1972 Dodge Demon Vintage Street or Strip Car....   NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!

I  am listing my 1972 Dodge Demon...It is currently a drag race car..  I am a certified mechanic by trade and the car has been my hobby for several years.

Many of hours and thousands of dollars have gone into my car.  The great car is powered by a 440 V8 engine.  It has been built with quality parts.

Including a holley 750HP carb, aluminum intake..hooker super comp headers..906 heads..comp cams..valve springs..cam shaft 21-242-4.. double roller timing change.. electric water pump drive.. MSD6AL-2 ignition..summit billet distributor..  Also has front motor plates and 7 quart oil pan. . 727 transmission..  Reverse valve body..  B&M Pro ratchet shifter. . 8.3/4 rear end with green bearings 391 gears and a spool.. Also has a posi unit that does go with car. . The interior is basically stock with the exception of two racing seats and in good condition..  Note the dash has multiple cracks...  Has a 8 point roll bar..  Also, a five gallon fuel cell with electric pump..All shocks are in good shape..The rear slicks and frond tires are in good shape..  All the lights still work on the car..  Speedometor not working..

The car is very solid and in good condition...  The paint looks good  with screaming flames...  "NOT show quality paint"

This is a very cool vintage car.  Originally a 340 four speed car..  RARE WITH ONLY 8700 MADE!!!

The car has not been all cut up...Would be a great candidate for restoration or enjoy as race car!!  Car runs 12.10 quarter mile and a flying fast

110 miles per hour!!!  If you are looking for a great vintage race car you found it...You will be the only Demon at the track!!!

Hate to see it go but I am on to a new project.

The Dodge Demon is coming, an evil mutation of the Challenger SRT Hellcat

Thu, Jan 12 2017

If there's one thing we'll take more of, it's Hellcat. Dodge's 707-horsepower supercharged V8 is a shining star of muscle car ideals. A panacea to the cylinder-count and displacement atrophy. And according to Dodge's new website, www.ifyouknowyouknow.com, a even crazier version of the Challenger SRT Hellcat is on the way. It's called the Dodge Demon. The website features a series of videos that reveal more and more details of the upcoming car. As of this writing, only the first teaser is available, title cage (and also seen above). The final video, and full reveal, of the car, coincides with the dates for the 2017 New York Auto Show. Details are scant at this point. The video, and the press release statement from FCA passenger car chief Tim Kuniskis, point to quarter-mile performance as the Demon's sole purpose in life. Said Kuniskis, "The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is conceived, designed and engineered for a subculture of enthusiasts who know that a tenth is a car and a half second is your reputation." Whether that means an all-wheel-drive Hellcat, more power, or both remains to be seen. Stay tuned. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. 2019 Tokyo Auto Salon features one of the coolest auctions we've seen

Thu, Jan 3 2019

In just over a week, the Tokyo Auto Salon will host one of the coolest auctions we've seen in years. Jalopnik spotted BH Auction's listings, and it's a cornucopia of hot machinery you won't typically find at American auctions like Gooding & Company or Barrett Jackson. While Japanese cars make up most of the listings, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and even Dodge all have at least one car going up for auction. We won't include everything here, but you can check out the full list on BH Auction's website. There are 50 lots at the auction, including nine Nissan Skylines, nine Ferraris and two Porsche Carrera GTs. Some of our other favorites include a Honda S800 coupe, a Toyota Miniace truck, a Mitsubishi Willys Jeep and a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gullwing with the V8 from a W124 Mercedes-Benz E60 AMG that's estimated to sell for between $1.25 million and $1.5 million. Lee Iacocca's very first Dodge Viper RT/10 nets $285,500 at auction

Fri, Jan 17 2020

The first 1992 Dodge Viper RT/10 to roll down the assembly line, which was snapped up by Chrysler chief Lee Iacocca, yesterday hammered at the Bonhams auction in Arizona for $285,500, more than double the pre-sale estimate. According to a history of the car published by the auction house, Iacocca, in his introduction of the Viper to the press, pointed to the car on stage and said, "This one right here is mine." That historic Viper, with serial number 001, has never been available on the open market, as Iacocca kept the car from new until he passed away last year. The car has been driven just 6,200 miles and was being sold by his estate. Other Lee Iacocca cars offered at the same sale fared less well. A 1986 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country convertible — the ultimate expression of Iacocca's company-saving K-cars — with 20,500 miles on it sold for $19,040. That's less than the $20,000 to $25,000 the auction house had estimated the car would bring. A third car from the former auto executive's estate was a customized 2009 Ford Mustang. The pony car was one of a limited run of 45 Iacocca-branded custom Mustangs, which were reworked by Metalcrafters and sold by Galpin Ford in Los Angeles. The Iacocca Mustang, never titled and with 220 miles on it, hammered for $49,280.
