Hi and thanks for viewing this listing for an original 1970 Dodge Super Bee equipped with 383 HP Ramcharger, Hemi 4 speed transmission, factory pistol grip shifter and 3:23 rear end.

This car was professionally restored to its original, stock condition and specs six years ago and has only been driven on rare occasions during the summer, since being restored. At the time of restoration the vehicle had approximately 70k original miles.

The car runs and drives like new with no know issues. It actually drives better than new with all the upgrades and it is a blast to drive. As you would guess, it draws lots of attention wherever it goes.

The engine, transmission and rear end have all been professionally rebuilt and have 4600 total miles on them. The odometer was also rebuilt at that time and also reflects the correct 4600 miles.

This car came from the factory with the rare optioned factory side scoops.

The vehicle has manual steering and brakes, rally dash with tic-toc tachometer, AM radio with FM converter.

Restoration work included the following:
  • Body was completely stripped
  • New rear quarter panels
  • New trunk floor
  • New factory style radiator
  • Front end completely rebuilt
  • Front brakes upgraded to factory discs (original factory drums to be included with purchase)
  • New fuel tank, fuel lines and sending unit
  • Holly 750 carb and headers (original exhaust manifolds to be included with purchase)
  • Transmission has Hays street strip clutch
  • New burnt orange stock interior
  • Electronic ignition
  • New BF Goodrich Radial TA tires

I welcome any and all questions you may have about this car and please ask them prior to bidding. I also welcome any in person or third party inspections, as I have nothing to hide with this vehicle.

I ask that the winning bidder contact me within 24 hours of auction close to begin arranging pick-up. I'll try to be as accommodating as possible, so long as you are acting in good faith. I'm also willing to assist with any buyer arranged transport carrier, but, once again, must be communicated with in a reasonable manner.

I require a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of the listing from the winning bidder with the balance due prior to pick-up. Remaining balance can be paid in several ways including a bank wire transfer, but will need to be agreed to prior to pick-up.

Thanks for viewing and good luck bidding!!

Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker and Mopar '14 Challenger up the retro appeal

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

The reborn Dodge Challenger might be getting a bit long in the tooth, having been on the market in its current form since 2008, but Chrysler isn't going to give up on its brutish, full-size two-door just yet. For this year's SEMA Show, the Challenger will be getting a new Mopar edition, as well as a retro-cool shaker hood on the 5.7-liter, Hemi-equipped R/T models.
As we mentioned last night, the Shaker Package will cost $2,500, but includes the Super Track Pak (new steering rack, brake linings, upgraded shocks and 20-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car tires), a $595 option on its own. The shaker hood result in a performance bump of any kind, but the blacked-out, pop-up scoop is a nifty feature that hasn't been seen on a production car since the Ford Mustang Mach 1 in the early 2000s.
The Mopar '14 Challenger (pictured right) follows the cues of previous Mopar Editions, which have included the 2010 Challenger, 2011 Charger, 2012 300 and 2013 Dart. Only 100 Mopar '14 Challengers will be produced, and they'll include the new shaker hood, Mopar's distinctive blue graphics and wheels, and whatever is pilfered from the accessory catalog.

All-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT confirmed by EPA website

Thu, Oct 27 2016

The US Environmental Protection Agency accidentally confirmed the upcoming Dodge Challenger GT by posting fuel economy figures for the all-wheel-drive variant of the muscle car. According to FuelEconomy.gov, the Challenger GT, which will come with the 3.6-liter V6 when it's released, is rated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway, giving the vehicle a combined rating of 21 miles per gallon. Those figures are slightly lower than the rear-wheel-drive Challenger with the same engine, which gets 19 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. While previous reports indicated that Dodge is planning to release the all-wheel-drive Challenger GT sometime in 2017, the automaker hasn't confirmed the vehicle. (Mopar's all-wheel-drive concept from last year's SEMA Show is pictured above.) With the EPA putting out the car's official fuel economy figures, the all-wheel-drive muscle car is definitely coming, and should be here before the entire Challenger lineup gets its expected redesign in 2018. And yes, we're still hopeful that the so-called Challenger ADR we saw in spy photos means we'll see all wheel drive and Hellcat power. Because Hellcat everything. Related Video:

Sunday Drive: The future looks bright, and the present ain't bad, either

A look at the week that just passed proves that Autoblog readers love looking into the future. Spy photos of the next Porsche 911 and a mysterious Dodge Demon prototype led the way last week as some of our most popular stories. A teaser from Subaru has our appetites whetted for the next WRX, and we're intrigued by the value proposition offered by the rear-wheel-drive Kia Stinger. Long-distance motorcycle tourers went gaga over leaked images of the next Honda Gold Wing. Such intense interest comes as no surprise considering that it's the standard by which all its competitors are judged, and it looks to be getting some serious new technology in its next iteration. And finally, we can't help tooting our own horn a bit. Autoblog just launched a brand-new Car Finder tool, which, after getting a few data points to work with, offers up a perfect list of vehicles for new-car buyers. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2019 Porsche 911 to get digital interior — only the tach will be analog Spy Shots: What the devil is Dodge up to with this narrow-body Challenger Demon?
