Very nice Dodge Dakota Quadcab with bedliner & Aluminum Cap in a matching color of Metallic Gray. Truck has 4 wheel drive. Just recently detailed so it is clean inside and out. I have a set of 4 studded snow tires, mounted on aluminum rims that are included with the truck. If you don't want them I will deduct $250.00 from the selling price. The truck has a towing hitch installed by U-Haul. It uses a 2" receiver, which must be purchased as I will keep the ones I have. 3 season tires arelarger passenger tires by Michelin. I purchased them to replace original tires to reduce the noise of the all season radials that were on there. They were used when I bought them. The cap has a lockable tail gate feature to secure your belongings. There is an interior light in it also. Oil has been changed every 3 to 4 months for as long as I have owned this truck. Maintenance is current on vehicle.I replaced the plastic grill with a chrome grill. I also added a roof rack from a small SUV to have a tie down for my kayaks. I have never had any problems with this truck. Brakes & shocks have been replaced recently. Oil changes were done about every 3 months for as long as I owned the truck. Maintenance records available. The interior is clean. No rips or tears in the cloth seat coverings. Floor mats, front & back are included. I am selling this truck to get a vehicle that gets better fuel MPG.

The truck must be paid for in advance before it leaves my possession. I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 36 hours of end of auction. This can be paid to me via PayPal. Final payment with a cashiers check or other secure payment method is required. The buyer is responsible for shipping or driving this truck to your home area.

Contact me with any questions. It is a very nice truck, very comfortable on long trips. Studded snow tires give additional grip on snowy, icy roads.

2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Wed, 29 Oct 2014

Including all-wheel-drive models, there are ten versions of the 2015 Dodge Charger. The tenth variant - better described as the ten-tenths variant and the topmost model - is this Charger SRT Hellcat.
Superficially, you already know what it is: take the massively powerful Hellcat engine that's Frankensteined into the Dodge Challenger and stitch it into the recently facelifted Charger sedan.
Oh, but that would be superficial knowledge indeed. Russ Ruedisueli, vehicle line executive and head engineer for SRT, claims the Charger Hellcat is, "The industry's most irreverent four-door supercar." We looked up the word "irreverent" in the Oxford dictionaries, and it turns out the word doesn't mean "707 horsepower," nor "650 pound-feet of torque" nor "3.7-second 0-60 time, and seats five adults." It does mean, "Showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously."

The Dodge Demon was developed under a cloud of smoke

Tue, Jun 6 2017

The Dodge Demon needs no introduction. The car is so full of superlatives that most of it sounds unbelievable until you see and hear it in action. The car was revealed after months of teasers and cryptic messages, but the public weren't the only ones in the dark. From the start, the Demon's development was a closely guarded secret. There were even some within SRT that didn't know about the project. The people behind the car went through a lot of effort to keep it that way. At an event covering the finer details of the Demon's supercharged 6.2-liter V8, Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis and SRT Powertrain Director Chris Cowland spoke about the smoke and mirrors used to hide the Demon's development. Work on the car progressed for nearly two years before it was made public, with just a small team having full access to the project. Numbers were altered. Secret meetings were held. SRT engineers worked nights and weekends while parts suppliers were given as little information as possible to move progress forward. Preliminary work on the Demon began in April of 2015, not long after the standard Hellcat hit the streets. The goal wasn't to create a faster Hellcat. Kuniskis said that would have been easy. They wanted a single-minded vehicle that could also be driven on the road. It's the same mindset that brought about the Dodge Viper ACR. Dodge wanted a car that could sell the brand to both enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike. 840 horsepower is going to raise anyone's eyebrows, including the Camry owner parked down the street. While preliminary work started in April, the final greenlight wasn't given until September. The project was originally going to revive the American Drag Racer, or ADR, name. When we saw the first hints of the Demon last fall, we labeled the spy photo above the Dodge Challenger ADR. It was set to have 10-percent more power and 20-percent more launch force than the already gut-punching Hellcat. It was also only going to have a quarter-mile time in the 10s, just slightly quicker than the Hellcat. Somewhere along the line, the team realized that the ADR wasn't enough. It was just going to be a Hellcat plus, and that wasn't exciting. The main goal was changed: 9s with light. Translated, that means a 9-second quarter mile with light under the tires (read: a wheelie). From that point forward, everything about the Demon's development, from power to suspension to weight, would be done in pursuit of that goal.

Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet

Wed, Oct 7 2015

Not many of us have buddies with garages full of classic cars, but that isn't the case for Jay Leno and Tim Allen. Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. The two comedians did just that in the mid-'90s with a burnout battle on The Tonight Show between Allen in a race-prepped Mustang and Leno in a drag racer. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC. Let this clip serve as another taste of what to expect for the new TV show's mix of comedy and cars. After reminiscing about the old days in a gorgeous garage, the comedians get into two modern machines to reprise the classic challenge – after a little trash talk anyway. Don't worry because the YouTube series isn't going anywhere, though.
