1969 Dodge Dart
A real classic, this 4 door sedan is in survivor condition. Rust free exterior and under carriage. One small spot on passenger side lower fender (see picture). There are 2 small chips in the windshield. There are some dings and chips that are normal for a 45 year old car but she is in amazing condition all around. The paint on this car is original. Original tan interior. 100% original and in excellent shape, even the factory rubber floor covering is in perfect shape. 72K miles on the clean and smooth running Slant 6, that has surprising power. Auto transmission shifts perfectly. Options include, AM radio, power steering and little else. Many people had or knew someone that had a Dart like this one years ago, this one is like stepping back in time. The car drives smooth and tight. The doors open and shut like the car is new. Radio works, ashtray has never been used! Even has the owners manual that is in new condition. This is a great running and driving car that was owned by a now elderly man who owned many Darts. It spent its entire life in W. Virginia. I bought this car as a donor for my 69 GTS restoration project but its just too nice and I can't do it so she needs to go to a safe home. $500.00 paypal deposit at auction end, balance due 7 days or less from auction in cash or "Good" cashiers check. GOOD LUCK BIDDING ON A SUPER NICE ORIGINAL MOPAR THAT IS GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO FIND |

1985 Dodge Omni GLH | eBay Find of the Day
Thu, Mar 7 2019Cars from the 1980s weren't exactly known for performance. The muscle car days had ended a decade prior, and computer controls and precision engineering standards were still in their infancy. But that doesn't mean the decade was a complete loss for automotive enthusiasts. For proof, take a look at this 1985 Dodge Omni GLH that's currently for sale on eBay. Carroll Shelby's affiliation with Ford was in hiatus (and under litigation in court), but the legendary tuner wasn't content to sit around and do nothing. Shelby turned to Dodge right around the time that the American company was dipping its toes into turbocharging. The partnership led to several interesting vehicles, but perhaps none of them were as unexpected as the Shelby-modified Omni hatchback. The '85 GLH you see above is powered by a turbocharged 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine that sends 146 horsepower to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. These days, that might not sound like a lot of power. But when you consider that the base LG4-code 305-cubic-inch V8 in the Chevy Camaro Z28 spun out 155 hp that same year, you start to understand why the Shelby Omni was a big deal. Suspension changes to the Omni GLH included stiffer springs, firmer shocks, and a lowered ride height that dropped the bodywork closer to its 15-inch aluminum wheels. GLH badging — which, in true Shelby fashion stood for "Goes Like Hell" — and blacked-out bodywork rounded out the updates. Dodge sold 6,513 Omni GLH models in 1985, and just 3,509 were equipped with the turbocharged engine. You'll have to look long and hard to find one that's nicer than this on eBay. The seller claims it's mostly in original condition, and its low odometer reading of 15,901 miles seems to back that up. It's located in Wixom, Michigan, with an asking price of $18,900.
Here's your chance to own a first-year Dodge Viper with just 333 miles
Wed, Dec 4 2019The Dodge Viper is certainly one of the most outrageous cars to come out of the 1990s, with its cartoon styling, massive 8.0-liter V10 engine, and utter disregard for anything other than performance. The first-generation models are the purest example of the breed, with an assemble-it-yourself toupee roof, side curtains, calf-searing side pipes, no air-conditioning (until '94), no airbags, no ABS, and no traction control. This first-year 1992 Viper is coming to Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale auction in January and has just 333 miles, making it a near-new example of Chrysler's wild child. Only a couple hundred first-year Vipers were built, making them among the rarest of the breed. All '92 models were red, the same color as the 1989 show car, the overwhelming reaction to which spurred Chrysler to put the car into production as a modern-day Cobra. With the Viper's departure in 2017, the car seems destined to forever remain the improbable offspring of a moment in time. That time has passed, but an ultra-low-miles example like this allows its lucky new owner to chance to experience firsthand what all the fuss was about.
Turn up the volume: Flat out in the Dodge Charger Scat Pack
Thu, Jul 4 2019The 2019 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack is a rare breed in the car market. It's a reasonably affordable large sedan with a huge honking V8 and rear wheel drive. You know, the perfect car for this Fourth of July. Or any day ending in Y, really. The R/T Scat Pack is the second most powerful version of the sedan with a 6.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 making 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. Only the 707-horsepower Hellcat is a more powerful Charger. But power is only part of the story. The other part is the noise. The V8 has a gritty, dirty rumble to it. We recorded it cruising up on-ramps, down shifting, and got a few standing revs out of it. Check out the video to hear for yourself.
