reads 1938 Dodge it also has the original VIN tag. The truck is available for inspection anytime just call me to arrange a time. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 813-478-3449.

2018 Dodge Durango SRT First Drive | Speed, and space for six
Wed, Jul 19 2017We're gathered along with other members of the media at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to drive a trio of new vehicles from Dodge's performance arm. Alongside a pair of SRT Challengers – the Demon and the Hellcat Widebody – the 2018 Dodge Durango SRT towers over the coupes, and is surprisingly menacing to behold. Its proportions may be relatively simple, but its hood scoop, air vents, and aero features let us know that this car is built for performance. A set of sporty wheels and bright Brembo brakes reiterate its purpose. A badge on the fender bearing the number "392," denoting the V8's displacement in cubic inches, gets us thinking about classic muscle. Even with the Demon sitting feet away, just looking at the Durango has us excited to drive it. Our first stint in the Durango SRT takes place on the infield road course at Indy. We had just gotten out of the Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, driving the same circuit, and we expected the Durango to seem tame by comparison. We were mistaken, mostly. The Durango SRT's seating position feels very upright, particularly due to a helmet that kept us from settling into the headrest. Still, we make ourselves comfortable, able to adjust the steering wheel right where we want it. Everything is in Track Mode – transmission, AWD, suspension, and steering – except for stability control, which is still set to Street. Taking off from behind Indy's famous bricks, throttle tip-in is quick, and the Durango SRT springs to life. The Durango feels fast under wide-open throttle in a straight line, which is impressive consider we had just gotten out of a louder, faster coupe. Dodge claims a 0-60 time of just 4.4 seconds, and it's that kind of acceleration that makes us agree with Dodge's boastful claim that the Durango SRT is a "three-row Charger." Then we take the first corner. The steering feels progressive, if not super tight, but the size and weight of the Durango quickly make themselves known. Body roll reminds us that this is, in fact, a tall utility vehicle, and definitely not a Charger. We lean to the side as the tires dig in, pulling the Durango around its axis and toward the apex of the corner despite the lateral momentum they are fighting. We're hesitant, but the instructor in the passenger seat coaches us to keep on the throttle despite what our inner ear is telling us. The Durango manages to stay stuck to our line as we push harder through the corners than we had thought possible.
Subaru Impreza WRX, Dodge Charger police car from 'Baby Driver' are for sale
Mon, Aug 21 2017Fans of " Baby Driver," now is your chance to own some seriously cool bits of movie memorabilia. Allpro Subaru is currently selling two of the cars from the film. The first is one of the red Subaru Impreza WRXs that were used for some of the film's signature stunts, which made the red rally sedan the de facto hero car of the movie. There were a number of stunt cars used to represent the hero car, including a modified WRX and an STI with a WRX wing. This particular one, a 2006 model, is a little more interesting, as it was the one that was converted to rear-drive to make it easier to complete stunts with it. According to the description, it also has a turbocharger from a 2004 STI to make more power, which fits what stunt driver Jeremy Fry told us. The description reveals other interesting tidbits. The car does have a clean title and has 158,000 miles on it. Obviously some of those miles were a bit rough, and the description notes that the stunt driving has led to some cosmetic defects. The AutoCheck vehicle history report reveals more. Apparently this Impreza WRX led a rough life before filming, as it had four mild to moderate crashes reported. It also appears that it will need the Takata airbag replaced. But on the plus side, this car is a unique piece of car and film history, and its rear-drive layout should make it interesting to drive. On top of that, it also has a leather interior that appears to be in good shape. View 5 Photos You'd better have a healthy bank account before trying to buy this WRX. As of writing, the bidding has reached $40,300. If that's too pricey, though, Allpro Subaru has yet another car from the movie. It's a 2011 Dodge Charger police car in Atlanta, Ga. police livery, complete with a V8. It's also pretty thoroughly wrecked, though the description says that it is drivable. Based on the bullet holes in the windshield, the Charger appears to be the one used in the (mild spoiler alert) final showdown between Baby and Buddy. But because this car is much less famous and in far worse shape, it's also much cheaper. Bidding has only reached $3,000 at the time of writing. The Fate of the Furious music video shows how much Demons love donuts
Fri, Mar 3 2017The new Dodge Demon is leaking into everything related to The Fate of the Furious in the lead-up to both the car and the film's debut in just over a month. The latest teaser involves Demons doing donuts and burnouts in the Get Off music video, with copious amounts of both tire smoke and hip hop to accompany the tire-shredding shenanigans. It also gives us a look at some of the film's other cars. Get Off is a song by Travis Scott, Quavo, and Lil Uzi that's featured on The Fate of the Furious soundtrack, which is out now. The teaser for the music video features a pack of Dodge Challengers - both Demon and non-Demon spec - along with a line of non-SRT related products. From what we can see, the movie will have a Scion FR-S/Toyota 86, a highly modified C2 generation Chevrolet Corvette, and a Mercedes-AMG GT S. In typical over-the-top fashion, the final shot shows a submarine bursting through ice in pursuit of several cars, including a Subaru WRX. We can't see much else as the full music video hasn't been released, but expect a few more teasers once it does. The Fate of the Furious debuts Friday, April 14, just days after the Dodge Demon's debut at the New York Auto Show.
