OK boys and girls, here's one you can drive home!!! First of all, bid with confidence, but I am selling this for my brother. Just so we are clear, the car is in Casper Wyoming and we are willing to deliver within a 200 mile radius for a fee. This is a NO RESERVE auction, this Mopar is going to a new home!!! Now that that's out of the way, time for business!!!!
Up for auction is a DRIVER 1968 Dodge Dart GT with a 69 swinger hood. This show stopper is sporting a 383 big block V8 backed with a 727 torqueflight automatic transmission. The powerplant  is sporting a Holley Street Dominator intake topped with a Summit 650 4barrel carb. Electronic ignition offers spark and gasses are spent through a set of TTI ceramic headers out dual exhaust. All this sitting in a REAL big block K member.

This Dart is rolling on Jegs Dragstars 5 on 4.50 bolt pattern with front being 15-5 and the rear 15-8s. They are wrapped with 235-80-15 Mickey Thompson ET slicks out back and 195-80-R15 Kumho Power Stars up front. The rearend is and A-body 8 3/4 with 323 gears and drum brakes. The front has been upgraded to disc brakes from a later A-body and heavy duty sway bars front and rear. The brakes are manual but the steering is power. She has a ROCKIN Sanyo am/fm cassette and 2 6X9s to wake up the neighbors if the rumble of the engine doesn't!!!

The body on this thing is a solid 5 footer by my opinion. It has had both 1/4 panels replaced as well as the front fender lowers. The color is an 05 Dodge color and is silver metallic. She is sporting a 69 340 Swinger hood and a few other goodies. The interior is original and is showing some wear. This is a bucket seat with console car and steers with a Grant GT steering wheel. The pass side 1/4 has a small chip in the paint and the car is missing one G on the deck lid as well as the Dodge sign on the hood, both are available after market.

This is a REALLY solid, nice driving car. It can be drivin home, talk about a cool trip, bought on Ebay and driven home just like in HOT ROD magazine!! If they can do it, so can you!!!

So bid with confidence and bid often. This driver is for sale locally and the seller reserves the right to end the auction at anytime. As stated earlier, we are willing to transport the car ourselves (for a fee) within a 200 mile radius from Casper Wyoming. Please inquire about transport fees before bidding. If you need any more info or pics, feel free to email us anytime.

A non-refundable deposit of 1000.00 will be required within 5 day end of auction and full payment within 10 days and removed from premises, unless previously agreed to in writing by both parties. If not removed and a mutual agreement between both parties, a 35 dollar a day fee will be charged for storage. I know this all sounds rough but we really are a couple of easy guys to deal with, just have to state a few things in case you are not!!! All moneys will be paid in US dollars.

Bid with confidence and bid often!! Happy bidding and good luck!!!!

All-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT confirmed by EPA website

Thu, Oct 27 2016

The US Environmental Protection Agency accidentally confirmed the upcoming Dodge Challenger GT by posting fuel economy figures for the all-wheel-drive variant of the muscle car. According to FuelEconomy.gov, the Challenger GT, which will come with the 3.6-liter V6 when it's released, is rated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway, giving the vehicle a combined rating of 21 miles per gallon. Those figures are slightly lower than the rear-wheel-drive Challenger with the same engine, which gets 19 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. While previous reports indicated that Dodge is planning to release the all-wheel-drive Challenger GT sometime in 2017, the automaker hasn't confirmed the vehicle. (Mopar's all-wheel-drive concept from last year's SEMA Show is pictured above.) With the EPA putting out the car's official fuel economy figures, the all-wheel-drive muscle car is definitely coming, and should be here before the entire Challenger lineup gets its expected redesign in 2018. And yes, we're still hopeful that the so-called Challenger ADR we saw in spy photos means we'll see all wheel drive and Hellcat power. Because Hellcat everything. Related Video:

Here's your chance to vote for the best-looking state police cruiser

Thu, Jul 18 2019

Across the country, state police generally drive the same types of vehicles. Right now, the most common cruisers are Ford Explorers, Chevrolet Tahoes, and Dodge Chargers, with some exceptions sprinkled in. The differentiation comes through in the livery, which can range from simplistic badging to busy stripes. Each year, the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) holds a fun contest to determine which state has the coolest-looking cars, and 2019 voting has just opened. We discovered the contest after Motor1 posted about the Florida Highway Patrol's newest addition to its fleet, a Dodge Challenger R/T. The musclemobile is, without question, the coolest car in the competition, and it might have the best livery too. But that doesn't mean it's going to win, as contests like this often turn into hotbeds for chest-beating homers.  The AAST is posting results on Facebook, and as of July 17, 2019, Kentucky and Nebraska are blowing the rest of the states out of the water. Florida is in ninth place with 4,653 votes compared to first-place Kentucky's 14,699. New Jersey is in last place with only 107 votes. As the internet goes, this will likely be determined by how many times the contest is shared across social media.  The Challenger isn't the only eye candy, either. Not every state participated, but those that did came correct with the photography, including Nebraska posing its car in front of a freakin' tornado. Others staged their cars with helicopters in the background, some set the car in front of the gorgeous landscapes their states have to offer, and others posed with dogs. Because who doesn't love dogs? No matter which car wins, it's cool to see the various designs all in one place. Check out the gallery above and vote for your favorite on the AAST's survey. The survey will close on July 30, 2019.

Man hits 153 mph on I-75 in Dodge Magnum

Tue, May 19 2015

A man driving in Michigan took his 2005 Dodge Magnum practically to the limit in the wee hours of the morning on May 19 when the Michigan State Police caught him on radar going 153 miles per hour on Interstate 75 near Detroit. The 21-year-old driver was spotted around 3:00 AM, according to The Detroit News. Michigan State Police First Lieutenant Michael Shaw told Autoblog that officers initially saw the man on radar doing 79 mph in a 70-mph-zone, and they started following him. He eventually clocked 153 mph. However, First Lt. Shaw was clear that there was never a pursuit. "Speeding isn't necessarily a reason to put the public at risk," he said. The situation ended rather abruptly, though. The driver pulled off the interstate and behind a building. He remained in the vehicle, and police arrived and arrested him. According to First Lt. Shaw, the man was driving home from work and alcohol wasn't a factor. The Magnum has been impounded, and the driver was charged with reckless driving. Unfortunately, First Lt. Shaw said that he didn't know what engine was in the wagon, but as enthusiasts, we're curious. After all, the 2005 Magnum RT was governed to 130 mph and the SRT8 wasn't unleashed until 2006, which means either the wagon must've been derestricted to hit such high speeds or that police have the year wrong. We'll let you know if we figure that one out...
