Up for sale is this 2005 Dodge Durango SLT 4x4 with the Magnum V8 engine. This Durango is an all original vehicle and has no
accident history on the autocheck report. This SUV looks great inside and out and runs like a new Durango would.
Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water
flood and
its being sold with a Pennsylvania salvage title. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. This SUV is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. I have been driving this
vehicle on and off and its a really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done recently and
its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The vehicle was
also just professionally detailed inside and out. The tires are in
great shape and have about 80% tread remaining. They are all
matching BF Goodrich tires. This is a very well taken cared of vehicle and
it will last
someone forever. This Durango runs and drives like a new vehicle would.
You
literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems. This vehicle also has the more powerful Magnum V8 engine. So, it can tow more and has much better performance on and off road.
This Durango SLT is
loaded up with all the options. It has the SLT trim package, Upgraded Magnum V8 engine, 4 wheel drive, third row seating, fog lamps, remote keyless entry, upgraded 17 inch alloy wheels with on/off-road tires, luggage rack, hood wind deflector, window vent shades, power seat, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, CD player, fixed running boards, cruise control, and just too much more to mention. This Durango has it all. The car comes
with the orignal Dodge remote key fob. We all the owners manuals and
booklets, as well as the original build sheet and window sticker for the vehicle. The vehicle cost $36,000 when it was new! We also have all the original floor mats, an extra set of winter floors mats, and the complete spare tire and jack set for the vehicle. The exterior of the
car shows extremely well. The car is very clean with no major dents or
scrathces worth mentioning. The paint looks to be in nice and it shines
like
glass. You can see your face in the paint. This is a nice all original vehicle with
no accident history in the
autocheck report. The exterior of this vehicle is in above average condition in my opinion. The
interior of the car is like brand new. The seats are is fantastic
condition and show no any wear at all. The carpets and other panels are
all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%.
This car looks and drives like a newer vehicle would, its that
great! This car is
being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. If
you would like to
see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so.
Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are
located outside my local area, I will assist in any
way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500
non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions
end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the
closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me
in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me
at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Matt and
my number is 646-243-9866. Thanks and good luck
bidding!

Chrysler readying 20 Moparized vehicles for SEMA
Tue, 08 Oct 2013The Las Vegas Convention Center has plenty of space for aftermarket companies and automakers to show off their wares, and it looks like Chrysler is taking advantage of the spacious floor plan. At next month's SEMA Show, Chrysler will have a full 20 cars from its six brands decked out with Mopar gear.
As a hint of what is to come, Chrysler released a handful of teaser sketches showing glimpses of modified Jeep Cherokee, Ram 1500, Fiat 500L and Chrysler 300 concept vehicles. The automaker will also use the venue to show off a new line of Jeep Performance Parts offered by the all-new Mopar Off-Road Division. In addition to the images, Chrysler also issued a brief press release - posted below - breaking down some of the "industry-first features" that Mopar has offered in recent years.
FCA issues recall for 300k Dodge Chargers over airbag sensor
Sun, Aug 2 2015Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has issued another recall, this time for the Dodge Charger. The issue stems from an overly sensitive control module that could deploy the side-curtain airbag and seatbelt pretensioner if the door is kicked or slammed too hard. The recall affects certain Charger sedans from the 2011-2014 model years, specifically those manufactured between May 6, 2010, and June 5, 2014. All told, that amounts to an estimated 322,078 units, including 284,153 in the United States, another 13,169 in Canada, 2,484 in Mexico, and 22,272 overseas. Owners of those vehicles will be asked to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the Occupant Restraint Control module recalibrated, and are being advised in the meantime to "exercise caution when closing doors." If this issue sounds familiar, that's because the automaker issued a similar recall for Ram trucks just last week, affecting over 667,000 four-door pickups in the United States alone. Following a further investigation into its passenger cars, FCA found a similar problem with the Charger, whose door design mandated specific calibration of the module in question for that model. The company says it is aware of three minor injuries potentially related to the issue, but no accidents. This campaign is just the latest in a string of recall-related issues to have emerged from Auburn Hills recently. The Ram truck recall was issued in tandem with another airbag-related recall for a further million pickups. Prior to that it called in another 1.4 million vehicles to update their infotainment system software due to a security issue. Another 350,000 Dodge Journeys were called in before that to have their engine covers secured. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is expected to issue the company a massive hundred-million-dollar fine for failing to follow proper procedures related to safety and recall issues. Meanwhile, another NHTSA investigation that could have affected 4.7 million units was closed with no further action deemed necessary. And an appeal court judge in Georgia reduced the damages the company will be ordered to pay the family of a child who died in a fire in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Statement: Occupant Restraint Control Module August 1, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is conducting a voluntary safety recall to recalibrate control modules on approximately 284,153 U.S.-market sedans to prevent inadvertent side-curtain air-bag and seatbelt pre-tensioner deployment.
Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.
