2004 Dodge Durango Used For Police K9 Vehicle. Sold As Is, No Warranty. on 2040-cars
Pocahontas, Arkansas, United States
This 2004 Dodge Durango was used as a K9 vehicle for a town of less than 8,000 people. This vehicle is a USED vehicle and DOES show signs of wear-and-tear. Pictures attached with listing will document all of the places where the wear was significant. The Durango runs good and does not show signs of burning oil. The air-conditioner works, but is not 100% cold. There are a few small dings on the outside, see pictures for better detail. The front-passenger window is the only window not tinted; however, the front-driver window has a defect in the tint. The carpet is worn from the dog as well as the rear-driver door panel. The front-passenger door panel is worn from the holster when getting in and out. There is a second row seat that is not shown in pictures. It was removed from the vehicle in between civilian use and police use and is in good shape (no tears or discoloration). The driver seat does have a tear. Other options that the Durango has are fog lights and towing package. If you have any further questions or need detailed pictures, contact me at 870-378-2384.

Chrysler recalls 88,888 Darts, Durangos, and Grand Cherokees for two separate issues
Fri, Nov 18 2016Chrysler announced a pair of recalls for the Dodge Dart, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee. They're unrelated, as the Dart recall concerns windshield washer pumps, and the Durango and Grand Cherokee recall is for fuel rails. But, as Automotive News discovered, the number of cars involved in both totals up to 88,888 cars, which is rather bizarre. Breaking down the coincidental number, we first have 34,633 2016 Dodge Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokees recalled because fasteners on the intake manifold can come into contact with the fuel rail on some vehicles. This could lead to a fuel leak, and a subsequent fire hazard. Chrysler believes only 30 vehicles will have this defect, but it's inspecting any that could have had the issue. The other part of the 88,888 cars recalled in total consists of 54,255 2016 Dodge Darts. The windshield washer pumps on affected cars could short-circuit the wiper system, disabling the wipers. Chrysler will notify owners of all vehicles, and will replace any faulty parts at no cost to the owner. Owners can also contact Chrysler's customer care center at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
