Selling my 1990 Dodge Dakota Convertible, these were factory convertible trucks. I bought this truck two years ago from San Diego, since then I had a new top put on it, new windshield, new Goodyear Wrangler tires probably less then 100 miles on them. Had the throttle body cleaned at the dealership last month, new wires, plugs, dist. cap, belts, filter...air and oil. New brakes front and rear, new cylinders up front, new Magnaflow catalytic converter and muffler, rear roll pan, battery is new also. Keep in mind this truck is 23 years old! I know everyone can't check out a vehicle before they buy it, I'm going to do my best to describe the truck as best as I can. If you have any questions feel free to ask. It runs, drives and shifts great! Engine, really needs the top brace for the battery bracket (has a bungie cord now) and the windshield washer fluid sensor is broke so I have it unplugged to keep the light off in the dash, the A/C fan turns on and blows but it's not cold.. needs refill. I took the side moldings off and never got around to taking the rest of the old tape off towards the rear the molding sat in holes, I never had them filled in case someone wanted to put them back on. Minor dings and scratches all over the truck it could use new paint and minor body work, driver side top of tailgate is smashed in don't really notice when its closed, drivers side rear bottom corner has a small dent. An insurance claim shows up but it was from the guy I bought it from, someone cut the top and stole the aftermarket radio he had in it. I bought an OEM radio plugged it in but only keeps time no noise from the speakers. The plastic on the top by the handles is cracked by each of the handles but doesn't affect the tops function. I put a led light bar above the rear license plate but I have the original wire harness and the plastic inserts for the factory bumper in case you want to put the factory bumper back on (which i do not have) one of the wheels is the spare...it's on the passenger side rear, I have a new 15 in. tire I'll throw in the bed, don't know where the other 5 star wheel is. I saw a little rust spot on the cowl, was a little surface rust in the bed but I sanded it and spayed with primer to prevent anything further. It has 147, 915 miles it's a 5 speed manual, manual windows and doors. There is old tape residue on the frame of the top from previous owner taping window back in..the spare tire mount was broke so i removed it, couldn't use it with roll pan anyway. Selling as is no warranties or promises, I'll take a video of it running and driving if you want me to send to a phone or email.

Dodge celebrates big B-day with 100th Anniversary Editions muscle cars
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Being in business for 100 years is a HUGE milestone, so we hope Dodge has more in mind to celebrate its centennial than just a special edition package for the 2014 Charger and Challenger. Called the 100th Anniversary Edition package, this collection of cosmetic enhancements will be available in limited quantities for both cars at a cost of $2,500.
Ordering a Charger or Challenger with the 100th Anniversary Edition package means starting with either a V6-powered SXT Plus or V8-powered R/T Plus model. They can each be ordered in many colors, but only the High-Octane Red Pearl Coat above is an anniversary exclusive. Each car also comes with an anniversary-exclusive set of 20-inch, five-spoke wheels with what Dodge calls "Granite Crystal pockets," a texture that's also mirrored on each car's grille.
Of course, there are commemorative badges galore affixed to the exterior of each car, including "Dodge Est. 1914" fender badges and "100" logos on the center caps of each wheel. The styling theme of each car's interior is a bit more interesting, with Dodge designers trying to evoke "the patina and machinist legacy of John and Horace Dodge," the company's founders. To that end, the leather interior can be had in Molten Red or Foundry Black Nappa, and each features a custom cloud overprint that makes the hide look like a working man's dirty dungarees. Designers also used brass-colored accent stitching on the interior's leather trim pieces, and affixed more "Dodge Est. 1914" badges to the front seat backs and floor mats. We do like the flat-bottomed steering wheel, and the Challenger 100th Anniversary Edition gets exclusive white gauges faces and the Charger black. The "100" on each car's speedometer is also highlighted in red.
2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Quick Spin
Thu, Jun 18 2015"Scat Pack" is plucked from The Big Book of Dodge Nameplates to describe what is basically the average of the Charger R/T and Charger SRT 392. Unnecessary horsepower always seems to go down better with a dose of heritage. If you think it's a silly name, just be thankful Dodge didn't call it an S/RT or an R/T-S. In previous years, a similar formulation was known as the SRT8 Super Bee. Going by another name, it's still as sweet and wears the same hurried-looking pollinator on the grille. We do wonder: What has displeased him so, and why does he have wings and wheels? The packaging is at least fresh. All Chargers get updates for 2015, including improved interiors and a Dart-on-steroids exterior redo. The new lines work especially well on the more aggressive models, including this Scat Pack car. Like the Super Bee before it, the Scat Pack gets the 6.4-liter engine from SRT 392; for 2015 it gets a slight output boost to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, respective increases of 15 and 5. It does without the SRT three-mode suspension and comes with cloth seats (leather is an option) to keep the price down. The Scat Pack also has slightly smaller Brembo front brakes, narrower wheels, and different rubber. It does, however, cost eight grand less and is just as quick in a straight line. Intriguing. Driving Notes Scat Pack cars get an electronically controlled active exhaust that we'd call hyperactive. It's loud all the time, opening its widest at startup, idle, and when you ask for any appreciable amount of power. Sport mode supposedly makes a difference, but we couldn't discern loud from louder. It's a delicious and appropriate loudness, with a brassy trumpet tone to it, and the engine makes top-fuel noises at full tilt. The squeal of the rear tires can be heard from every stoplight no matter the road conditions. A light touch avoids leaving a mark if you're so inclined. We weren't. When the tires eventually smear into the realm of traction, this thing is pretty quick – hitting 60 miles per hour takes 4.5 seconds. There's also an adjustable launch control mode if you want to cut out some of the wheelspin. The eight-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Quicker, more-palpable shifts are had in Sport mode, but occasionally the transmission still needs a moment to drop down from seventh or eighth when you mash the throttle. Despite its two overdrive gears, this Charger is still loud on the highway. In a good way. Probably.
Chrysler readying Hellcat V8 with Viper-like power
Tue, 21 May 2013A monstrous supercharged V8 engine could be in store for Chrysler and SRT products, if recent rumors are to be believed. Allpar is reporting that the forced-induction V8 - Chrysler's first, if this goes down - could make its debut this summer.
The story goes that the Hellcat would be based on a 6.2-liter Hemi engine, rather than on the existing 5.7- or 6.4-liter versions of the company's vaunted mill. In any case, the general consensus is that the motor will have gobs of power. Modest estimates call for between 500 to 570 horsepower, with some outliers predicting a figure as high as 600 hp. That figure would put the output would place the Hellcat awfully close to that of the 640-hp V10 in the SRT Viper, too. Allpar contends that a slightly lower powered version would allow Chrysler to keep costs below that of the more powerful Ford Shelby GT500, which might be a sweet spot.
The Hellcat could debut in a number of SRT products. SRT versions of the Charger, Challenger and 300 are all up for grabs, as is the rumored SRT Barracuda.
